UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics - South Hills Pediatric Associates, Jefferson Hills Office

Literally GREATEST group of people!! I had my son with another group from the time he was born up until about a year/year an a half ago an I felt so ignored. The staff was always so miserable and rude. They made me feel horrible for asking questions about my sons health and even worse when he was sick an I was asking for help. A friend of mine referred me to UPMC CCP here on 51 by Old Clariton Rd. and I am BEYOND grateful he did! This office is exceptional! They are always polite and kind, they never once made me feel unseen or unheard when it comes to my child, and I have anxiety myself and tend to be overbearing at times and NEVER ONCE did they get an attitude with me or make me feel stupid. Anytime I’ve been anxious whomever I was talking to actually took time to talk to me and calm me down. To help get me my barring back. That’s not their job, they could have told me call back when I calm down, but that little extra time they took to help “settle” me down spoke volumes for the kind of people they are. They are constantly reassuring and they really do whatever it is they say they are going to do to help you. One day I think I called seriously like 10x myself an that’s not including my husband and they still NEVER dismissed either of us an continued to go above and beyond to help us get the answers and help we needed for our child. My son tends to be a little shy, but the staff here has been so amazing with him that he actually looks forward to going to the doctors! Doesn’t even mind the shots! He LOVES everyone he’s had the pleasure of coming in contact with! They talk to him and ask him questions about how he’s doing and feeling and he loves that! Makes him feel seen. Last office couldn’t even remember his name. Also, the office itself is always so clean and the paintings all over the place are magical for the kid!. I’ve seen that place packed with patents and numerous babies an kiddos from NB to tweens and not once did anyone huff and puff or get rude with anyone or loose their cool. Everything went so smooth for everyone there. Or at least, they do an amazing job making it look like it’s moving very smooth. The people with appointments are seen on time or no later than like 5 minutes of the schedule time and the walk in hours provided every morning is a blessing! They manage to get everyone seen within a reasonable time that they didn’t even plan on being there which blows my mind. I’ve never been to an office like that. I mean, I’ve waited HOURS to be seen at other places and as a walk in I don’t think I ever been there longer than 2 hours. An that’s from time walking in and out. All together! I can’t say enough goodness about this practice and all the staff! . I could probably go on for hours about how much I love them! If you have kids or are expecting, this is DEFINITELY where you wanna be! <3

We have loved everyone here and we will miss you all very much. Thank you to all the front desk personnel to the nurses, and the doctors. Ya'll were there for all 5 of kids and thank you for answering every question I ever had. Thank you for all of patience and laughs. Don't stop smiling and being helpful.

I just moved to the area and my one year old became sick. I walked in and was treated so great. I was mistaken about the express clinic. The receptionist Kimberley added my son as a new patient and got him on the schedule to the a doctor right away. I was so thankful with the whole staff’s kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend.

A friend of mine works here so we switched to this office. The doctor's and staff are wonderful! They were able to squeeze me (my kids) in on multiple occasions for shots or sick appointments. This office is the best!

Our family pediatrician is Dr. Hart. He is a rock star. Now that the office has adjusted their practice to have an open walk in sick clinic every morning, and is also part of the UPMC Children's Urgent care clinic on Lebannon Church Rd, where the kid's records are able to be pulled up, there is a solid, uninterrupted system of care for our children. The staff is compassionate, and has been very consistent. The same nurses have been checking us in and checking our heights and weights for years. They have been watching our family grow for 8 years now.

Absolutely love Dr. Cohen. One of the bests. He’s is thorough, caring, and listened to my concerns. He followed up with my son the next morning to see how he was.

I love how easy it is to get my sick child seen that day either through walk ins or with appointments. I also love how much the doctors and Nurse Practitioners care about my children.

Always top notch care here.

Great pediatricians that are great with kids (duh) and an overall very nice and cute doctors office. We love the fish amd cite paintings everywhere everyone is friendly amd comforting
