The perfect neighborhood bar/hang out. Great drink selection and prices. The customers are all friendly and the bartender was awesome and attentive. Also if you want food then the restaurant next door will bring your food over once you order. 100% recommend

This is what the cozy STL “neighborhood bar” should be. Cash only (with ATM) but super quick and friendly service, good tap selection, really good music and atmosphere. If your Spotify daylist is telling you to seek therapy, this place might be your vibe.

I haven’t tried the food, but some friends did and all said it was great.

The location is so peaceful and beautiful that it truly makes this bar a great place to relax. Another great thing is that there is an excellent hot dog restaurant next door, making it an option to enjoy a beer and hotdog in their awesome outdoor sitting area. Overall, I had a beautiful experience and hope to go back soon.

Went to the Tick Tock Tavern for the first time and I’m sad for all the time I hadn’t spent there since I’ve lived in the city. What a fantastic place! The decor is a delight to look at and the staff were friendly. Will be back.

Great place. Cash only, but they have an ATM. Good beer selection and great vibes. They even have a game room in the back if you need a place to meet for TTRPGs.

The Tick Tock Tavern is one of our favorite bars in STL. You feel right at home and everyone from the staff to the other bar patrons are great. Its kind of like Cheers, but in St. Louis. Still my favorite bar in St. Louis.

Bar is cash only. They've got a great selection of local on tap beers and an awesome patio, as well as a restaurant next door that will deliver to the patio or bar.

Fun little neighborhood bar. We sat in a room with board games and quizzed each other with trivial pursuit cards. Only downside is it's cash only at the bar so be prepared. They make good drinks though, I was thrilled to be able to get an aperol spritz

Sick little hidey hole in the heart of Tower Grove East that has a great beer selection, patio seating with fires on chilly nights, and the best collection of owl paraphernalia this side of the Mississippi.l

Super friendly neighborhood bar. There is a connecting business with Hawaiian food if you get snacky. It’s cash only for the bar so be prepared for that. They do have an ATM. Porch, back areas and bar seating.

A true neighborhoos dive and I say that as the highest compliment. Cheap but good drinks. Regulars at the bar. People playing board games in the booths. People eating Buzz' Hawaiian food from next door around the firepits in the back. Remember to bring cash and you'll have a great night!

This is such a cool/funky bar with super friendly and welcoming staff. The drink menu is great with something for everyone (good NA beer too!). We are so happy we found this place!

Super interesting decor and wonderful ambiance. A place to have casual drinks with friends and great conversations. I'm not even going to mention the tasty hotdog stand next door with vegetarian options available! This bar is truly a spectacle, one of my favorite places with some of the best best St. Louis local beers on tap!

Whether it's the unique decorations, amazing happy hour pricing, or comforting atmosphere, this bar is one of my favorite STL locations! There's a wide variety of craft beer as well as standard rail cocktails. There's a nice patio area in the front and back of the bar and lots of tables inside. Nice people, strong drinks, fun energy--what more could you ask for?

Quirky Southside bar with a quirky but knowledgeable bartender and a quality selection of reasonably priced local beers, along with some interesting local customer created vintage drinks. First visit to the Tik Tok was about 40 years ago when we were waiting to meet our realtor for our final walkthrough on the house we were buying a block from the Tik Tok. The bar closed a few years later and didn't reopen for a very long time - maybe 4 or 6 years ago. Just returned to St. Louis 2 years ago so not exactly sure if the chronology. What I do know is that it still looks the same - inside and out - as it says 40 years ago - a true Southside neighborhood bar on Tower Grove East. Bravo.

I visited Tick Tock for the first time and had a great experience . The crowd was very laid back and chill. There was interesting vintage items all around that kept things interesting. This is a non smoking bar as well. That was a great thing. The bar was pretty packed but we were able to get our drinks quickly. I think the place was a house at some point that was converted into a bar. It's different but very interesting inside. I'm sure I'll visit the tavern again.

Awesome neighborhood bar. Easily the most friendly staff in the area. Cozy inside with board games, and a good outside patio. Would highly recommend. Check out Steve's Hot Dogs next door for a quick bite to eat while you're there!

It's a neighborhood tavern. Very welcoming with a very large selection of libations, both hard liquors and beers. Their beers are mainly local brewery and their tap selection is more than adequate. Give the rye ale a try, you shouldn't be disappointed.

I LOVED THIS BAR! We were greeted at the door & everyone was so friendly. Good prices on drinks, well-made cocktails, & a laid-back vibe. Definitely come here if you're in the area!
