We had a magnificent meal last night at Seasons Restaurant. The space, service, and food were fabulous. What an amazing treasure in Etna! A chef who trained at the French Laundry who is sourcing local ingredients to make inventive and creative food? Who could ask for anything more!

This restaurant is a gem. I would run, not walk, here. We got the chance to speak to Chef David after our meal and we’re blown away by his story and hustle. We cannot wait to return with family and friends!

We had the best experience at Seasons with Chef David. It felt as though we were having a private dining experience with a personal chef because he only allows for a few tables a night. He is to be commended because he does it all as the owner, greeter, server, sommelier and chef and makes for a completely unique expereince unlike anything in Pittsburgh. The food was amazing and truly clean eating - he explains where everything comes from, whether it be his very own garden or locally sourced. This is a place to savor, linger and enjoy your food. We were there for an 8 course meal with wine flight and it was about 3.5 hours for the entire experience - absolutely wonderful!

A special meal in a wonderful environment. Chef David learned that we were celebrating several events and dove in head first. The environment is relaxed and unassuming. Dress comfortable was the guidance. The food was impeccable and the service was exceptional but not intrusive. The meal began with honey, took a few steps forward with delicious starters which led to lamb served with several tomato variants. Our palate’s were cleansed and the butter cake / fresh fruit experience began.

The meal was expertly matched with delightful service. I highly recommend the experience. You will also be pleasantly engaged with the personal touch Chef David and his team provide.

My wife and I went there for our 6th Anniversary. We like to choose different establishments each year to try. Seasons was incredible from start to finish. I called and left a message for a reservation. Shortly after that, I received a text from David confirming the reservation and he sent me some info about the meal options. My wife has the wine pairing with her meal and David offered a beer pairing for me (it was not listed on the menu). I appreciated the beer selections and my wife loved the wine pairings. The server was extremely knowledgeable and explained each dish and why the drinks were paired with each dish. Oh, and the food was absolutely incredible! Excellent experience from start to finish. If you enjoy great food, a lovely atmosphere, and excellent service, you need to check out Seasons!

Wonderful dining experience at Seasons. Chef David is giving his best effort to bring you unique dishes that showcase local ingredients. Our meal was light and refreshing, with flavors that ignite the palette. For our anniversary, he served us a bouquet of edible flowers that he grows in his garden. They were spicy and unlike anything I’ve tried before. The tomatoes were bursting with flavor. Everything tasted super fresh. I loved the egg cooked and served in its shell with local maple, the chanterelles with egg and truffle sauce, the venison ham, pork belly with creamed corn, charred cucumbers, gooseberries. This is the second time we’ve dined here and I highly recommend it to someone looking for something different in Pittsburgh. I feel like I even learned about new ingredients that I can use to spice up my own cooking.

The food was stunningly beautiful and delicious! Inventive dishes with fiercely local ingredients. Vegetables from the Chef’s garden, mushrooms from a local woods, and honey and chicken celebrating local growers. One of the best meals I have had in Pittsburgh! The wine pairings were excellent. This is food created with knowledge and passion. Can’t wait to go back!

Highly, highly recommend. Chef David was phenomenal. We came on an evening where his waiter had called off, so he had to cook and serve by himself, and he did so with a smile. Everything on the menu was fresh and unique. He explained the food items in detail, and you could tell how proud he was of his dishes. The service was great. Loved the vibe of the space. He creates a dining experience that is so unique in Pittsburgh, and we will certainly be back!

We had the restaurant week special with the wine pairing early this week and it was absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was amazing with so much attention to detail, and it was great to hear David's explanation of each course and where all the ingredients came from. Every ingredient had a cool story, from the goat milk he got from a farmer who showed up on his doorstep a few months ago to the apple cider vinegar that he ferments every autumn. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion dinner.

Ive lived in Pittsburgh for the last few years and been to all of the 'top restaurants' in the area from Poulet Bleu to Altius to Twisted Frenchman and I've never had anything like this...if I could give 6 stars I would. I celebrated my birthday and an anniversary here and both meals blew me away.

The decor is unassuming and unpretentious and the food is absolutely divine. Yes, expensive, but a must visit if you have the chance. Chef David has a masterful grasp of fine dining using ingredients, garden grown parts of plants I'd never heard of to create visually striking dishes that taste just as good as they look. If you want to experience food in a way you haven't before, Seasons has my highest praise. I'll be coming back any chance I get.

