Friendship Beer Distributor

One of my favorite distributors so far in Pittsburgh. I moved from NY like 3 years ago never seriously into beer so it was definitely a culture shock. But for someone looking to explore different tastes/variety this would DEFINITELY be the place to go. They have such a large variety of ipas, ciders, sparkling wine, wine coolers for someone that likes alternatives to beer.

Not only that but on the several occasions that I've been there Neil (I believe the manager/owner) is extremely friendly and helpful the first time I visited, he set the tone for me using Friendship beer as my go to beer distributor now lol.

The dude that works in the morning is a super awesome person always helpful and deserves a raise. Very clean store and great selection

Store is clean new and has lots of options. And they take requests and will have them ready for you. Roy helped me out with my selections and recommended this delicious beer. He got our business

I walked in and was overwhelmed by the amount of selection this store had available. I didn’t know what to choose and the staff at the register was so helpful. I really appreciated his knowledge and friendliness in picking out a variety pack. I will definitely be back again to try his other suggestions

Friendship Beer has every beer you'd want, and we've even been able to request one that we searched high and low for and couldn't find - they had it available within a few days! Absolutely the friendliest and most welcoming beer store in the area.

Great selection (w/ requests!), all the staff I've met have been amazing and friendly, pretty good prices. My favorite local beer shop :)

Good selection, not everything I was looking for was cold since the cooler is small, but the man at the register noted what I was looking for. Parking is in the back, accessible from the alley right next to it, or from S. Graham. Can't wait till the prices are listed somewhere so I know if I m getting a good deal or not. Walkable too if you're just getting crafts. Selection looked a lot better than at Market District without the added inconvenience of waiting in a coffee line or having to actually go inside of a Giant Eagle.

This is THE place for all my beer/seltzer needs. The employees are so sweet and helpful and they’re always willing to take requests for different products. I constantly rave about this place to my friends. Highly recommend

I like this place. Clean, no-nonsense, and the guy working at the register is pretty cool! Great location as well.

Edit: I’ve come in several times since leaving my original review and my opinion of this place has only gotten better. All of the employees are really kind and helpful. As I’ve previously stated the store is impeccably clean. Very easy to navigate. I wish I could give this place 10/5 stars, but the 5/5 stars will have to do.

was not open Saturday night at 9:30. supposedly they close at 11...

edit: the lights were still on but regardless, I came back and had a very pleasant first visit and the selection is great so I don't mind all that much.

Just went here for the first time and I know I’ll be back. I really appreciate that when I chose my beer, they also let me know that there was a chilled option in the cooler. Not to mention I looked multiple places for my choice and everyone was out but not here they had a ton of stock. Really nice people work here, highly recommend.

Omg I love this place and Roy is so cool! Just moved back to Shadyside after living downtown for 10 years, and was so excited when I found this gem! The variety is outstanding and people there are so nice! I don’t go to bars so this is my new beer place for sure!!!! You guys are awesome!

Great Place. Roy should have a raise. Parking is in the rear. Highly efficient in terms of domestic and everything under the sun, plus local beers.

omg I love this beer store! Perfect location (can stop before/after grocery shopping), with parking, a ton of craft brews as well as imports. Even better is that they're open till 10! There have been too many times where we decided to have beers at 8pm only to discover that all the beer stores around close at 8, thus foiling our Friday/Saturday plans. Friendship Beer is central, easy to get to, has parking, and is open when we decide on a night in with beers and a movie. They even helped us carry some of the beers to the car. Can't get any better than that!

This store had everything I wanted and the customer service was superb. This will be my go to beer stop.

Stopped by for the first time tonight after a long day at work, Ray (Rae) was very friendly and I very much enjoyed her conversation and the stores selection. This beer distributor is walking distance from my house so I look forward to stopping by for my mango white claws often 🧡

The store was clean and had a wide selection of domestic and Pittsburgh-brewed beers. The owner was extremely nice and knowledgable about my questions related to a specific beer. Additionally, they take suggestions and will order specific beers to but on the shelves!
