East End Food Co-op

The East End Food Co-op is a fantastic store to find organic produce and locally soured food. Their bulk foods section is unmatched. I also love that you can bring in and fill your own jars and containers. The staff is great and you can tell they care about their customers. I've been a member for years and enjoy the perks!

Easton Co-op is a really great place to shop. I go there for the vegetarian and organic food. The fruits and vegetables have always been fresh, but you may pay a slightly higher price than at some of the grocery stores. Along with the higher price, you'll get better quality food.

Everyone in the store, including the cashiers, is always very polite and willing to help if you have any questions.

Absolutely fantastic they have a wide variety of products and a lot I have never seen before. The prices are on the higher end but not out of reach. The drink at the juice bar I got was very good

Nice selection of organic and healthy foods, good prices, a bit cuter size than the big chain stores, yet you find a lot of things. Female hygiene selection is bigger and better than at the local huge chain of healthy food store competition.

Nice gluten free options and has organic cow liver and raw milk.

Unique products, clean interior, vibrant staff, and lower prices than similar high quality food stores. Eric the manager was very helpful. Definitely recommend!

I don't shop here all the time, but I do come for specific items that are usually not available anywhere else. In the early spring I always come looking for ramps. This year, one of the cashiers was so excited to see me buying ramps, and he asked how I was going to prepare them, then gave me his favorite method. I also come for hard-to-find bulk items like grains, yeast and legumes. And, though it is no longer required, I came here often during the pandemic because the Co-op used to require customers to wear masks. Just like I would not be comfortable shopping in a food store that did not require people to wear shoes, shirts or pants, I appreciate the businesses that care enough for their customer's health to require masks during infectious pandemics. Well done East End Co-op, keep up the good work.

This was my first time going to East End Food Co-op. It's smaller than I realized, but they carry so much! From organic produce and condiments to all natural hygiene and immune products to books and gift bags, they have it all, it seems like. The store is very clean and organized. Many of the items are locally sourced. There prices are a little high ($5.99 for a dozen of eggs), but that's to be expected when paying for quality. My cashier was very sweet and welcomed me when I told her I was a new customer. Also, you need a mask to enter. I love that! I am looking forward to going back!

When I lived in Pittsburgh this was my go to store for all my food and supplements. It is a true health food store and sells quality products. I love the local feel and I wished I still lived there to go to the store. I just recommended it to a friend so hoping he finds it as wonderful as I did. I plan to make a visit this summer and will for sure return as I am a life long member.

Pittsburgh staple. Walking in to smell the smells, look at the beautifully colored and variety of produce, and see what local vendor products they're offering are just a few things I love about the co-op. Folks with food sensitivities should considering making this a go-to stop for groceries. Things can be a bit pricey, however, that's most likely due to the amazing quality, freshness and uniqueness of the products they carry. Grab a lifetime membership for $100 to support your community, get discounts of bulk item purchases and enjoy a quarterly discount. The co-op is a store for everyone!

Best place to shop for quality produce and bulk purchases, worth the higher prices. They have other quality items but you need to watch prices as they can be quite high.

This is a wonderful store. They’re organic, non gmo, and sell locally grown food items. It’s also the perfect place to get a smoothie or snack if you’re craving either. Wonderful staff, love shopping here!
