Parking & Access for Birdboro Waters

Beautiful hike down to Haycreek and back. There are no trail markings so some people may find themselves wandering around. I don’t believe there are any maps online either. 11/4/2018

Hiked here in general location in past, always finding different trails. Seems like their making new trails all the time. Trails are for both Hiking and Biking. This time we went encountered lots of different fungi. Highly recommend.

This is small parking area for a series of access trails which lead to multiple points of interest. Our trip was some sloped/steep areas consisting of a drop of ~200 feet. There were stones sticks and sand (mud if it's raining season) in the small winding trails which led out to a water reservoir or large pond small man made lake, there was a small dam/spillway which led water in a stream away. The area birdsborough water preserve has the most single area of open space in South Eastern Pennsylvania. It was beautiful w birds chirping, so much shade from the heavily wooded trails kept us comfortable as well.

Great place and I'll forever miss it. One Love gone forever. See you on the other side.
