Barrel Junction

Really wanted to try this place for awhile now, since it's mere minutes from my house (oh, the places two young children won't take you sometimes😅). As it were, had an opportunity to take the family, and it was very nice.

The server was very attentive and friendly, the menu not overbearing while also having plenty of intriguing options, and the tap list was vast and varied. I had a chicken and waffle sandwich that was very good, one of the better iterations I've had in Pittsburgh, while my wife had a shrimp salad and my daughter the kids pasta.

Everyone was happy with their meal and the rotating 25 beer tap list yielded some nice sips as well. Will definitely visit again when the situation presents itself, hopefully sooner than later.

My friend and I ate at the bar. Fast service and the food was good. It's a little pricey, but you get plenty to eat!

If you're looking for an Awesome place to eat go to Barrel Junction in Shaler! The picture was just our leftovers from 2 people) That should help to size the quantities) Food was piping HOT and 99% of EVERYTHING is made from scratch. Great beer selection!

We heard about Barrel Junction while visiting the area and it did not disappoint ! Super good food and fresh. They had an awesome Cole slaw as well!

The food is great. Mostly all the severs but one are the nicest people you'd meet. The bar and restaurant theme is nice. Enjoyable place to visit. Great selection of beer and drinks as well. Their nachos are great, I'd suggest adding brisket, their barrel basket is enough food for 2 people and totally worth it. Great wing flavor options. The chicken waffle sandwich has the best waffle I ever had. The shrimp are huge and tasty as well. Their smoked beans are amazing and I'm not big on baked beans but I order them every time I'm there.

Great pizza! I was really in the mood for a whiskey drink and bartender made a very nice one

This is one of my MOST favorite restaurants close to my house. I have NEVER had anything bad. This most recent time, I had the Mediterranean pizza (without the onions) and it was delicious. The crust was so good. I wished there was a little more toppings(more olives, spinach, feta, red peppers) on it, but that doesn't change how good the flavor was. My husband has gotten burgers and loved every one. Also they have the MOST fun drinks. I had a cucumber cooler and it was so light and refreshing. Their fun drink menu can't be beat. Great, hardworking staff!! You won't be disappointed. Stop in and give it a try.

We love this local spot! A lot of drink options but the whole family LOVES their food. The pizza is something we all enjoy. The nachos are incredible as well. Good to dine in or take out!

Amazing food beer and atmosphere. Waitress was absolutely incredible.

We had their southwest salad, shrimp and chicken gumbo, and a dip dish pizza, as well as a couple of strong martinis. It was a busy Saturday night after a storm that left others without power. Their service and atmosphere was great. First time dining and will not be the last.

I love the selection of beers on draft. The food is always good and plentiful, and our server was excellent!

Food is really good. I was surprised. Everything was made in house as far as I could tell. I got the pulled pork, fish sandwich, tender, and fries. Portions are big as well.

This is our go to local, everyone on staff is always so nice, and the food is great. Serving sizes are huge and reasonably priced. They consistently have an excellent tap selection; we regularly discover new and seasonal beers that we go back to. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

My girlfriend absolutely loves loves the nachos! I have never been disappointed with any selection that I have made. Have eaten the brisket sandwich with heavy onions and pickles, very good and my go to, till tonight. I ate the shrimp Po boy, home run! As for the sides, tonight's baked beans could have been my favorite beans ever. Love the coleslaws as well. French fries are always on spot. Thank you for doing a consistent good gob

This is the 2nd time my daughter and I have ordered take out from Barrel Junction and oh my gosh is it so yummy!

First time we got 2 pizzas. Very unique and gorument with plenty of toppings. Great crust, great flavor!

Tonight she got a California cobb with chicken and I got the smoked brisket philly and we also ordered some buffalo chicken dip.

She enjoyed the salad but the brisket philly stole the show!

I can eat A LOT (I'm often ordering a combo plus something else when I get fast food).

This brisket philly was loaded with meat. And maybe I didn't read the menu properly, but it was SMOKED!

It was so tender with great flavor. Extremely unique.

My daughter said the dip was good, but a little too spicy for her. I haven't tried it yet because I'm stuffed but it looks delicious with banana peppers in it etc.

The decor inside looks great too. I can't wait to stop in and enjoy a few beers.
