Union Drummer Boy - Civil War Artifacts

First experience was not the best. I decided to give them another shot and wow! Brendan has been great to me and I have made several purchases from them. They have authentic pieces at great prices. I will continue to purchase from them and recommend them highly.

I just made my third purchase here for a hathaway writing kit I have been looking at for awhile. Previously purchased a soldiers water filter kit and mucket style cup.
Items are displayed very well and organized.
I can honestly say on one visit (as per a prior review) a gentleman seemed to have little interest in finding what I was looking for, but the same person did very well on the phone on my purchases, so I cannot say anything negative for a single minor incident.
I plan to make more purchases soon.

Every item is authentic artifact. No replicas. Best museum I've been to, because you can buy anything you see. Store owner and employees were awesome to talk with.

Brendan is a friendly proprietor who knows his business and is quite friendly. Bought a few CW items online, paid over the phone and they were at my home in a day..His reviews are solid and never one bad review about integrity. I would and will do business with him again.

Great experience! The owner ( I think Brendan) gave me a good deal on the sword belt plate I bought & also some Riker boxes. His store has everything authentic & nicely presented. His lady employee/photographer (forget her name) was very nice & helped me on the sword belt plate decision. I will be coming back again. Thanks

Very nice store/museum, it was very breath taking in there. You will learn and see a lot but it is very expensive to buy things there but you will now that it will be good quality and real!

This is such a cool store to walk through, just for the experience even. Such a cool and wide variety of items from the war you won't even need to go to a museum, And if you find something you like you can take it home! They even have a little gift box (a mini museum in a box haha) of items for under 20 bucks that make a neat souvenir or gift.

We purchased a rifle, but we were on the 1st leg of a trip, so we asked them to ship on the 16th. It arrived on the 21st. The date expected. Their packing was excellent!

As a collector of Civil War artifacts I recommend the Union Drummer Boy as the highest standard source to obtain vintage items. Their knowledge and the extensive research they invest in each item offered can assure, even the most novice collector, of its complete authenticity and quality. Both the volume of their inventory and it’s diversity is truly impressive. For those that prefer an in person visit their store in Gettysburg is akin to visiting a first class museum. I recommend them highly as both a dealer and a historical source.

Beautiful and breathtaking items of civil war history. If you are in this area this is a must see shop. The owner is knowledgeable and helpful to see other historical sites. He is a super person. I loved talking with him even tho we had to move on pressed for time. We hope to return soon.

Best military antique store I have ever been to. There selection of civil war weapons and memorabilia is hard to match. It is a must go for anyone interested in the Civil War.

I purchased a musket, a bayonet, a pistol a sword, and two drumsticks. All were undeniably authentic. The sales clerk was extremely knowledgeable and thorough documentation was provided. I am a serious collector and my experiences there have made it hard to purchase from alternative sources.

Went in and had a lot of artifacts! The clerk was very informative and answered every question with enthusiasm! The prices are fair for what they are selling and they're all originals!
