Villa Ballanca

Neighborhood Gem - Went out here this evening with 4 other family members (been coming here for years and plan to come back again). We enjoyed good food and had a good time. Overall I rate it 4.4 out of 5 for the food and 5 out of 5 on service.
We arrived at 6 PM in the restaurant was packed. However, even though they were extremely busy our wait person was very attentive, got us our drinks quickly and checked in frequently. Food was good to very good - everyone started off with fresh salads and we had a couple of bowls of the wedding soup. Salads were fresh wedding soup was very good 5 out of 5 on the soup. Dish 1: fettuccine à la carbonara - huge portion just as described in the menu (not traditional carbonara, but an alfredo version) rich, filling, tasty 4.5 out of 5. Dish 2: linguine Pescatore with scallops, shrimp, muscles and clams - seafood was all cooked perfectly, dish was great where seafood was highlighted and not the sauce ( if I had a critique, the sauce was a bit watery and could’ve used a pinch more seasoning) but it was very good 4.5 out of 5. Dish 3: vegetarian calzone was cooked well tasted great and the sauce was excellent which bumps the overall rating to 4.6 out of 5 (the filling seemed a tad light on mozzarella but the sauce made up for it) Dish 4: raspberry chicken, I did not try this but I heard it was great and would get it again if they came back. 5 out of 5. Dish 5: chicken Parmesan chicken was cook well pasta was done well and 4.5 out of 5.
This place is a great value when you consider the combination of the quality, service, and price.

This is truly a family owned Italian restaurant, the family and employee's are amazing, nice calming Italian music, great staff! Friendly and polite, they come to check on you a lot! You wait for nothing, the food is really something else, true Italian food cooked homemade by real Italians, they import their supplies from Italy! The prices are really too cheap for the amazing food and service! This is our favorite restaurant, I highly recommend it to everyone!

This is a family run business that makes it even better. Everyone is kind & very knowledgeable of the menu, offering suggestions when asked. The food is AWESOME, I have yet to have something that wasn't delicious. Prices are very reasonable too.❤😋

True authentic Italian food! We always bring friends here when they are visiting from out of state. We are proud to bring them to villa ballanca to enjoy such amazing food with very generous portions! The chicken Romano is one of our favorite things to order.

We spent our wedding anniversary here and it was great. The staff were incredible and the food portion was crazy big.

We just love this place! Great food, huge portions, awesome waitstaff, fair prices. Even the music is old world Italian instrumental. A lovely place to enjoy a delicious meal. 😊

Nice little Italian restaurant in Lower Burrell. Their red sauce isn't too bad and they provide garlic bread sticks before the meal. I had Chicken la Mafia. Very delicious. Soup of the day was chicken noodle soup which I thought was an odd choice for an Italian restaurant. That was my only complaint.

Was my first time eating here, it was AMAZING! Food was delicious! Had to wait for a bit to be seated, about 20 minutes. Was definitely worth the wait. We will definitely be going back!

This is an amazing Italian restaurant! The food the service the atmosphere was all amazing! I have only eaten here twice, but that is going to change because i am in love!

Authentic Italian cuisine, the nicest staff imaginable, and the best cannolis I’ve ever had. My family and I are regulars and have held several parties there. They’re the best!

The best service you can find Lower Burrell! Our server Madison was a master of the her craft. Great food is a bonus :)

Very friendly place, everyone there is super nice. Waitress go way above to please everyone! Highly recommended. I have had many parties there great place.

So many of our family's memories involve Villa Ballanca! From family dinners, to our rehearsal dinner years ago, wakes for loved ones who have passed, birthday parties, work parties, friend gatherings. We have always had wonderful food, service and experience here. I highly recommend taking advantage of this little gem in Lower Burrell.

This place serves wonderful Italian dishes. I love it all. They serve bread sticks with your salad and warm rolls with your dinner. The sauce is super tasty. This time I ordered eggplant parmesan with pasta and it was the best!

Great food & large portion. Service was great & the Chicken Scallopini was delicious!!
