Well my buddy Chris had the serafina which is chicken mushrooms and vodka he said it was delicious. I had the gnocchi with sausage The gnocchi was really good the red sauce was just plain average sauce

One of my favorite local spots! The food never misses, and they always have daily specials. The service is great and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in an old school Italian restaurant. The gnocchi with Gorgonzola cream sauce is my absolute favorite, I get it every time. Other favorites include the greens & beans, Della’s Spring Diavola, and the wedding soup! Very affordable and great quality.

Friendly and helpful service. Place is small but so worth it. Definitely a hidden gem!

This is a little gem of a restaurant, tucked in Crafton, close to the border of Pittsburgh. I went there for lunch with three other friends. The restaurant doesn't seem to have a special luncheon menu, but the regular menu has a number of items in the $10 range, which makes it affordable. We all got paninis that came with a lovely pasta side salad. I also got a dinner pasta to-go. Everyone loved their sandwich, and the diners around us were enjoying Pizza, a crab cake salad (which was the special of the day) and soup. I would return again and again if I had the opportunity. The server was a delightful woman who was managing the small restaurant on her own. I took one point off the atmosphere because the restroom is upstairs on the second floor; it is not convenient nor accessible for anyone with climbing/walking issues. This is a terrific little restaurant.

Extremely delicious dinner. We had chicken fettuccine, bolognese and pepperoni pizza. Don't forget to bring your own wine! Thank you for the great food and service

Excellent Italian food! Presentation, taste, and value was exceptional! Selective menu with both classic and modern Italian cuisine.

Be warned, they are BYOB, so make sure you bring your favorite wine. $5 corking fee, which is more than fair.

A MUST on my list of Pittsburgh eateries. 6/5.

A very intimate place. It's BYO and they don't take reservations. Good Italian food made like your family would make it. Service is friendly and it adds to the casual atmosphere. The pasta sauces are Joe's Mom's recipes and are delicious. Sandwiches are great.

Absolutely fantastic! Best Italian meal I can remember - and I never forget a great meal.

If you have not been here, what are you waiting for? The food is delicious. Homemade good Italian food. The polenta is my favorite and then beans and greens you’ll never eat any as good and always be comparing them to other restaurants beans and greens! Servers are friendly. The place is small. Not fancy. They do have a few tables outside in the warm weather! Only negative thing I can say….They do not serve desert!

The appetizers were very good, the Greens and Beans were delicious and a huge portion. The warm bread loaf and dipping sauce are great.The Scioligo was fantastic, best I've had in a long time. I prefer the red. It was a bit pricey for the dinner specials, but they are a large portion, and I would recommend and definitely go back. I've been back several times now and always consistently good. Veal Parm very good. The Gorgonzola cream sauce is delicious as well.

Went a couple weeks ago with a family of 10. They got us a table quick. Waitress was great! Food came quickly. The Seafood linguini was delicious.

A little run down, but very homey. This has got that Italian Momma's kitchen vibe. Stopped in for lunch with no wait.

What a wonderful eclectic experience. Great staff, almost like your sitting at the door to grandma's kitchen. The food is authentic italian down to the white or red base sauces. BYOB is nice especially as a group for wine tastings, only $5 cork fee. Parking is easy.

This was our first visit … and we will definitely be back! The food is delicious! The pizza is unbelievably awesome.. great menu choices.. old family recipes.. The staff is so friendly… Very cozy, comfortable feeling … Love that it’s in a very old building..which we love .. can’t wait to try out more menu items there !….

I positively LOVE this place- came for the homemade Gnoccis with Gorgonzola Sauce and I was so disappointed that they were out! Our server was delightful and convinced me that the crab cakes were very popular & she was spot on- I’ve been here no less than 10 times in the 2 yrs since I’ve discovered this gem. It’s small, but packs a huge punch, from the bread to the dessert and all the delicious in between. . . I seek out these private owned places and this is by far my favorite go-to!

Such an amazing place to go and have a nice dinner. Most people would say paying $15 for a pasta is too much. But when you see and get a taste of Sarafino's pasta. You'll know, its well worth the money.
Portions are excellent.

Daisey is an AMAZING waitress.
Highly recommend everyone to go here at least once. Love it.

Sarafino's - the best Italian restaurant in Crafton. Quaint family atmosphere. You must try the Gorgonzola sauce. It's the best. There's always a wait - but it's well worth it.

Best Italian restaurant in Pittsburgh. Hands down. No further questions. Always ask what the special is. My wife's prawn and crab Rissotto was fire.

Best Italian food anywhere. Makes Olive Garden look like McDonalds. I always get the panini, any of them. The people who work there are very friendly!

Great food and great service, only gave atmosphere 4 stars as the seating is a little tight. Overall great place.
