Holiday Inn Express & Suites

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express & Suites on Old Station in North East, PA, and it was an exceptional experience. There was an issue with the King size room they provided me at first, so they upgraded me to a King Plus suite without any added cost. The rooms were immaculate, providing a comfortable and inviting environment for relaxation.

The highlight of the stay was the gigantic pool room with slides, which provided endless fun for both kids and adults alike. Additionally, the gym offered a great opportunity to stay active during my stay. I was impressed to find Dove products provided for toiletries, adding a touch of luxury to the experience.

Moreover, the complimentary breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations with its variety of options, ensuring there was something delicious for everyone to enjoy.

Overall, I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express & Suites for its outstanding amenities and exceptional service. And it's right off of I-90 which makes it easily accessible. It's the perfect choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in North East, PA.

This hotel is the absolute best getaway with young kids! The pool and breakfast alone are perfect. Shallow 3ft pool is so spacious and provides so much space for kids to swim and play. Small slide for littler kids and a large tube water slide. The water slide is fasssst for bigger kids but still suitable for a 4 year old.
They have a separate lap pool for adults. There's a hot tub as well.

Breakfast space is so large and the food was fantastic! They kept the food trays full. Tons of options from eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, hash browns, cereal, cinnamon rolls, etc.

Local diner next door to grab some take out

Hotel is perfect location to small town of North East. Great little shops to wander around.

A fantastic getaway for a small, young family looking for something to do

This hotel is a gem!! Excellent rooms for the price, two pools, a hot tub, a mini indoor water park, a steam sauna and the best breakfast buffet Ive ever had at a hotel!!! They have dove products for their toiletries, which is excellent! Everyone is always so friendly, I've made it my regular stop when I'm traveling in the area. It's definitely a family hotel though, don't expect quiet or alone time for couples or singles or luxury rooms/facilities. They're well kept, even if they're just starting to feel a little early 2000s dated, but this place is definitely geared toward families.

I brought 4 kids for an overnight staycation as their winter trip. The slide was down in the pool and that was a bummer, but kids had a blast regardless! Staff was nice- got us extra pillows & blankets and even gave us a late checkout..

Great getaway! Went with daughter and granddaughters to enjoy mini indoor water park. Pool is perfect size for little people. Rooms are clean, service great, and hotel is conveniently located from I90. DG store for snacks etc and a restaurant within walking distance. Complimentary breakfast was perfect. Dining area was huge compared to other Holiday Ex. Definitely for families on a limited budget.

This is a very nice Holiday Inn that is conveniently located close to the New York border and Erie. We stayed here while visiting with family in Erie and Dunkirk, New York. This is a very family/kid friendly hotel. We took our grandkids to the very fun pool. I also enjoyed the sauna and lap pool. There is a good bar and restaurant across the parking lot. There are other good restaurants within quick driving distance.

An out-of-the-way, beautiful hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. An amazing pool with fun slides for the kids and a relaxing hot tub! And a separate pool for those who don't enjoy the chaos lol the common area on each floor is a nice added bonus for groups who are staying at the same hotel!

The room was clean. The location is just off the freeway and very easy to get too. The continental breakfast was one of the nicest I’ve been to and the room the breakfast is in is spacious. Plus it is the first hotel of this type where there is a water slide into the pool.

Accommodating, friendly staff. Great location. They are currently remodeling. Nice indoor pool with water slide and features for kids. We were on the first floor on the pool side and was noisy at night, but beds were comfortable. Very nice complimentary breakfast. Would stay here again.

This was the worst hotel experience that we have ever had. The people above us literally stomped around and screamed the entire time we were there. From about 6pm until 6am it was nonstop. I went to the front desk twice because of it but it still continued and no one in my family slept at all the entire night. I did speak with the hotel manager who called me to address the issue and find resolution which I appreciated very much. He went above and beyond to resolve this for my family and we will definitely visit again and hope for a better experience next time!

Very nice. Lots of kids as is to be expected with big pool and water slide. Hot tub had no jets and wasn't really very hot. They did have another pool that had reasonably warm water. It didn't have near as many people.

Traveling cross country we usually stay in Erie but thankfully we changed it up and stayed at this great hotel. Nice quiet location, good parking and friendly staff! The hotel has a fantastic kid welcoming pool complete with hot tub for adults. Room was clean, bright and with very comfortable beds. AC works so well. Breakfast is served in a huge brightly lite room which overlooks the pool. The ladies in charge of breakfast are welcoming and make a fine breakfast. For dinner there is a nice country style restaurant next door. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a suite for 6, including kids. It was spacious. The kids (and adults) loved the pool. It's a huge pool with a slide.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a bar/restaurant right across the street, and food was delicious there, priced decently. All in all, it was a great experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in May 2023 while visiting Northeast PA. The beds were very comfortable with spotlessly clean bedding. The continental breakfast had everything you could possibly want including pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, danish, french toast, bagels, fruit, yogurt, juice - there was nothing missing. Coffee was great! Dining area was very nice and roomy and clean. Parking was a little cumbersome as the lot is rather small and not level. The shower floor was slippery and needs a non-skid surface. In spite of those minor infractions, we will definitely stay there again when we go back to Northeast.

Absolutely a blast, and close to the cute little town. We went for spring break and it was busy but not terrible. We’ll be back!!

This was an awesome overnight get away with the kiddo. The kid’s pool was amazing, she enjoyed it so much, as did we. We would 100% recommend and return! We ate dinner at the little restaurant next to the hotel and it was also really good! For the price you pay for this it’s way worth the value versus trying to go overnight to say, Splash Lagoon. The kid’s pool area has plenty to do to occupy and entertain kiddos. We saw kids of all ages enjoying it. We can’t wait to go back. We had the pool to ourselves for a couple hours but even when people came, it was not overcrowded.
The room was immaculate, very clean and so comfortable (bed, pillows) the bathroom was bright and big — we stayed in a double queen bed suite. We enjoyed our stay so very much!

This is a great hotel to take the kids for the weekend. They have a huge pool to go swimming. The kids had a great time here. It's close to a lot of restaurants and stores. I would definitely recommend coming here. It can get really busy on the weekends though. The staff and housekeeping are awesome. They will go out of there way to make your stay as comfortable as possible

Hot breakfast was on point. Eggs, sausage links and patties, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, hash browns, hot cinnamon rolls, and other basic staples. Food was fresh, tasty, and well tended to. Hotel staff were friendly and room was clean. Fruit infused water in the lobby. There were multiple pools and a large slide. I was told by staff this is one of only three locations in the US that has the large slide. The elevator sign pointed us in the opposite direction of where the elevator actually was, see video. The wallpaper in the stairwell was coming off the walls but didn't affect our stay. Bathroom had a fan which I don't always find in hotels. Would definitely stay again.
