Constellation Coffee

I'm quite positive there's magic in the air and in the coffee.

My friends know I think Constellation is the best coffee shop in Pittsburgh so I figured I might as well offer my opinion to the larger public, too.

The baristas are dialed tf in, whether you want an espresso, pour over, or drip (their menu includes more, I'm just naming a few). More of a traditionalist? You'll be impressed with a carefully crafted cup of coffee. Or maybe you're more adventurous? They'll have something brewing that will delightfully surprise your taste buds. If you're interested in the notes in your coffee or the processing techniques, you'll especially enjoy this place. The baristas are highly knowledgeable and willing to share their their knowledge.

The environment here is calming, so I wouldn't recommend coming in with a boisterous crew. Just bring peaceful energy and add it to the collective.

Oh! And their garden beside the shop is lovely. A perfect spot to slow down, sip your espresso in the sun, and listen to the birds sing.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Constellation, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel right at home.

The decor was charming and cozy, with comfortable seating options and just the right amount of ambient lighting to create a relaxed ambiance. It's the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time while enjoying your coffee.

Speaking of coffee, let me tell you, they serve up some of the best brews in town. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water, and the taste certainly did not disappoint. Whether you're a fan of classic espresso drinks or prefer something a bit more adventurous, their menu has something for everyone. Plus, the baristas clearly take pride in their craft, as each drink was expertly prepared and beautifully presented.

But the excellence doesn't stop there. The customer service is top-notch. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that every customer had a positive experience. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're made to feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in.

And let's not forget about the delicious pastries and snacks they offer. The selection is always fresh and varied, providing the perfect accompaniment to your coffee of choice. I particularly enjoyed lemon poppy seed scone which paired perfectly with my latte.

Overall, my experience at Constellation was nothing short of exceptional. From the inviting atmosphere to the outstanding coffee and friendly service, it's clear that this coffee shop truly cares about providing a memorable experience for its customers. I will definitely be returning soon, and I highly recommend that you do the same.

Best coffee experience in Pittsburgh and beyond. This café deserves 5 stars and nothing less! It has absolutely amazing and very unique roasts, the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly and the place has a wonderful and calming vibe 🥰☕

Loved the atmosphere so much and all the gorgeous sunlight through the windows! Lots of people seem to know the baristas here so there was a lot of friendly chatting about coffee in the background. Not many tables but if you can snag one it's really nice to get some work done! Only complaint is that my matcha wasn't very well mixed so it was a bit gritty, but I'll definitely stop by to try a latte soon :)

Amazing coffee and such nice folks! They even let us pop in a bit early when we came by before they were open. Delicious, strong lattes and really cool merch! Will definitely be back next time I’m in Pittsburgh.

What a great coffee spot! We stopped in on the way out of town after a brief visit to Pittsburgh, and we were thrilled to have picked this place for our caffeine fix!

The espresso was easily the most flavorful and enjoyable espresso I have ever tasted.

The staff was friendly, they conversed at good length with all of their regulars which is always a good sign, and they were very knowledgeable about their beans and drinks.

They told us about this Columbian vandola, and that they use these exclusively with their Columbian beans. We will certainly have to try that pour next time, and if we’re ever in town this is where we will be for sure!

Wasn't expecting to go here but did anyways and the place is great! The quality of the drinks the mocha and the maple spice latte were on point. Wonderfully crafted!

Hands down the best coffee shop in Pittsburgh. The service is excellent, good music and relaxed vibes overall. The owners have a vast knowledge of coffee in general and how to brew it. They purchase coffee from ethical roasters, and brew it to perfection, attaining flavors you didn't think could come from a cup of coffee. You will not find a better cup of coffee from a cooler shop in Pittsburgh.

It’s a small,cozy place,has a good location. My cortado was delicious,I liked the taste of coffee beans also.

I love this coffee shop! If you’d like to enjoy delicious coffee, tea, cappuccino, pour over, etc then try constellation! They have a patio or a chill indoor area, great treats and the best coffee in Pittsburgh imo.

Great little coffee spot on Penn Ave. The drinks are great and priced well, taxes included. The staff working during my visit were extremely kind, helpful, and pleasant. The atmosphere is very relaxing as well.

The owner/staff, Amy and Cliff, are incredibly nice folks making incredible delicious coffee. They not only serve consistently amazing drinks, they also sell whole bean bags from roasters you can't find elsewhere in the area. I've been coming here for years now, and they've patiently given me great advice on how to improve my home brewing. In the warmer months, they have a cute garden to sit out in. There aren't that many tables inside, since rearranging post-covid, but if you can snag one, the light is lovely to read/work. The handful of times I've brought my little one, they are so accommodating and understanding. Also, their bathroom has super fun wallpaper.

Great coffee shop in Pittsburgh. Visiting in from Maryland I was looking for a new place to visit. Minimalistic decor as the focus was the quality of the coffee. They did not disappoint. Thanks Amy and Cliff for a great experience. I will be back again on my next visit.

One of my go to espresso bars in Pittsburgh. They are the only shop I know of in the area that use Ceremony beans. Their baristas can be a little inconsistent with espresso but all are very friendly. I highly recommend their pour over. They always have new beans to try.

Great coffee and kind quick service. With no extra cost for soy milk, and oat milk for only a little extra.

Great cup of coffee. Urban coffee shop,nice staff cute space to dowork. I plan on going back soon.
