There are not enough stars to describe the service that I was provided with my dad’s passing. To begin I was never pressured to buy more than we could afford, nor up sold on products that we didn’t need.
Next, Dan took all of the hassles and incidental things off of my plate. He contacted the VA, social security, the church, the cemetery, the military honor guard. I wrote one check the day of the funeral service and he made certain that everyone was paid and tipped. All of this was accounted for in an itemized bill with no surprises. He even tried to alert me to the HIGH obituary costs from having it in print.
The facilities had ample parking, no steps, comfortable, large rooms to accommodate our large boisterous family, and an area to grab a coffee. If there is ever a time to have reliable service it’s when you are grieving. In addition, I have to mention as a mortician, his craftsmanship was a work of art. My dad was laid to rest looking dignified, peaceful and as he had looked months before he passed. I am very grateful my dad had chosen to be here.

Dan Wright was truly awesome facilitating our family's unique needs during a challenging and emotional journey. He was attentive, caring, reassuring, and above all, patient! He's a top notch professional in his field. I highly recommend Maurice L. Knee Funeral Home.

Dan helped our family with my mother in laws funeral and my daughters. He is caring, very understanding and helpful in a time when those are exactly what a family needs! He helped with the flowers, the cemetery and of course all that is done at the funeral home itself. Again he was a great help to my family not once but twice in 6 months. He almost feels like a part of the family if not atleast a good friend!

We recently went to Knee funeral home for my dad’s viewing and funeral needs. Dan was so good to my Mom and family. He was attentive and communicated everything we would need to know. Also, Knee Funeral Home is tastefully decorated and furnished with a wide open viewing area as well as a private family area with a place for food and drink or to just rest.

Dan Wright helped me tremendously through a bad time after my mother passed. He helped me make some decisions and even though we weren't having a viewing or graveside service, he took care of her and even went to the gravesite with her and waited as she was buried. He even went the extra mile and helped me get a veterans marker on my dad's grave, something I had been trying to figure out for years. Nicest guy on the planet!

Dan and staff are so caring and truly make sure in your time of grief that everything is taken care of. Maurice Knee funeral home is absolutely beautiful I’m am thankful we Chose this place for our mothers funeral service .

This is the second time I have had the pleasure of working with the people of Maurice L Knee Funeral Home. Both of my parents were living out of state at the time of their death. Planning a funeral from out of state and over the phone is not an easy thing to do. When my father passed away we did the preplanning for my mother. Since that time I have meet with them and finalized other aspects of the arrangements. When my mother passed twelve years later, I was very well accquainted with the decissions that needed to be made. Dan and Pat were most caring and cooperative. If I needed any help with arrangements or need to change or check on something they were always ready to do what I needed. They took care of things, that in this very emotional time I might have overlooked. I have the highest reguard and respect for them. I feel I can call them friends and would recommend their services to all.
