Dr. Herman is a true professional. Recently had a procedure done by him and I can tell you that it was one of the best experiences I have had dealing with a medical professional. From the amazing front desk staff to Dr. Herman himself, I can honestly say, he cares about his patients. His knowledge and techniques are far superior to others I have reviewed. During the procedure, he explained everything that would occur and he was as smooth and steady as a rock. He was also a joy to talk with during the procedure and made it more comfortable as the procedure was taking place. Best vasectomy I ever had. He may not use the most cutting edge technology/least invasive techniques, but I found him to be knowledgeable, straightforward about what the procedure involved and overall, I’m very happy with the experience I just had. I was a little nervous after reading that other guy’s review about Dr. Herman having a hand tremor, but I was watching for it during the initial consultation, and was on high alert for any shakiness during the procedure and didn’t notice any tremor. This guy’s hand is steady. I would recommend anyone wanting a vasectomy to consider Dr. Herman if you’re looking for a quick and nearly painless experience. Just be aware, he does not use a madajet to administer anesthesia, and you’ll leave the office with 2 openings instead of only 1. I watched a ton of YouTube videos and was hoping for the most minimally invasive/painless procedure. Like I said, he may not use the MOST cutting edge vasectomy technique, but I’m very pleased with my experience, and I trust that with the number of vasectomies he’s performed, he was the right choice.

This is the urologist you want! He is very straightforward and very efficient. He does not want to do unnecessary procedures and is realistic and clear about possible outcomes. He also keeps very close to his appointment times (rare in my experience). It is also worth mentioning that his office staff is friendly and helpful and make difficult experiences far easier. He is a total win!

Great place for a vasectomy. I was worried sick at first especially since you're awake the whole time, but the procedure took 5 minutes and I barely felt a thing!
