Lovely restaurant with strong and unique cocktails and a menu. I had the bison, and it was wonderful, as was the service and atmosphere. I loved the fireplace on a cold Pittsburgh evening. The power briefly went out, and the servers immediately pulled their phones and used their flashlights while standing over tables so guests could see their menu. Of course, we had our own phones, but I appreciated how, on their toes they were. Great date, upscale, but not too pretentious type of place.

Our bartender, Danielle was the absolute best! This was our last stop on a bar hopping adventure for my brother’s birthday. The energy and atmosphere was so chill and cozy. Food and deserts were delicious!

Eighth & Hays gets a 5-star review from me!! The atmosphere, food, drinks, and service were astounding to say the least! As you can see from the pictures all of us had delectable food, mouthwatering drinks, and was very comfortable.

I would definitely advise anyone who hasn't been there to check it out! It's best to make reservations as they get packed, and you may have to wait.

Great place for drinks and food although the pizza looked awesome we had the chefs special salmon dinner. The dish was made perfect.

Just came from their $35 pizza and house wine special on Wednesday. Got the Cajun chicken white pie and the Illusion, one of the house wines . I have to say that I will be returning. Super chill place, great ambiance. Our waitress Kelsey was fantastic. Got a half chef charcuterie board as well to split between 2 people which was also fantastic.

$40 wine and pizza on Wednesday was a great deal, went for the $10 upgrade to get the sparkling wine and it was worth it! The Bee pizza is delicious too, those peppers are spicy in a good way!

5 stars is supposed to be for "Loved It." What's the option for when a place is beyond that description? Every drink was made to perfection, and you could tell they use fresh fruits. The food was incredible, and it's really an upscale experience without the upscale prices. The waitress was attentive, and our waters were never less than 1/4 full. Atmosphere was comfortable, lighting was comfortable, place was clean. I will definitely be coming back here.

Awesome hidden gem. Amazing food, great service, and wonderful cocktails. Chef even came out to talk to us to make sure we understood specials and then to make sure our food was good. Highly recommend the charcuterie board - WELL worth the $38.

Lovely little pizza place with a beautiful interior and adjoining outdoor space and kind, attentive staff. Delicious pizza, plus an expansive wine and craft cocktail menu. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice

Eighth & Hays is a wonderful place to get food and drinks (cocktails in particular) if you and your group are close to the waterfront or homestead in general.

The drinks are portioned well and have a lot of creativity behind them. I tried the pomegranate mule and it was incredible.

The food was also outstanding, they take pride in their pizza but I have to say the chicken and waffles was just as good, if not better. Would recommend this place to everyone. 10/10. Will be back for more :)

We came for a date night around 4 pm on a Saturday afternoon and had a wonderful time! We were able to be seated right away, and had great service! Our waitress was super knowledgeable about the menu, and she was able to provide us with greats recs. The vibe was super cozy and intimate. The oven brick pizzas are delicious and the wine selection was expansive. We will definitely be back!

This is the best place I've been to in a long while. Very cozy and clean, the bar was immaculate with a fireplace behind you. Perfect for a cold December night. The staff was beyond friendly, everyone introduced themselves and asked for my name. On top of that, the food was out of this world. The executive chef hand delivered the dessert order and really made it feel special. I can't recommend this place enough. Definitely get the luvjug!

This place was a great find on our way to a concert at the Carnegie Library. The food was great, we had a wood fired pizza that was made with delicious and fresh ingredients. The wine list was impressive and the cocktail menu was creative as well. Great ambience with modern decor in an upscale setting.

Nice and cozy, two fireplaces with couple couches and overstuffed chairs, long high tops and multiple 4 top tables. Great wine and cocktail selection and a real honest to god wood fired stove. Wine Wednesday is great, $30 for bottle of wine and a pizza. Great service to boot.

Fabulous place to visit, extensive wine selection and extremely tasty food, I strongly recommend the shrimp poor boy sandwich. In a high end atmosphere. No one under 21 allowed, 👍👍.

We love this spot for date night. It would be also super fun for a girls night out. Wine selection is great as is the food. We love the pizza and wine special. They put out a new items frequently it seems. The chef board is always fun and the cheeses change.

Cocktails were perfect and so were the flat breads, fried asparagus and charcuterie board. Waitstaff was amazing as well. This place is fantastic!
