We had a great experience with GPP. We unfortunately ran into sewage problems shortly after moving into our new home and they were a huge help. The work was done in a timely manner and their guys are all professional and respectful. Zach was a huge help and a great communicator throughout the process. I would recommend them any day.

Our water heater failed and starting flooding the basement in the middle of the week. I called Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing to see if they could get a person out to us quickly and they were able to come out the day of. Zyan was great! He was able to figure out that we needed a new water heater and was able to get it installed that day. He also answered any and all questions that I had. He was really helpful and informative. I will definitely be using Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing for future plumbing needs!

Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing is a great company to deal with. I hired them twice in the past month or so. Both times they were quick to get someone out, their prices were reasonable, and the staff is friendly. Norm and Ryan were awesome this last time.

I booked for sewer camera test while getting the house I am buying inspected. The worker who came out arrived early and definitely exceeded expectations. Apparently the plumbing was different and so he could enter the sewer line through the standard way. After searching the property multiple times he went over some option, like moving the toilet that would give a less than idea exam before trying a drain. This worked and he was able to do the complete exam! I'm sure most plumbers would have walked away and said the test couldn't be done, he was determined to find a solution. He discussed all the options for a problem he found and went into great detail about the solutions. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for a plumber.

Went with Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing to work on the job we found during inspection. Was a bit of a rough go as the initial inspector made an oversight that definitely increased the difficulty of the job. It's unfortunate, but mistakes are gonna happen. What's important is they made it right. Inspector came back out, got the full scope and then made sure the other teams doing the lining work had what they needed. I wouldn't be surprised if the job ended up costing twice as much to them, but they kept the price the same for the initial quote. The teams also had to dig up a patio area under our deck and did a great job of putting it back together. While not without its frustrations the job got done and the team did good work from what I can tell and they owned what happened in an age I just expect anybody to pass the buck, so it was really nice to see that.

Had a home inspection for reviewing the sewage lines for a home purchase.

The plumber who arrived did a great job, talked us through everything that as happening, and when it was pretty difficult to get the camera through the sewer line kept trying and went through multiple solutions to ensure we got the information we needed so that we could go back for a seller's credit on the home purchase.

Greater Pittsburgh plumbing is phenomenal! Their employees are professional and honest. We’ve had them at our house for a huge pipe replacement under our house and for an HVAC issue that Brenton handled phenomenally! Very impressed at his willingness to find the issue and not just make us replace everything.

Their office staff is so kind and does a great job following up!

Awesome service. Had a huge job to do and Jose did it all quickly and efficiently. Went above and beyond, cleaning out the area where the equipment was replaced and removing badly thought - out pipes and fixing the whole layout for better future servicing of the system. Only other person who I know does as good a job is my brother who is also a master plumber. Would definitely call these guys back again and ask specifically for Jose.

Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing has done multiple jobs in my house now, and have always done a spectacular job. Want to give a current thank you to Ken Baker, the most recent plumber who came out - thanks for the hard work. Replaced multiple water lines in my basement that had multiple pinhole leaks. He was very pleasant to talk with and answered all of my questions. Even pointed out certain parts (like my water pressure regulator) that I should keep an eye on. Appreciate good contractors, and Ken is one of them. Will be coming back to them for more work in the future.

Stan arrived at the preapproved appointment time. Was very thorough on what needed done and is sending me an estimate today. Very efficient.

We used GPP to install a new hot water heater, then had them give us a second opinion on our sewer lateral work before selling, and they managed to complete the work in a pinch so we could make our closing date. The technician that reviewed the sewer lateral videos with me had actually done our sewer inspection when we bought two years prior, which shows me that these folks care about their work.

If you are within GPP’s service radius, there’s no need to go through another plumbing company, these folks are professional and fair.

Had a gas leak after an Oven repair. They came out, straight away, and worked tirelessly until it was completed. He even worked with the gas guy to confirm and make sure we were all set.

Zyan was the commensurate professional and gentlemen. We would be happy to call him again. He went above and beyond all of our expectations.

Greater Pittsburg arrived within 4 hours of call. Fixed a very difficult kitchen drain clog issue. Technician was very knowledgeable , professional, and got the job done. Will definitely use GP again.

Most pleasant, helpful service I've had. From the office, to Rob who performed the service, absolutely top-notch. This is the third time I've used Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing, and I've never been disappointed. Recommend highly.

Zach was lead on inspection and subsequent repair of sewer line. Appreciate his communicating findings, options to repair and status as work progressed. Crew started the job early w an opening in their schedule and finished in a timely manner. All calls to their office were handled quickly and professionally. Highly recommend.

The crew that came to replace sections of concrete was also very professional and friendly. Explained what they were doing. Kept a clean worksite. Again, nice job GPP!

Where to start? I have an electric tankless hot water heater. Apparently that's super weird for this region, depending on who you ask. Whatever jackwagon put it in before I bought my house never added flush valves either so I started having issues with it last year and made the mistake of engaging a plumber whose name is similar to, shall we say, Legweak Discomfort Problems, who derped around a bunch, charged me hundreds because they never really knew what was wrong and just replaced stuff hoping it would fix it, and got it kinda sorta working for only a couple more months. Then last week it finally died. I call said folks at Legweak and was basically told to call the manufacturer and figure out getting a replacement myself and they could probably swap it out. Then, when they were supposed to come to swap the water heaters, they called late in the day to say "Oops, sorry, can't make it. Maybe we can figure something out but no guarantees." despite it being a Friday and I had no hot water. Other folks I called either were like "LOL, no." or wanted to charge some exorbitant sum.

So, this is where Bob and Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing comes into play. I got their number from a realtor friend (Jeremy Thieroff, btw, in case anyone is reading plumbing reviews looking for a stellar realtor) and explained my plight to Bob. Not only were they able to fit me in that day and get the water heater swapped out, but the cost was incredibly fair and reasonable. After all the stresses with this hot water heater before, Bob and his crew were true superheroes. The glee that I had, when Legweak called me back finally about coming out, in telling them "No thanks. Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing has me covered...and Bob sends his regards." was unparalleled. It was like Game of Thrones but with pipe wrenches. Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing now sits on the Iron Toilet...or something. I dunno.

But seriously, I've dealt with several plumbers at various homes I've owned in Pittsburgh and, let me say, henceforth, I'll never call anyone but these guys.

Had a massive job. Lined a sewer pipe - 12 feet. They were prompt,clean,explained each step and relaid the cement BEAUTIFULLY. I can barely tell which cement was replaced! The communication from the office staff is excellent and super friendly. While on-site, they rehabbed 2, 1951 toilets. One is pink and the other blue, irreplaceable. Many plumbers had told me the toilets could not be fixed, Pittsburgh Plumbing did it! Lastly, their bid was over $2500 less the my other bid. I am so pleased with their professionalism! Thank you for your hard work.

Rob has done work at our home several times recently and is pleasant, conscientious, and knowledgeable. He does a great job and we are always glad to see him. He’s truly an asset to Greater PGH PHA!
