I had so many questions, and he listened and even asked questions of his own to make sure I was getting the right skis for my needs. He shipped same day and I got them a few days later. Can't recommend Ski Sharp highly enough. If you are in the market for a pair of Stockli skis there's not a single other place you should go. I bought my second pair of Stormrider 95's from Rick last season. They had different bindings and I felt they were fighting me, but couldn't tell if it was me or the skis. Brought them back 9 months after I bought them, talked it over and we agreed it made sense to move the bindings forward. I now feel completely dialed in and there was no charge. I don't recall any other shop I've dealt with take such a no-questions-asked ownership of their work. I'll always have a pair of Stockli skis in my quiver and won't buy them from anyone else. These skis are like skiing on rails, with great edge hold, the ability to ski high edge angles with confidence, and awesome stability at high speeds - Rick gave me a great price, tuned them with a World Cup worthy race tune, and I had one of my best seasons racing NASTAR in my 20 plus years of racing.

Rick -I wanted to let you know how satisfied I am with the Stöckli StormRider 95’s that I purchased from Ski Sharp.
In 7 days of skiing in British Columbia I experienced nearly every possible snow condition and terrain type. In all cases the skis performed flawlessly. I know when a Revelstoke liftie says “nice skis”, that I made a good choice. The skis are incredibly versatile, predictable, and rewarding. Despite what some other retailers have said, there's no need to "buckle your seatbelt and hang on" while riding these skis; they ski well at all speeds. Your length recommendation of 175 was spot on. These are first skis in a long time that I can say that I love!

I also wanted to acknowledge the care that you took in prepping the skis and how you packed and shipped them. The sturdy carton and your method of packing them ensured that my new skis arrived in pristine condition. My only regret is that I don't live near your shop to be able to bring them in for periodic tune-ups!

I always had good experiences here growing up, and Rick is one of two techs in the area that I trusted to base grind my race skis.
That said, I recently brought a pair of old race skis in to get freshened up, and Rick refused to work on them. As a local race coach, and someone Rick probably recognizes, I was treated with incredible disregard. I traveled a long way to visit Ski Sharp because they do good work and I was hoping for a quick turnaround, but it was a waste of a trip.
I ended up bringing the skis to another trusted shop, and was taken care of no problem. We chuckled about Rick turning away my money.
