Be sure to visit the grave of Thomas Enright who was 1 of 3 soldiers to be considered the first American to die in WWI. It was great getting to see the old school brick road in the cemetery the day I brought a framed photo of James Bethel Gresham, which had already been to both Gresham and Hays' graves, to the grave of Enright.

Its great if you’re looking for a cemetery ,however, I and a lot of others are looking for Lycium of St Marys Basketball Trny also located here. It is a 103 year old building with recently renovated basketball court and used by Catholic Basketball Leagues in Pittsburgh!

Was profiled today and asked to leave for longboarding. Been downhill longboarding since before the pandemic at this place, was a beautiful safe place to be, few cars and great hills for learning and expanding my skills. Was approached today by a random person, I am assuming maintenance or manager, in a cart with a female employee with him. I waved as he drove up after passing my wife who has been photographing me for fun. He didnt wave back and abruptly told me no skateboarding here, he repeated himself and I just said OK. Someone must have complained about seeing me skate, but all passers by I waved and spoke too and never have skated when ppl are near so no way to know who, probably just another Karen trying ruin my wife and my day. I was very confused because I have been here for so many years, my first slide was in this cemetery in 2020. Very disappointed and will never find a place as beautiful and safe to be and learn my favorite sport. I wish I knew what I could have done to make whoever feel more comfortable but also don't feel like I should apologize for my hobbies, sorry they arent the same as those who complained. Or maybe the guy just wanted to look good in front of a female employee. All I know is one of the employees Ray was always very kind to me and has waved back everytime I see him, will miss the times at this beautiful place but will have to move one.
