Winschel Hardware

I can't say enough good things about this institution. Places like this are rapidly disappearing due to box stores. The folks who work here are knowledgeable, friendly, and if they don't have it, you don't need it! This is my go-to place for everything from nuts & bolts to extension cords to flowers to plumbing supplies!

Winschel's is an outstanding hardware store. I used to go to big box stores first, believing them to be cheaper - my mistake. Since i started going to Winschel first I've found them to be a little cheaper or a little more, averaging out to be the same price as the orange and blue stores. What's much more important is that you're supporting a generous local business that is vital to the community.

Staff is so nice and willing to help with any project. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. They have most of what you will need for any basic home project and they are willing to order you anything you need. Its going to be sad to see this place go

Family owned and operated. Staple of the community and has been here forever. Much more helpful than the big box retailers and if you can't find what you need here, they will get it for you. You cannot beat the level of service that you'll get here.