We had an amazing dinner at Seasons-- truly a wonderful experience, including trying (delicious) ingredients I'd never had before and outstanding service. While offering a very "foodie" type of dining experience, everyone was exceptionally nice and approachable and really explained everything we were experiencing (and why), from some incredible salts from W. VA to edible flowers to homemade cheese and tomatoes from the chef's garden that I wish that I could at every meal. We will definitely be back and made for a fantastic birthday evening. Thank you!!

Hands down the best dining experience I have ever had. From start to finish, it was sublime. The service, presentation of the food, environment and of course the food itself was incredible. Chef David Bulman is a genuis. The creativity behind his dishes is incredible. Each dish was inventive and delicious. The evening was full of laughs, great service and outstanding food. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Tonight I had the restaurant week special meal and it was brilliant. I had the opportunity to try so many wonderful things. Chef David was beyond wonderful. Professional, happy to answer any questions I had, and paired the wind beautifully. I will be returning and sending my clients. As a woman who has had the pleasure eating and drinking and some of the best places in the world I truly think Seasons not only has a really special experience in store for you, but the heart to back it up.

Had a truly fabulous dining experience here. Seasons is a quaint New Modern American sustainable restaurant that offers a locally sourced chef’s tasting menu. We were served about 8 courses and did the optional wine pairing recommendations that were spot on. So many unique flavor profiles and everything is super fresh. Inventiveness and plating are beyond reproach. Highly recommend for any occasion. The chef really has something special here! GO....now!!!

Chef Dave created a magical dining experience with all locally grown and sourced ingredients! Perfectly ripened summer veggies and herbs harvested from his own garden. He provides details on all the food he uses throughout the meal. It was delicious as well as fun and educational!

De-lish. We were looking for a restaurant that offered something special for a birthday dinner, and we were not disappointed. Dining at Seasons is a spectacular affair that, for us, included 8 courses over the span of 3+ hours, so don’t plan to come here with someone unless you enjoy their company. We brought two bottles of wine (one red and one white), which was just enough for the two of us given the length of the meal, and Chef David paired the appropriate wine with each course for us.

Foodies, you will appreciate the experience, the commitment to showcasing local+homegrown ingredients, and of course the FOOD. If you’re leary about booking a dinner without any idea of the menu, take the leap of faith. Can’t wait to go back!

What a gem of a restaurant in Etna, PA (neighborhood of Pittsburgh). David, chef trained at famous French Laundry has presented us with a fantastic feast as we selected the Grand tasting option on the Menu. We had a mouthwatering dishes that have had fresh daily locally sourced produce and meats plus many spices and unique ingredients were grown by chef in his own garden. This restaurant is the best kept secret in Pittsburgh, so find it and be delighted. A very different dining experience where you can spend time, even few hours, enjoying food, drinks with your friends and very welcoming chef that dazzles your senses.

It's very clear that David, the chef, is passionate about his craft and wow is he talented! Everything is sourced locally and presented to perfection. The chef is forthcoming, will answer any questions, and will accommodate any diet - you're definitely paying for personalized service. This is an ideal place for a special date night, anniversary, birthday, or other event. There are a few kinks to work out - namely more staff is needed - but I'm sure that'll change with time as this is a newer restaurant. If you're open minded, love trying new things, and really want to immerse yourself in a totally unique Pittsburgh experience, then head over to Season's right now.

Dining at Seasons is a singularly delightful experience and one that is rare in Pittsburgh. A series of astonishingly flavorful, skillfully prepared, and pleasingly served courses delight the palate. We dined with friends and all enjoyed every course. Having service staff that were deeply knowledgeable about the menu items and the wine pairings added to this memorable experience. Don't save this for a special occasion! Go and enjoy a leisurely meal with loved ones and friends. This level of skill in cooking and service tax is important to support in Pittsburgh!

Wonderful night of fine dining out in Etna. Chef David brings an impressive resume and a personalized dining experience which comes highly recommended. Standout dishes were the cucumber in multiple preparations and the chanterelles with truffle and caramelized cream. Looking forward to more creations from the garden and beyond!
