Always great food, always great service. Fun and creative yet simple , delicious drinks. Very creative menu items that are absolutly delicious. They always have the game on so going during the week is a great idea.

UPDATE 3/5/18 - My wife was craving some Honest John's so we headed there with our new born baby Ace! We sat at the bar and had the best morning breakfast (Pictures attached)! We met John himself, and had great conversation while awaiting breakfast. The food was awesome! Staff was great and we all enjoyed ourselves yet again! We can't wait to go back!

My wife and I came here Sunday morning because we were excited to try a new place. We were not disappointed. Food was amazing and the portions were like our waitress said 'BIG'. Excellent omelette (that I could customize), pancakes, bacon.....I could go on but you get the point! We can't wait to come back again!

Affordable, good beer selection, not many TV's, good place to be with small groups, family! Gem of a find along the main road in homestead. parking on main street right out front. they have a courtyard with tables and umbrellas, good for groups. we had 10. quick service and super cool local feel. Try them out one night, or a weekend.
Rarely do i eat salad, but tried the wedge salad. super crisp, fresh, just enough dressing with bacon and ham and cooked baby tomatoes. Super tasty and filling!

We stopped by for Brunch on a Sunday (the only time that they serve it). Taylor and John were very welkoming from the start. The food was extraordinary, yeah, more than the ordinary. I had an eggs benedict with smoked salmon and hollandaise, with frites and a magnificent aioli. Definitely a recommendation.

We had a great first experience. We sat at the bar and the bar tender was fantastic. Very attentive. We ordered the mussels to start and were pretty blown away. They came in a delicious creamy sauce with an abundance of bread. I had the eggplant for my entree, which was great. It just needed a little salt. My husband got the ricotta dumplings which were fantastic. It was a simple but flavorful dish. We can’t wait to come back!!

Delicious! Didn’t know much about this restaurant before going here for lunch, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. We had a hummus/ feta/red pepper and fried flour tortilla plate, along with a mixed greens salad with goat cheese and pecans. Both were delicious! I’d definitely order both plates again. Hummus was paired nicely with the fried flour tortilla triangles (which were light and airy). My partner had a pumpkin draft beer and I had a delicious Spanish Coffee with Kaluha, cream, and some other alcohol. Inside has several tables, and there’s an outside seating are on the back patio, along with a nice bar seating area. Nice restaurant, very tasty, highly recommend.

My parents went here first and told me how great it was and said we must go together when I’m back in town. So we did.. and WOW I was blown away. We had the Brussels sprouts and fritz for an appetizer and both were phenomenal. I had some Moroccan chicken stew for my meal which was to die for and also healthy! Very paleo friendly. Lastly we had spice cake for dinner 😊 not quite as healthy.. but definitely worth it. I can’t recommend this place enough.. the service was great too!

Great atmosphere for food, drinks and fun. Excellent customer service. Food was fabulous! The brussels sprouts were some of the best I ever had! And, if you're looking for a good burger, try the 'Honest John' burger was AMAZING! If you're looking for a great pub, you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I and another couple went to Honest John's for the first time last night. It was an all around wonderful experience. The food and drinks were creative and delicious. The service was top notch......friendly, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was modern yet cozy. We did not sit at the bar but it was hopping all night. Parking wasn't too bad. Found a place easily on a side street.

I've been there three times so far, twice for dinner once for lunch. Everything I've eaten has been exceptional. I'm excited to try the rest of the choices because I'm so confident in the menu. The staff is pleasant, the owner is great. The venue can be a bit loud at times and the rustic wood tables tend to wobble but even so I have nothing but praise for this place.

This is a hidden gem and the centerpiece of the neighborhood. Food was excellent and everything ordered by our table was accurately prepared. I say this because the burger I ordered was juicy and could not have been more perfectly medium. Every dish had a unique flair with fun, complex flavors. Service was fast and attentive. Wide selection of beers for every palate. We will be back next time we visit Pittsburgh!

Great time here. Had beef, pork, and chicken tacos and they were all on point! So were the deviled eggs!

The owners are SO sweet and care deeply about the experience of their patrons. We felt cared for and like we were a part of the family here. We will surely be coming back!

The food is great, the staff is attentive, but ambiance was a little lacking in the large side room. Our server did an excellent job, but the space is large with hard surfaces and little to absorb some of the big bouncing sound of other dinners. If you're looking for a good meal before a movie in the Waterfront or a concert at Carnegie Library this is a perfect spot. If you have sensitive hearing because you wear hearing aids or something, I would suggest you eat in the smaller main restaurant area.

We just visited Honest John's for the first time over the weekend. The service was good and the wait staff was super nice, bathrooms very clean and food was so good! I had the candied BLT and can't wait to try that again!!! We also had a couple of drinks and for the 4 if us our bill wasn't bad it was under $70. I definitely recommend that you at least try it once!

Great place to eat! All of the staff were friendly and our food was delicious! Definitely try the fried brussel sprouts appetizer. Yummy! I enjoyed the fish tacos and the spicy black bean soup was very good. Can't wait for a return visit!

Food is delicious! The Chef here used to work at Cure in Lawrenceville - the menu is eclectic but pocket friendly and SO good! They also have a great patio and atmosphere. I went for lunch and will be going back to try their brunch menu at some point. Well worth the stop if you're by the Waterfront in Homestead! Literally right off of the Homestead Grays bridge.

My girlfriend and I came here on a whim before a movie to check out their restaurant week menu. We were a little wary due to its location, but it had a very nice look and the menu looked delicious. The staff on arrival was extremely friendly. We took a nice table in the back. I got the flash fried Brussel sprouts and the beef sugo. It was some of the best food I’ve had this week (and we had previously been to Eddie Vs and Monterey Bay). I was so impressed! I will definitely be back.

John and the staff are amazing. John went above and beyond to help my 2 year old son get his iPad working so that my mom and I could enjoy a leisurely brunch. That was such a thoughtful gesture. The food is so fresh and the service is impeccable. Highly recommend!
