I recently purchased a sofa bed at Perlora furniture. I visited both stores. From the moment I walked in to each store, everyone was very helpful. There was a wide selection of unique furnishings in both of their stores. Katie helped me with my purchase. She is a patient listener, answered all of my questions, did a lot of research and was just so helpful. She wanted me to make the best choice and it worked out great. A very good experience all the way around through delivery. Recommend highly and will return.

That's the short version. Here is the backstory. After 25 years we went back to Perlora Furniture to buy a new leather sofa set. We found one we liked and ordered it in a color that should have matched our living room. This was a very big investment for us.

When the sofa arrived it was instantly clear that the color did not match what we meant to buy. Someone from the store drove out to our home, took one look, and said, "Oh. Ewww. I see the problem." But the color number matched what we had asked for.

He took a bunch of photos and went back to the store. "The color doesn't look the same here as it does in your house. Our showroom lighting is extremely warm, and I think that could have been what caused the confusion. Let me see if there is anything we can do."

A few days later we got a call. "The owners have been on the phone with the manufacturer, and it's settled: you can order a replacement so long as it's the same design with a different color." Oh, the relief!

The men came out to take back the first one... and left us with a loaner sofa for the several months we'd have to wait! Totally unexpected, and tremendously helpful because our original sofa had been thrown away.

The new one just arrived and it is more than acceptable. Great quality, perfect size, etc. The color is still notably cooler in our well lit house than at the showroom, but we accounted for that with this choice and it is fine.

So I repeat: BUY YOUR FURNITURE HERE. THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU. They won't give away the shop or anything, buy you will be treated as an honored customer and not just another sale.

From his initial greeting when we entered the store through the selection of our pieces and ordering, Matthew was helpful, professional and so very patient. He presented a variety of options and then patiently guided us through the selection process, even coming to our house to be sure that the items we chose were the right ones for the space. He was incredibly patient and helpful as we chose colors, as well. He has also kept us informed of what to expect regarding manufacturing and shipping timelines. We would happily recommend him to others who might be furniture shopping.

Gabbi was extremely helpful in helping us select the perfect sectional. The store had a wide variety to choose from. The quality and style of furniture is impeccable! Gabbi was very responsive in communicating with us along the way. The delivery was prompt/ very professional and of highest regard to your new furniture purchase and home. We are extremely pleased with our new sectional and experience in dealing with Perlora.

We had several excellent seamless purchases at Perlora with Chaim helping at every turn. Getting new furniture for our living room could have been a daunting task without the knowledge and expertise of the help in the store. We’ve been considering buying a Stressless for literally years, but always put off doing so due to the cost. During their most recent special we spoke with Matthew, who graciously and patiently answered my approximately 7,000 questions and helped us to price out a model that would be appropriate for our needs. He then arranged for what felt like a super safe shopping experience, where we were the only ones in the store and the whole process of coming in, trying/confirming our sofa choice and checking out took only minutes. Perlora has always been a wonderful experience, but shopping with Matthew especially was a dream and we cannot wait to receive our new sofa. Thank you!!!

We worked with designer Matthew to refurnish a small den in our Usonian home. He came to our house for an initial consultation and promptly followed up with a variety of online recommendations for us to review. We then met at the store and finalized our selections. The showroom has a large selection of sofas, chairs and accessories
along with fabric, leather, wood and metal samples to help make your selections truly unique.

Went to Perlora intending to use their design services for a living room re-do. Mathew, one of their designers, came to my place, took photos, measured and then met me at the store to go over ideas. It has been a great experience and I am delighted with the great service, great selection and great ideas.

We went in to look at recliners that were on sale. We met Dan who showed us everything we thought wanted to see and some we didn’t even know about before walking into the store. He was accommodating and personable, and obviously very knowledgeable about the products. In the end, we bought two Stressless recliners. I highly recommend Perlora. Their showrooms are beautiful. The sales service was exceptional.

Sometimes looking for “the right pieces” can be a daunting and stressful experience. If that is your concern, by all means come to Perlora! The Smallman St. showroom is warm and welcoming. While there, we spent a good portion of the afternoon selecting, with the help (and patience) of Matthew and Lora, the perfect combination of look and comfort for the living area of our new condo — stressless recliners, end table, and a low-profile media unit. Even Wall-E, our 90-lb lap dog enjoyed the visit — and the treats. Great place to visit, browse, and buy!

A terrific small business that offers far superior quality leather furniture than what you would find at West Elm, Macy's, Crate and Barrel, or even Ethan Allen. We recommend the brand American Leather. The prices are a little higher but you get durable American-made furniture that will age better and last longer. The designs are also very different from what we typically find in other stores. We worked with Tina; she is knowledgeable and helpful.

Went to the Southside Perlora Store , Mathew was absolutely the most helpful designer ever. Mathew helped me with chairs, Fabrics, stools and accessories. He has great taste and lots of patience. Thanks again Mathew

I ordered my second piece of furniture from Perlora leather yesterday. I always have a wonderful customer service experience at Perlora in the Strip District. Yesterday the owner waited on me! He was filling in for an employee who was out for the day. My first purchase was a small-sized “Stressless” chair for my mom. She has osteoporosis, 6 compression fractures in her back and only stands about 4’8”. She sits in this chair all day, every day. It has been a life saver for her. She loves it. Her feet touch the floor and she can get in and out of it easily. She had a lift chair, but she hated it and wouldn’t use it. It was too big for her and the controls were difficult for her due to her dementia. The “Stressless” chair has no controls, just an adjustable rocker that gently helps her stand up. It is also leather which provides easy clean up which is also important. I ordered a Natuzzi Italian sofa which I can’t wait to arrive. All Perlora’s furniture takes forever to be delivered. That is the only downside. Oh well. It will be worth waiting for!

The shopping experience was fun and relaxing. We got information on exactly what we were looking for, were presented with fair prices, and loved the professional and helpful service from ordering to delivery. Quality from start to finish.

Its like a modern art museum of funiture. Dan is an amazing designer, he can customize a room out of nothing, match your personality with functionality and your living space will be so much more than you ever thought it could be. He works with what you have adding only key pieces and makes your space function for the way you live using your aesthitics. Truly an empathetic artist and master.

Best customer service ever! My chair was repaired within 24 hours of reporting the problem, and with a HOUSE CALL! Personal service still exists. Thank you Perlora!
