Adams County Winery Gettysburg Wine Shop

Our family visited the Gettysburg Wine Shop a few days ago. The experience was fantastic. We each ordered a flight, and every wine we tasted was excellent. This is not just my opinion; it was the consensus of our entire group.

Most of us have done several wine tastings, and this was the most enjoyable -- due to both the quality of the wines and the experience provided by our hostess.

Jenn was terrific. She was extremely personable. She made us feel extremely welcome. She was so patient with us, as we had trouble deciding which wines to choose. She was very interactive, yet she gave us "our space" to enjoy our time together.

We all highly recommend the Gettysburg Wine Shop. We will certainly return!

Most tourist towns have wineries nowadays that use imported grapes and fruit. Adams County is blessed with some wonderful and unique tasting homegrown treasures, and Adams County Winery has mastered their fermentation. The downtown spot is nice, but I'd highly recommend the trip out to Hill County to visit their winery.

I have visited this location in downtown Gettysburg as well as the winery itself previously. The staff are friendly and well versed in the wines they serve. I particularly LOVE the "Dancing Pumpkin" and "Apple Pie" wines. The winery offers flights for sampling 4 wines at a time. There are several different flight choices. This trip I was able to purchase my favorites to share with family and some to bring home!

If you are visiting Gettysburg, add a visit to Adams County Winery to your itinerary. A beautiful winery with lovely local wines. Rebel Red is my favorite, closely followed by Tears of Gettysburg. We can't wait until our next visit.

Parking is on the street, so be aware of the meter rules. The space is airy and welcoming. The staff is very friendly. The flights offered are worth it. The apple pie one was great.

Wishing I remembered the lady's name who helped us on Saturday Feb 4th when it was so cold! Temps were holding at 11 degrees. We picked up several bottles of thier berry wines. I mentioned about a raspberry wine I remembered purchasing a few years ago telling her that I really loved it. She then said it was still available and sold us a nice big bottle of raspberry wine 🥰 It definitely warmed me up when we went back to our RV at a local campground. Yes we were camping in cold weather 😂 but this wine was quite enjoyable once we got back! I think all the service and their wines are fabulous! I highly recommend it! I love your raspberry wine 🥰

Been to both places every time we visit. The wine is delicious. Folks are very friendly. So good I am a member of the barrel master club.

My family and I went here to try a flight of wines and had the most WONDERFUL experience. Jenn was so incredibly kind and helpful and the wines were all amazing.

Great selections of wine. Our favorite is the Cotton Candy. A sweet wine that's wonderfully smooth.

Stopped in to buy a gift. We hoped to have more time there, but time was not on our side . The place looked very nice and the young lady behind the counter was super friendly. I was looking for a bottle of wine that wasn't sweet. They had two to pick from. Next time, we will take time to do some taste testing.

I was never really into wine. Even though I ran Restaurants and sold it for decades. I went to the Adams county wine festival. It was amazing. All the wineries brought their wine and you could try 70 or more wines. Adams county had great wines. I went to the store in Gettysburg. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I got 4 bottles of the frosted pear. It's really good.
