My father and mother recently died within 10 months of each-other and both were laid out at Striffler Funeral Home in White Oak, PA. My siblings and I couldn't have been more satisfied choosing Striffler. Sue, Adam, and staff were extremely caring and professional. Everything agreed too regarding the viewing and funeral procession was completed beyond our expectations for both funerals. Also, the White Oak facility is absolutely beautiful inside and outside.

I would like to thank Sue Striffler and her son Adam. From the moment I called Strifflers Funeral Home, they were very sympathetic and helpful. My brother passed unexpectedly at the age of 51 with no life insurance and no money. They not only worked with me, but they helped plan an amazing visitation and beautiful service. I am so thankful I called Strifflers Funeral Home. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants a sympethic and professional team to help them in their time of need.

It is hard to believe that it has been over a month since our beloved, husband, father and Pappou, James H. Stratigos, left this earth. As we reflect back, there are many moments that we cannot remember, but one thing we will never forget was the feeling of knowing that our loved one was in good hands. Sue, Adam and the entire Striffler staff were very attentive to our needs from the moment my beloved took his last breath until he was laid to eternal rest. Initially, we were overwhelmed, lost, and in a very sad and dim place, but they shed a bright light of support and direction. What was a very anxious and stressful time, was made easier by their sensitive approach. They not only answered all of our questions, but also, provided us with excellent advice, suggestions, and pertinent information so that we could make the best decisions for our family. At every stage, we never felt pressured or rushed; they treated us, and our loved one, with the utmost care, respect, and compassion. Our anxiety begin to lessen as we realized that our wishes and requests were their greatest concern. From the selection of the casket, to the viewing and funeral, their service was compassionate, empathetic, and professional. The viewing was very organized and they were wonderful at directing the many loving, friends and family that came to offer their respect, prayers, and condolences. In addition, it was a relief to know that you made sure all of the guests, flowers, and gifts were documented, which prepared us for the thank you notes in the months to follow. We can never thank you enough for encouraging us to forward pictures to your website. It was comforting reminiscing about happier times and knowing they will forever be in our hearts and on your website too! We appreciate the attention made to every detail during our traditional Greek Orthodox funeral service and later at the cemetery. Jimmy was a veteran in the Army Reserves, he was given a respectful ”Taps” sent off with a flag and military salute, may his memory be eternal+
You and your staff made every effort to reduce the stress and anxiety of his passing and for this, and so much more, we are grateful. Needless to say, Striffler provided a service, which was second to none and we would, without a doubt, recommend them.

We've know the Stiffler family of funeral homes for decades. They have always been a caring and helpful resource to families as well as the community at large. We called several months before our son's passing and Sue and her staff were very helpful with helping us make all the appropriate pre-need arrangements. Couldn't have been better. When the time came for our son's funeral, again Sue, Teresa and the whole staff were there to help us plan not only the derails that we thought important but suggested things that we had not considered. Never in the entire process was there a hard sell feeling. Every detail was taken care of. They truly were there to help us in a difficult time. It relieved a lot of stress during a sad time for our family. They have our family's thanks and we would highly recommend them to anyone in need.

Strifflers handled my mother's funeral arrangements. Sue Striffler and staff were very caring and considerate of my mother's wishes as well as the family needs. They went to great effort and put COVID safety protocols in place. When there is a need, we highly recommend them.

The entire staff at Strifflers was extremely helpful, professional, and kind during the very difficult time of the unexpected loss of my cousin. We faced some difficulties and confusion that Strifflers helped greatly with, and they really put us at ease. We cannot recommend them enough.

My dear friend passed away and we wanted the funeral outside during these coronavirus times but it was so hot plans were changed last minute. Within minutes the room was beautifully set up and social distancing was able to be maintained. Sue could not have been more understanding and accommodating. I cannot say enough for the service she provides.

I called Strifflers in McKeesport, PA and asked them about their pet cremation services as my beloved family member (Jack Earl) our 8 & 1/2 year old beagle dog passed away on July 24, 2020 at 12:28pm from kidney failure. My dog Jack now has a Heavenly birthday on my birthday. July 24, 2020 will always be a date to remember and celebrate 2 birthdays. They were very nice as always and their price was very reasonable. A communal cremation for a pet where you dont get the ashes to keep is a great price.
This is the 1st time I had to ever do this sort of thing for my dog and I will definitely be using this place again for my other dog whenever she passes away. Sue Striffler Galaski is a friend of my family and she is a great person to help anyone with their own personal issues with needing funeral services for a loved one or a friend.
I wrapped Jack's body into a blanket put him in a garbage bag and took him to the funeral home and all I had to do was place him in a bin/box and sign paperwork, pay, they gave me a reciept and I was out of there within 5 mins. Before I left I just told Jack goodbye and I loved him and I left.
I even asked what happens to his ashes whenever they cremate him. They told me his ashes will get scattered in a park. I'm glad for that. At least he will be at peace in his final resting place.
I was there with Jack all thru his final hours and watched him exit this life as he went to be with Jesus in His Kingdom of Heaven.
It was the most emotional and breathtaking and heartbreaking experience I have ever witnessed.
Having Strifflers do a cremation service for pets is the most absolutely awarding thing any funeral home could ever do for a pet parent.
Not only are they nice but they give you options too and they even give you a price of how much it will cost you for the service you want.
I couldn't have found a better place than Strifflers. I trust this funeral home 100% for any and all of my funeral needs whether it would be for a loved one, a friend or a pet.
