Wightman Playground at Wightman Park

Beautiful, well designed and engaging play space! Fantastic playground equipment for both children under five and over five. Basketball hoop for teens. Convenient picnic tables under a pavilion, restrooms and baseball field. Love the walking path and boardwalk over the rain garden. Art and sculptures add a whimsical and magical vibe. Smart urban planning and design!

An awesome park in a very nice area of town. New and clean equipment. Clean family bathrooms on site. Swings, slides of all sizes, climbing walls and rope climbing structures. Handicap accessible ramps and equipment. Multiple playground sets. Baseball diamond adjacent to the playground

That’s one of the best playgrounds in Pittsburgh. They recently finished a remodeling and everything seems brand new, from the pads to swings. When I went there, the restrooms were still closed, but hopefully they’ll make it available for visitors.

Great playground. Good spaces for toddler aged children. Cool bumpy slide. Neat area with lots of plants and cool sculptures. Definitely not typical playground equipment, much cooler. Lots of climbing opportunities.

A great modern playground with everything maintained and up to date. They also have a basketball court and a little "boardwalk" to walk around. The giant slide is really the best.

Awesome park for all ages!

We loved it here! Came out to celebrate my 8 year old nephew. My 4 yr old and 2yr of enjoyed the slides and the various things to climb on. I enjoyed the rope webbing and the crazy see saw, toppsy turvy merry go round. We are likely to return. The pavilion was nice shade and caught some breeze it was a hit Sept day.

Variety of play ground equipment for all ages. Nice walking track and rest rooms open in the summer.

Great place for the kids to play, they had a ball

Such a great playground. I go here just about everyday & all the equipment is so fun & great. There is a play area for younger children & also for older children. Such a nice pavilion & walking track.

One of my favorite parks to take my kids. They love all the climbing fixtures and slides. I like that they have inclusive swings. There is a nice walkway around the playground if you want to get in some steps while the kids play. The landscaping is really nice. The field is great for things like frisbee when there isn't a baseball game going on

This playground has a 2 to 5 year old section that is absolutely great for my child. The next age range up is some much more challenging ninja spider climbing equipment. It looks hella fun for kids six and up.

First time experiencing this playground and it quite awesome. The massive slide to get to the playground is fast and fun.

What a fantastic playground! Wish I lived closer because I'd be there every week! Clean, lots of stuff for kids to climb on, plenty of places for adults to sit and rest, great shade! Highly recommend!

Wonderful playground. Lots of challenges for the kids. Certainly one of the best places to host a party. Grill is big and sturdy - and new! Check out the bevy of native plants in the garden.

If you have little ones and you haven't been to this park yet, you need to check it out. My wife and I are perplexed that we didn't know it was there. We think it must be new. It's a large, clean, modern city playground, with many amenities (pavilion, grill, bathrooms, water fountain, basketball courts, etc) in addition to the super creative playground. Make sure you don't miss the slide that spans the whole side of a hill!

They got a bball court and structures for adolescence to use

Love the new playground it's awesome!!!! It has lots of swings including a handicap swing. It has street parking and handicap parking. It has a baseball field and is close to the drugstore for snacks. It's also pretty much fenced in for safety.

Fantastic new playground with Gazebos and walking path. Great for birthday parties. Lots of picnic tables. CVS is walkable around the corner for drinks, bathrooms...snacks, sunscreen..whatever. Very clean. Good people.
