My husband had a Watchman Device put in his heart. The staff was amazing. I especially loved his nurse names Louis MacBeth in the Heart and Vascular dept. He was so informative and explained everything so clearly to us. Always checking on him to see if he needed anything. He was truly amazing and he is definitely in the right profession. Dr Saba, PA, Angela were all wonderful. Thank God for these wonderful, hard-working people. I would definitely recommend this hospital for all your medical needs.

Presbyterian Hospital is the best hospital in Pittsburgh. I've been admitted several times over the past 25 years. From endocarditis, renal failure, hysterectomy, broken femur,3rd degree burns to my foot, pneumonia, blood clot in the intestines which led to organ failure and sepsis, assessed for kidney transplant and knee replacement surgery and more. They are very very professional. Very clean. I've noticed they always sanitize their hands upon entering and leaving the room. I mean everyone from nurses, doctor's, food service, housekeeping etc. Everyone.. Everytime! Also when people frown upon hospital food they weren't talking about UPMC s Montefiore hospital food. You actually order your meals. Omelettes, pancakes& bacon, hot tea with honey&, lemon. Baked salmon, apple,& cherry pie, bread pudding, fresh rolls, real butter, ceaser salads. Wow I'm hungry now! Lol But seriously UPMC Presbyterian Hospital is the ONLY hospital I will go to for a cut to a bump to a fever or cough or chills... to Presbyterian I go. Oh and their emergency room is clean, orderly and will s administer aid asap. Please if you want good professional advice and care,; go to Presbyterian Hospital. Please do yourself or your family or your friends or coworkers or neighbors or loved ones a huge life saving favor by making UPMC Presbyterian your first choice. ER, specialist, surgeries, appointments, etc. I promise you, you will be pleasantly amazed and satisfied..... Guaranteed!!!!

Went to the emergency room for an allergic reaction to cashews. We only had to wait around 5 minutes in the waiting room and the front desk person was very quick and professional. The first nurse I saw was very calm and helpful. It only took a minute or so to get me into a room. My main nurse, Erica, was super nice and friendly and was doing all she could to get the ball rolling with treatment. The attending physician, Dr. Ratay, was also very kind and understanding. The only issue that happened was that at the very beginning it was difficult for us to find where the emergency room entrance was so I think more clear signage would be helpful. Overall I would highly recommend this emergency room.

My sister was life flighted there from East Liverpool, Ohio after a catastrophic stroke. Unfortunately, my sister didn’t survive the stroke but this hospital was phenomenal. They did everything they could. But what really made it phenomenal was the staff. Every single nurse, tech, doctor, etc was so empathetic and compassionate. They went above and beyond to get her fiancĂ© over there so he could see her one last time. They walked us through everything. So Thank you to everyone that took care of my sister. You couldn’t save her but you made our lives during the process much easier. While we grieve, we will remember the compassion the staff gave us. Shout out to Dr. O’Donnell from critical care medicine, Dr Hafeez and the nurses Abigayle and the one she had Saturday but I don’t remember her name from the Neuro ICU. Without you guys, watching her go would have been much harder. Thank you for the empathy and compassion you showed her even though she was brain dead as she was passing and the compassion and empathy you showed our family.

My only complaint is the whole hospital is confusing. I think the parking deck needs better directions to direct to the main entrance.

My daughter was recently admitted to UPMC Presbyterian as a result of an car accident. She came through the ER and was admitted to unit 8G where everyone was absolutely fantastic. From the emergency room doctor to the orthopedic doctor to every other nurse and doctor in between this place was amazing and helped
My daughter through a very traumatic experience.

Excellent working environment allowing me as a physician to provide exceptional care on a daily basis.

I have also flipped the coin and been a patient at UPMC, and it was nothing but what I expected. Even the food was good! ;)

Ive stayed at this hospital a few times in my life. Two of the times were spent overnight in the ICU post op section of the hospital. The family room rarely has people in it, which was nice for sleeping overnight. Wake up early if you are staying here and catch beautiful sunrises. You are probably there for a stressful and emotionally difficult reason, and these sunrises bring a little bit of beauty to the experience.

This hospital has always been highly accommodating. Its probably the best hospital Ive ever come across.

Very nice hospital overall, probably the best UPMC hospital there is. Easy to navigate interior as well as multiple parking options nearby. Solid location for all your needs and they are currently building on to the building. Constantly growing and improving

This hospital has the nicest employees! Very caring and very helpful! I'm not big on a lot of hospitals but this one is great! It's a big hospital and you could probably get lost like I did, trying to visit a friend, but there are so many information booths with a helpful employee to direct you to where you need to go! If I had a choice to choose a hospital, I'd pick this one!

First time ever in the ER. Hospital staff all were very nice and attentive. Area was very clean. My nurse..I can't remember her name was sweet and always checking in on me and kept me up to date on which tests results had arrived. Dr. Guo has excellent bed side manners. Spoke very calm and clear and made sure I understood everything that was going on. He also checked on me often. Would recommend this ER to anyone

I cannot praise this hospital and their staff enough they are the absolute best! I had a very weird thing happen to me and my ear, also 10 weeks pregnant! I was terrified and the staff here from the Attendings(Nick), Residents, Nurses(Jenny, Kristen, Mike, Brad) nurses aides(Mandi, Asia) infectious disease team, ENTs, everyone even the Volunteers I mean they went above and beyond to any all my concerns, questions, I was really scared to receive a picc line and Omg the IV women(I hate I forgot her name again) was so gentle and caring I didn’t even know she did anything! My experience was wonderful and I wouldn’t choose any other hospital and I’m abt 2 hours away lol I greatly appreciate each and everyone of you for how you treated me and I’ll never forget your kindness!!!! Thank you for treating me as if I was one of your own it means the world to me and my family❤❤❤❤

My husband unfortunately has been to this hospital 3 times in 6 weeks.
I cannot praise this organization enough.
The parking attendants, cafeteria staff, the family surgical waiting room staff were so patient and kind. Dr Waung and all the surgical team members were so supportive and also very patient.
The ER staff, well we cannot say thanks enough!!
And last but not least the staff on 12D
Awesome from admission to discharge!
What an asset to this city and community!

The Neurology Department here literally saved my life... I travel to see these Drs and surgeons because after being told by multiple other doctors at other hospitals that my seizures were unableto be located, the Drs here were not only able to locate where they were coming from, they were able to remove the cause. God bless these people!

Staff was very friendly to us during our visit for a corneal abrasion. The one security guard (I can’t remember his name at present) helped get my kiddo a good fitting mask for his ears, he was trying hard to get it to fit, and was overall one of the most pleasent individuals I’ve come across in awhile. Really appreciated him. And they were accommodating when a relative came and picked up my kid since it was past bedtime. My wife had good care during her brief stay and the staff was overall very pleasent. While we aren’t in the UPMC network, our experience at this location almost makes me wish we were. The staff were overall very accommodating and pleasent to interact with

My daughter had surgery here. This is a wonderful hospital. All staff and volunteers were very helpful and accommodating. I wasn't fond of the cafeteria food at all. Food had no taste and what I got was not fresh. I got a grilled cheese, they got it from a warming cabinet and put it in a box. The tomatoe soup had no taste. I got a breakfast sandwich, preprepared, again it was not fresh, the bread was burnt and so was the cheese. Other than that, it was a great
