Went wedding dress shopping with my mom and sisters, and Alyssia was my stylist. She was absolutely amazing! She was very attentive and just made the whole experience memorable. They have a variety of styles, colors, add-on options and even an on site seamstress. Brides to be, if you are looking for an intimate experience while wedding dress shopping, this is the place!

I went to many dress shops and easily tried on between 50-75 wedding dresses. Out of the 12 dress shops I visited on the hunt for “the one”, I got the best customer service at URB bridal. I felt that Alysse and Rebecca truly listened to me as I tried on dresses, took direction and feedback when I explained what I liked or didn’t like about a particular gown, and they eventually brought me my dream wedding dress that was exactly what I was looking for and fit my venue perfectly. They had many different sized gowns in different styles. Being a plus size bride, I loved that I didn’t have to worry about whether they would have a dress that comfortable fit me and I was able to imagine what a dress would actually look like on my body when I tried it on. When they say they are a body positive and size inclusive bridal shop- they mean it. They also helped me choose a truly breathtaking veil that they were able to custom-make to compliment my dress. Many of our wedding guests commented that the veil and dress took their breath away. The alterations process also went very smoothly! Alysse and Beverly were truly a dream to work with and my dress fit me like a glove that day. I would highly recommend URB bridal and the staff to any bride!

Don’t even think about going anywhere else!!! I don’t have words. This was the most magical experience of my life. I loved the safety of a private room, and how absolutely adorable it was. My stylist was THE expert in dresses, customization, and made me feel so comfortable. I didn’t feel like I was in a rush to make a decision. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I said yes to the dress and I CANNOT wait to wear it walking down the aisle. I was able to pick my favorite aspects of all the dresses I tried on and create my own dress, just for me! It also did not break the bank. The girls I brought with me were blown away by the price. 10/10 would recommend URB to any bride in the Pittsburgh area.

Best bridal experience ever! I had many dress appointments before my appointment at URB and was becoming so discouraged and disappointed in my experience at those other shops. At other shops, the associates were pushy, unkind, and didn’t make me feel important or beautiful… but i cannot say enough positive things about my experience at URB and my stylist, Grace. She was so encouraging and made me feel like she really cared about finding my perfect dress. She was even able to help me completely customize my dress! I will be recommending the shop to everyone i know and i am so relieved that Grace were able to make my feel beautiful and worthy of wonderful bridal experience.

This is for all you plus size brides like myself, who are looking for a good bridal shop that will have bigger size dresses to try on. They also have smaller sizes as well. They were friendly, and just welcoming! Alysse and Grace were awesome!! They are the two who helped me. The whole experience was amazing! They offer you champagne, pop, or water and they have chocolates! Book your appt there. Seriously go! You will not be disappointed. Show them/tell them what you want and they will make your dream dress come to reality!!! I can not give them enough stars!! I said YES to the dress a few weeks ago. URB Bridal & Formal is amazing! I'd recommend this store to anyone! There was a sign when I walked in that welcomed me. Alysse took my ideas along with hers and I created my dream dress. I got a bottle of champagne to take home as well. If your a bride go there or know someone getting married tell them go here! After shopping around at a few stores this store was the BEST by far. I had the best experience here. If you could rate higher then 5stars I would! They took time to help me, listened to my likes and dislikes. The bridal space to try dresses on was big for alot of guests to come share the experience with you.

I went to several other bridal boutiques, but this one is different. Alysse is so creative and incredibly knowledgeable. She would come up with ideas on how to make the dress I loved even more special. The shop can really customize anything you want. She made such a stressful (but fun) experience even better. Any questions I had throughout the process, they responded to right away. I could not recommend this place enough.

Alysse and Rebekah were amazing. The whole experience was so easy and relaxing. They made me feel so confident. They made sure my dress was perfect even helping in alterations giving their opinions. Definitely recommend this place, not only are the dresses affordable but they are also extremely well made, a dress at David’s bridal would be double the price and half as good. Thank you both for helping me find the perfect dress!!!!

This bridal shop is everything you could ask for in finding your wedding dress. While at the appointment, they listened and did everything they could to find the dress that was perfect. They can even customize their dresses! I had an appointment at another store prior to this appointment, my family, friends, and I were disappointed. We felt looked over and just another number, this appointment changed everything in a matter of minutes. I would whole heartedly recommend this boutique to anyone. They are absolutely wonderful! (And yes I absolutely found my dress!)

