This place is a hidden gem! I have been to Balistreri Auto several times and everytime my guys hook me up and have my car back to me the same day. The first time I went to them, I was quoted 7,000 from someone else after having my car for 2 weeks, I took it here paid less than 500 had it back the same day. Since then anytime I have an issue I take it to Tony and his sons and they have me fixed up the same day and for beyond a reasonable price. They are always very professional, thoroughly explain what is wrong with your vehicle and never try to upsale on anything. They are very friendly and make you feel like family. This is literally my go to place, if you want fast affordable, efficient work by a honest mechanic take your vehicle to Balistreri.

I had to find a new garage to do my inspections recently . I do my own mechanical work on my vehicles and know them inside and out. Tony did not try to upsell me or charge for unneeded repairs. He got me in quickly and got my inspection done in a timely manner. I'll be bringing all of my family's vehicles here going forward.

I was told after an oil change, from ANOTHER mechanic, that I needed a new transmission pan. Tony got me in and put my car on the lift and showed me what I needed to do, which was to NOT get a new pan.
He not only saved me money, but potential problems with doing this unneeded work. First time dealing with Tony and I think I may have found a new mechanic. His honesty, knowledge, and kindness was very evident.

Brought my daughter's car in for inspection. Tony fixed us up with new front tires and alignment at a great price. And the work was done quickly. He didn't hit us with recommended and unneeded repairs. I go to a dealer when my cars are still under warranty, but Tony is the place to go when the warranty is not an issue.

I’ve been having brake problems for years, and other guys couldn’t give me a straight answer. I don’t know much about cars so I never pushed them on it. Tony looked at my car for what felt like 5 minutes before identifying the problem. He brought me out and walked me through everything. Ended up being a big job, but he got me a reasonable quote and finished the work in under 24 hrs. I feel like km driving a new car now. I will definitely be back!

Brought my car in and from beginning to end he was great! He was very professional, honest and explained everything in a way that was simple and easy to understand. You can tell he really takes pride in his business and wants happy customers. The job was done quickly and efficiently, and the prices were great! My car needed 4 tires and alignment. Also I needed the Drivers side view mirror with the Turn Signal built in. I am on a fixed budget and Tony recommended Tires that were reasonably priced with a good warranty. He explained that the Wheel Alignment needed to be done, but could wait for up to 2 months without causing damage to my new tires. Tony told me that the side view mirror that my car needed cost well over $300.00, but Tony called several other companies locating the mirror I needed used for $95.00. The mirror looks brand new. Most other companies would say everything needed done that day and certainly would not search for a used piece for you. I know nothing about cars and Tony explained everything in a way I understood. Tony is a caring, & compassionate man and he has my business for life!

I love going to Balistreri Auto because they are honest and don't do any unnecessary on cars. I have been going to Tony for 26 years and have never had any problems. I would recommend him to any of my family and friends. I have never had any problems with getting an appointment or getting my car fit in when a emergency arises which has been twice. I trust Tony and his employees to do the repairs and anything that needs to be done. It is great to see the next generation his son Josh is learning the trade,so Balistreri auto will continue. I only trust Balistreri auto to work on my car. Car owners should come and bring their cars for honest and great service.Fair prices and let you know what needs to be done ahead of time and how much it is going to cost.

Excellent service, great prices, and being treated like family! When is the last time you said that about your mechanic? For me, it was EVERY TIME at Balistreri Auto.
While rotating the tires, Tony noticed a problem just starting with the connection of the stabilizer bar. Nothing urgent, but Tony showed it to me now because he knows that I live on a limited fixed income and I will need some time to save money for the repair. That’s how you know how much they really care about their customers. They take time to get to know you, actually listen when you are having a conversation.

I am fortunate to live just a few miles from Balistreri’s, but that really doesn’t matter because I would drive from anywhere in western PA for service this great!

I have a 1970 plymouth duster that stopped running. I couldn't get anybody to look at it. I called them up and they had it towed to their shop that day. There were many problems that needed to be resolved. All I cam day is the car is running perfectly now. They were very detail oriented and did a fantastic job. They also kept my vehicle inside at night showed true concern for the well being of my car. My advice if you have any automotive work that needs done they are honest and will not price gouge you.. Tony I am very happy with the way its running. Thanks againclassic car or otherwise this is the place to go.

After my car overheated, it needed serious repairs including a new water pump and thermostat (which required removal and replacement of the timing belt and the oil and anti-freeze drained and replaced). My mom recommended that I take my car to Tony Balistreri in Jefferson Hills. She highly recommended Tony and stated that from her experience, he is trustworthy, affordable, and fair. Tony fit us in to his schedule the day after Thanksgiving to diagnose the car which was greatly appreciate. He tried his best to minimize the labor cost and informed me of his current special which reduced the cost almost $300. He was sincere and understood I am a struggling college student trying to make ends meet. I am so glad I took my car to Tony. I highly recommend Balistreri Auto Service in Jefferson Hills if you are looking for an honest, dependable, and fair-priced auto mechanic.

Great experience. Very professional, quality work, fair price. Brought both my cars this year after learning that COVID19 shut down my original mechanic. These guys are way more professional, and ethical when it comes to the work and the prices. I will always use this place for now on!

My brother takes his vehicles to Balistreri Auto Service, so when it was time for my dad to get his two vehicles inspected, we decided to try them out. Both my father and I were pleased with the experience. Tony, the owner, is easy to work with, explains everything in detail and shows you what needs repaired on your vehicle and explains why it may need repaired and/or replaced. It was a positive experience!
