We had a great experience as a family here. The dining room was cozy, and all the staff were helpful and attentive to the fact we had the little ones with us. The pitcher of the Red Sangria was delicious and we can’t wait to come back some time to check out the bar side! The food was great as well.

Came in here during a visit to downtown while it was snowing. The dining room felt very cozy, and our waitress was very nice and attentive. The cream of crab soup was some of the best I’ve ever had. My buffalo chicken sandwich was surprisingly good, and I liked how it was grilled and not fried like many others. I wish I had a place like this back home!

Great meal, fair price, nice atmosphere

Service: everyone was friendly. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Took a bit for our entrees to arrive, but we managed.

Food: very good. The French onion was top notch and a very generous portion. Meatloaf was good, as was the sweet potato soup and chicken wrap.

Dessert: get the cake! HUGE slice, and delicious

Location: very cool pub atmosphere on the main street

Ate here tonight with my mom and two sisters before going to see a play. The host was amazing ! We got seated right away even though it was busy. He was so friendly in his greeting and again when we were leaving. Our waitress was spectacular. Very knowledgeable of the menu and offering suggestions of her personal favorites. The food and drinks were incredible! Everything was worth the price. To end the night we got complimentary homemade cookies and they were to die for! It was a perfect night and atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Walked in for one beer, walked out with a full belly and a bag of leftovers. If you have a big appetite, this is your place. The bartender warned me that the portions are big. He was not lying. I ordered the Stromboli and the Wing Fry’s ( beer battered fry’s tossed in out sauce covered with blue cheese dressing then sprinkled with blue cheese and broiled) the Stromboli was a meat and cheese filled delight and the fry’s were bursting with flavor. I tried my best but could not finish this meal and threw in the towel and asked for 2 boxes. With one half of a Stromboli and nearly a pound of fry’s still left I walked out in defeat. My left overs served as a breakfast and lunch for the next day. I will be back!!

My husband and I dined in at the Pub today while we were visiting Gettysburg and I have to say the food was amazing! Such great flavor and very filling. The portions are HUGE and we ended up leaving with lots of boxes :) The prices are super fair as it is but when you see the size it’s nothing. We ate the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, my husband had the chipotle pulled pork and I ordered the French onion soup with the appetizers Cuban sliders which are humongous.

Our server seemed to be the slowest of those working but the rest of the experience was good. The food was excellent. I had tomato bisque in a bread bowl which was rich and flavorful and the bread bowl was perfect. Crusty on the outside but soft on the inside so you could pull bits off with the spoon to eat with the soup. My wife had the spaghetti grilled cheese and we're plotting how we can replicate that at home because it was awesome. Prices were not tourist trap killers either.

I completely forgot to take a picture of my food before tearing it up 😀. I am a foodie and all I could say, this Blackened Catfish, is ONO. It is cooked to perfection, seasoned with southern spices (Alabama spices) , on a bed of veggies smothered with sweet chili sauce, with a little spicy kick. I am very happy with the food. I also like to explore and taste local beer, so I had a glass of Lollipop from Hershey PA. It's an IPA but with a smoother taste/flavor. It is very refreshing and perfect match with my unique fusion meal. The ambiance is perfect in a small town of Gettysburg. And a big shout out to Courtney. She is amazing 🙂 I really love seeing restaurant servers with positive and upbeat attitude. It makes the mood more enjoyable and pleasant.

We had no intention of going here but it was great! We had reservations at a different restaurant kitty corner to The Pub & Restaurant. While walking around during the 30 wait we found this restaurant and got right in.

I had the Grimster's Meatloaf and it was phenomenal! Our son had the burger. My wife had the pulled pork. After our son's first bite he said it was the best burgers ever! He ate it all quickly and loved it all. I brought half of mine home there was so much.

Drinks, Coke products, were plentiful.

The service was professional, helpful and overall great.

Only bad thing I can say was the cellular service in the building was nil.

Went here with some friends while visiting over the weekend, and we all could not have been more pleased. Completely unbeknownst to us, we had chosen to visit the same weekend as the 160th Anniversary of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. So, needless to say, the town was packed and we were having terrible finding a place for dinner in town that didn’t have an insane wait time. However, The Pub and Restaurant, was able to seat us right away (despite being crowded), and we couldn’t be more happy that it worked out.

First of all, our server Sarah was probably the most friendly and informative waitress I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. Right off the bat, she gave us a highly detailed run down of the menu, including her favorite items and a drink special for the night. She’s clearly so passionate about her job and the restaurant, which is something you seldom seem to find in the industry. Funnily enough, her tastes were very similar to mine, so my entire order was made up of things she suggested.

Started off with the spiked hot apple cider, which was the drink special for the night. So delicious, and perfect to warm up from the cold. All of my friends tried it, and wished they had ordered one too:). Next came the cream of crab soup, which was the soup special for Saturday. Once again, a home run. Sarah had mentioned that she was from Maryland so took her crab soups very seriously, and that this was the best she’s ever had. Myself and one of the friends I was with frequent restaurants in Maryland pretty often, and we both agreed that this soup was better than any we’ve ever tried. Finally, I had the meatloaf as my main course, which was so deliciously unique. It’s made with sausage and beef, and has blue cheese crumbles mixed in throughout. I know the latter can be a very polarizing ingredient with a tendency to overpower a dish, but I honestly found it to be a very subtle blue cheese flavor that complemented all of the other ingredients very well without overshadowing them.

We so wanted to get dessert, but were all so full. The slices of cake here (all homemade, of course) are so big that all four of us could’ve shared one. If we ever come back, we’ll definitely save room for that. All in all, a fantastic experience that made for a great night out. I will for sure be recommending this place to anyone I know taking a trip to Gettysburg!

My boyfriend got the meatloaf. We shared the Buffalo wing fries and I got French onion. My boyfriend said it was the best meatloaf ever….the Buffalo fries were not lacking any flavor. Each bite was amazing!! I could have just got the French onion soup as it was just as good and filling. The fries made leftovers for about 2 more days. Can’t wait to go back!

Stopped by another restaurant on the circle and it was too crowded and not very impressive. Walked around the circle and found this place - glad we did! Very friendly staff from the minute we walked in the door to the moment we left. Tim was our waiter and we interacted with no less than 4 other staff members - ALL of them friendly and helpful. Bring your appetite, I had the French onion soup, and brisket covered poutine fries. Delicious and I got a box to go. All for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Nice quaint place. Different than we are used to, but as far as food preparation goes, it was great. Blue cheese Meatloaf , Chili bread bowl, Hamburger, Brouchetta Salmon, hummus. Cheese sticks. Desert was a MASSIVE piece of Aldes mint chocolate cake and a brownie sundae

I was surprised by how great the soup and salad combo was. The service was excellent. The outside seating is perfect. The food was great. If you're expecting Maryland Cream of Crab, you're going to be disappointed. It's a great soup all it's own though. The poppyseed vinaigrette is delicious.

I'm so glad the full menu is back. Our food was delicious and we had a great experience. I would like to commend the staff and manager, we were there on Sunday. A woman had a medical emergency in the restaurant, the husband was distraught waiting for the ambulance to arrive. There waiter and manager went above and beyond to sit with them and make sure everything was OK til the EMT'S were there to take care of her. Hat's off to the staff, they showed there still are people out there who care about others.

The food was absolutely incredible. Everyone in our party commented on their dishes and the appetizers. The wings, poutine, and the Cuban sliders stand out as phenomenal! The service was prompt and the staff was very accomodating.