URB Bridal was probably these best experience I have heard had shopping, let alone for my perfect dress! They made the process simple and so absolutely enjoyable. My first experience shopping for dresses was not great but this sister owned store was absolutely amazing!

This was the second store I choose to try on dresses. (I have well over a year to pick my dream dress, I didn’t pick it here on my first trip) Elise was welcoming, we brought my 5 year old niece with us and she was more than accommodating for us. If you’re looking for great atmosphere and someone who is going to listen to what you envision, you should make a stop here. They can customize almost anything you want for your dream dress.

Alysse is wonderful! She can even make an old lady like me look nice (grandmother of the bride,). The dresses are beautiful and there's a surprisingly large selection for a small shop. My granddaughter, daughter and I all found gorgeous dresses and had a great time doing it.

The experience was absolutely amazing! I felt so welcome and loved the inviting atmosphere. The staff made the dress shopping experience so relaxing and fun! Can’t say enough good things about this shop! I would definitely recommend this to all brides!

I was asked to be a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding. Being plus size I was worried I wouldn’t find the perfect dress that fit right and looked nice. I came across URB on Instagram and decided to inquire. I am so thankful that I did! Alysse was very helpful, kind and accommodating. She helped me find my perfect dress! I had an absolutely wonderful experience at URB today!! I was very nervous being a big girl that I wouldn't find a dress but both girls were so nice and welcoming and made me feel so comfortable during the whole experience. They had many dresses ready for me to try on and if I requested something different from what they had pulled they went and pulled that from there inventory. They had such a large selection and I left there with my dressed picked out. 💕 they were very accommodating to what I wanted and tool their time to help me find my perfect dressm I highly recommended.

I had the best experience ever at URB. Today was my very first day trying on dresses and URB was my third shop of the day. The other two were underwhelming, especially for a plus size girl like myself. From the moment I stepped in the door of URB I felt like I had known the employees/owners for years. They made me feel so comfortable and so welcome. The dresses they pulled for me actually fit, they were flattering, and they were insanely unique. I didn’t plan on purchasing my dress today, but when I put my dress on, I immediately knew I had to have it. They weren’t pushy whatsoever, they took all my measurements, and made sure my gown would have everything I wanted. I left feeling like the happiest girl in the world. I’m so thankful for URB for that feeling.

I just took my daughter to URB for her custom prom dress design consultation. All of the ladies are amazing and we are so excited to see the final product, I was surprised what they were able to make for her dream gown. I didn't expect much but they will be making her a gorgeous hand beaded sparkly gown and I think it will be so special for her senior prom. She brought her photo inspirations and they created something unique and beautiful that my daughter loved. I was worried the process would be hard, but they have made the design process so easy, and I am so glad that the gown will be made to her measurements. I cant wait for her to wear her prom gown and I am so glad that they just opened in our area.

Absolutely loved ny experience here! Alysse was the sweetest, most kind person I have ever met. She was not pushy or rude, she genuinely made myself and family feel great when I was trying on dresses. The vibe is wonderful and genuine, it was amazing. I recommend everyone to get their dress here because they truly make you feel beautiful.

Small shop that caters to plus size brides by appointment only. Alysse was very friendly and helpful with showing us the different customizations available on the dresses if we wanted them. She was not at all pushy and never tried to hurry us through the appointment. My daughter ended up buying one of the gowns that Alysse recommended after trying on several others there. Their prices are very reasonable even with adding a few customizations. They also offer several financing options which was helpful. This was such a fun experience for our group, thank you again Alysse

My daughter is having her wedding dress made from a sketch she drew up, not only are they making the dress custom they worked with us on a payment plan. They say with my daughter and went from top to bottom of her sketch to pick the fabric and details she wanted making sure everything was exactly what she wanted as she noted everything. When we were calling around to get an appointment to have the dress made they were the only place that was willing to even sit down with us let alone take on the project. The price is absolutely unbeatable for the dress they are customizing. I am so grateful for these ladies, they are making my baby girls dream dress a reality. They are so polite, patient and passionate. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.
