I'm so glad I walked in! Marc was very kind and welcoming. He was able to help me find a pair of shoes that actually felt so good on my feet that I wore them out of the store. My feet are long and wide so I've grown not to like shoes or shoe shopping, but this was hands down the best experience I've had shoe shopping in YEARS. His expertise comforted me and I loved supporting a family owned business.

Wonderful store. I have always loved their selection of Birkenstocks and Alegria shoes, but also this past summer, I sustained a significant injury to my foot and was in a boot for four months. When released from the boot, I found my injured foot could not fit into any of my shoes. I went to Best Made Shoes confident that they would know how to care for my mismatched feet, one now a wide and then other a narrow and even measuring different sizes in length. After working to make a wide shoe fit my one narrow foot, I happily walked out of the store with two pairs of shoes that fit! I am so thankful for the good care I have experienced from the Best Made Shoes team and for good quality shoes!

I have been purchasing shoes at Best Made for about ten years now. These people sell high quality shoes and take their time making sure the shoes fit. Today I went to Best Made with shoes that I purchased last week, that I was having an issue with, and they made it right immediately. What a great business and good people. Thanks

I have been dealing with foot pain from hallus rigidus for the past few years. Always having trouble with shoes. I finally visited this store and WOW! I finally have shoes that I can walk pain free in! One of my Birkenstocks was rubbing my toe and he was able to file it down right there. I love how I can have my shoes fixed right there locally. The guy at the shop was very knowledgeable and I even got orthotic inserts. It's a bit pricy but worth it! I got 2 pairs of shoes, one with orthopedic inserts and the other getting more cushion installed, all for less than custom orthotics I've had made in the past. I'll definitely be coming back and recommend this store to everyone!

I had a pair of *nearly* destroyed, but also discontinued Birkenstocks that I loved. Best-Made made them brand new! They added a new foot bed and a sole and they look like the day I bought them. I wish I had taken a before picture because these shoes were bad.

If you have any kind of foot problems, you need to visit this store. I have Hallux Ridgidus which limits the choice and availability of shoe styles to online searches. To actually have a STORE where you can try on shoes? And be helped by knowledgeable, professional store owners? This is a family owned store - 46 YEARS serving Pittsburghers. I saw another review where the reviewer received bad service and they had no shoes? They have lots of shoes and daily deliveries of more. The focus of their business is comfortable shoes. Perfect for people with problem feet. The service is very good and the best part - their knowledge and experience! They also repair shoes.

Their show repair is fantastic! I work in construction and my boots have needed repairs a few times. The repair prices are very reasonable, staff is wonderful and have been able to pick my boots back up within 24 hrs. I searched for a while for a good show repair spot and really glad I went to Best Made Shoes first!!

I needed a lift on my left shoe and got a comfortable pair from Best Made Shoes. I recommend it to everyone for custom made shoes.

Today I went to my favorite Birkenstok shoe store- Best-made shoes in Bloomfield. They have lots of varieties!! I bought some great suede loafer style Birkenstoks. The father and son duo have been there forever. I took my father there 30 years ago and they made him the most comfortable shoes he ever had- just right for his crazy feet. It's worth a drive to Liberty Ave. You won't be disappointed.

I work in healthcare and have lived in Pittsburgh for 8 years, Best-Made shoes is the place to get the highest quality shoes for my line of work. The Birkenstock selection and the expertise of the staff are just two of the many reasons to visit. I took my parents and my in-laws to the store and they loved it as well. If it’s good enough for my mother and my mother in-law it should be good enough for you! Highly recommend you visit.

One of the best shoes stores in Pittsburgh. I finally have tennis shoes that fit and give me support for weight training or walking. Excellent customer service, they know how to fit you with comfortable shoes!

So many Birkenstocks! Owners were super friendly and helpful. My boyfriend was getting new shoes and I happened to be wearing my old, loose Birkenstocks- Marc added an extra hole in them for me and they feel great! Definitely recommend

Marc Rosen has the answer to virtually every foot problem. I have bought his shoes for plantar fasciitis, for knee issues, for rehab for a broken foot. He is incredibly knowledgeable. His inserts are the key to my happy feet. This is more than a shoe store. It is a place for dealing with foot issues and finding shoes that make a huge difference in walking and running. His stock may seem limited, but he always has the right shoe or boot for me. Feet are tricky. Marc with will work with you until he gets it right.

I needed my sole re-glued. I went to a place near my house in the North Hills and they told me it would be a week to fix them. I called here and was told I could have them back in 1 day. I showed up and only had to wait 20 minutes for them to be repaired, not even a full day. Now THAT is great customer service! Thank you!

My mom and I visited Best-Made Shoes in Bloomfield. She has a lot of joint problems and has a very difficult time finding comfortable shoes that also provide adequate stability and she was able to find everything she needed at this store. Marc is extremely knowledgeable and actually helped even out her different leg lengths with an insert to hopefully promote less pain and better stability. He exhibited extreme patience while determining the best shoe and fit for my mom and it was a wonderful experience for both of us. My mom feels great and secure in her new shoes and I have more peace of mind knowing that a true professional fit her with the best shoes for her needs and now Best-Made Shoes is the only place we'll shop for her footwear. Since our first visit she has gone back twice for additional styles and each of those visits was equally rewarding as far as customer service and quality of their products.

They were able to fix my pretty worn limited edition Birkenstocks to the point where I think they will last me another 4 years! Definitely recommend.

I love this shoe store so much that I've continued to buy shoes from them 15 years after I moved out of town. They're friendly and helpful and will help you find what works for you. When I went there, they suggested arch inserts that have ended the terrible pain I used to have in my feet. Plus, the shoes last forever. Some brands seem expensive but I've had pairs for ages and ages because they hold up so well, so I end up spending less in the long run. I can't find anyone else that has their level of experience, so I highly recommend them.

Best-Made Shoes is the only shoe store I use since I found them some five years ago. The shoes and insoles they fitted me with took care of my pain and I haven't had a problem since. I tried a few other stores but these people know what they are doing. I recommend Best-Made Shoes to everyone

Highly recommend Best Made Shoes. Quality shoes and knowledgeable staff. The owner measured both my feet! That hasn't happened in at least a decade! Found a wonderful pair of Alegria clogs. Very comfortable. I'm on my feet all day and these they immediately made my lower back feel better. Best Made Shoes keeps a record of my size and purchase. They have a great selection of Birkenstock, Alegria, New Balance and other well made shoes. Loved the cozy sunny shop and parking out back.

I live in Cleveland and found this excellent place on-line; it's worth the drive! The owner is a second generation cobbler and, importantly, a pedorthist (look it up) and very kind. I walked in wanting to buy expensive molded shoes (which he makes) for my problem. He examined me and stated that such shoes would do no better than an off-the-shelf product. As I was trying them on I noticed that he was wearing the same New Balance product. I watched his son serve another customer and was struck by how much he was like his father; giving information, never selling. I wasn't sold any additional products and requested that packaging be discarded. I've read the negative reviews--indeed 75% of the negative reviews were from a folks who had left only one review anywhere on google--not reviews worth considering. The remaining negative review was from a fellow who (if you read his other reviews) has poor to average experiences at most the vendors he visits. I waited over two months from my visit to write this review; wanted to be sure that the solution Best-Made Shoes provided worked for me. It's worth a 200 mile plus round trip for me and I will return; great service, great products and fair pricing--why go anywhere else?
