Nice sleek interior design. The menu appeared to be carefully crafted. Portions were just right, food was fresh well prepared, and a good plate presentation. Drinks were delicious; a good menu of featured options and a full bar if you have a personal favorite. Really impressed with this restaurant in general; it's just what NK needs.

We’ve been at BOTL multiple times and it’s always good. We went tonight and we had the special turkey sandwich, it was an open face sandwich with bacon and a cheese sauce and we also split the pasta that they spin in a cheese wheel and we added the blackened shrimp. We also had the sausage mushroom soup. All was absolutely incredible. Our waitress was so personable and nice. Some of the best food and service we’ve ever had. Definitely 5 stars

Helly was an incredible soul in an even cozier atmosphere. Knowledgeable, welcoming, positive, and that's just the feel as you wait for the main event. Trust me, you're going to want to give this place a try; pictured here is the rib tacos with potatoes (Helly recommended and she was spot on about their deliciousness!) Also pictured is the big smiles after our stellar meals and service. Such a great place! I promised I'll be back for the pasta and I'll be following up with these wonderful souls and delectable dishes! :)

This place is incredible in all aspects!! The food is phenomenal, I have had nearly everything on the menu, and it’s all amazing!! The drinks are probably my favorite thing about the place with the servers being a close second. I love the vibe!! If you haven’t tried it, you don’t know what you’re missing!! I can go on and on, but just try it!!

Love this place. I've had the signature pasta dish, the wedge salad, and the steak sandwich and they've all been perfect. The creme brulee cheesecake is delicious as well. Service is always very good. I like the cucumber water, it's refreshing. They have tons of different drinks too, a huge wall of liquor. And they usually run some interesting specials.

Phenomenal lunch! The best in New Ken. My friend said his Reuben was one of the best he’s had, and I would say the same for my grilled chicken sandwich. Highest quality, good atmosphere, great music, friendly owner & staff. Hellie our server was terrific.

A definite sleeper spot with incredible food and a cozy atmosphere. Try the pasta, Where are you gonna find an authentic cheese wheel? 😀 drinks top notch and the service is on point!

This is a hidden gem! My husband and I went to another bar/restaurant in the area who closed their kitchen early and ended up finding Botl instead. The service was absolutely excellent and the food options are unique and delicious. I got the muscles which were cooked perfectly and my husband's filet & portobello sandwich was amazing, the meat melts in your mouth. The bartender was extremely attentive and all of the employees were very friendly and polite. We will definitely be back and I would suggest this spot to anyone who would like quality food and good service in an uncontencious environment.

Just go. You'll feel like you're in some hip, quant, downtown location. Like you're part of something special. The food is unbelievable. The craft beer selection is the best we've found anywhere, and the cocktails are fantastic. Hands down our favorite place to sneak out to when we have a spare evening. The crème brulee cheesecake is my dream desert - all time favorite desert anywhere. Check out their Facebook page for amazing pix of the food and cocktails - it really comes out looking just as good, and tasting even better. My photo skills are terrible, and don't do the food justice, but I'll attach a few anyways.

Stopped in for a quick business lunch with a group of 6. The atmosphere is upscale and a touch rustic. Very welcoming. The staff got our order and food plating fairly quickly given the crowd present. Everything was fresh and prepared well. Parking could be a bit better, however, it wouldn't keep me from coming back. A real hidden gem!

I had the wedge salad with steak,med. The steak melts in your mouth and has a nice ,subtle seasoning. The combination of the candied bacon and fire roasted tomatoes was exquisite.
My boyfriend had the Cacio e pepe.I believe this used to be a special of theirs but now it is on the menu. You can get it with chicken, steak, or salmon for an upcharge but it is well worth it. I can't say enough to make you understand the how this tastes other than your palate will certainly be pleased. We love watching them twirl the pasta around in the Pecorini cheese.
We have already decided on our next trip here we are going to share the cacio e pepe and get dessert!

Stopped by for our first time on a Friday night. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Service was excellent from Amanda and we didn't the catch the name of the other server helping us, but he was great too. When I had a question about the flavors on a few of the sour beers that he couldn't answer off the top of his head, he ran to the cooler and brought several cans out so we could look at the labels and pick. We were shown that level of care and attention by everyone there. Drinks were delicious, food was excellent and prepared quickly. Prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back!

Managed to walk in and get a table at 4:30p on a Saturday but while we were there, staff put reservation cards on every table for 6p. They actually had to turn a few people away or suggest sitting at the bar. So reserve on their site if you're going on a Friday or Saturday. The staff was attentive, the food was excellent and the cocktails were strong. Compared to other local spots, they're pricey but their quality is far higher than anything else around here. Get the crab cakes! We live within walking distance so this is a welcome addition to our date night options. I would not recommend bringing kids and this is not a place for watching the game as we didn't see any TVs (and didn't mind)! We will definitely return.

I have been there twice and I got the Black and Blue Burger on my first trip and the Cuban on my second. Both meals were out of this world!

The reviews speak for itself. I mean, amazing Cacio e Pepe made properly in a cheese wheel, served hot, with perfectly cooked and perfect temperature filet tips on top. I mean wow. Impressive. Most places will serve lukewarm or even cold cacio e pepe especially when it’s in a cheese wheel. So it being served hot is very impressive.

Then the drinks are also phenomenal! Super fresh and delicious. Perfectly balanced, maybe a bit on the sweet side. But still… amazing.

Honestly, this is in my top three favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh. I will be back.

In town for a wedding and will definitely go back. We had delicious drinks and the Salmon BLT and Niciose Salad. Really spectacular and filling. The crème brûlée cheesecake was a highlight as we watched the chef torch it in front of us. A real gem off the beaten path of PGH proper and the perfect date night.

My favorite place to eat when I am In Town. Everything is made from scratch and so yummy!! I have never had such a great eating experience than here. The food is so creative and to die for!

We wanted to try a new place and was very happy we found this one. The food was amazing and our waitress Dana was great! We know her from another place that she worked and was very surprised when we saw her here. Everybody was exceptional!

Really nice little place you definitely wouldn't expect in New Ken. The service is spot on, the food is beyond reproach and the Atmosphere is cozy and lively at the same time. Had the signature Cacio De Pepe with salmon, the salmon was cooked to perfection and the pasta was well perfection as well. Finished that off with a Creme Brulee Cheescake, better than anything Cheesecake Factory serves at a higher cost. The cucumber water that comes as the waitress comes to get drink orders is a nice touch as well. They also have a menu option to buy the kitchen a round of drinks, added that at the end since the food was everything we could of asked for, plus some.

We will definitely be back and bringing others as well!
