Update: message to owner. I will definitely be back. My expectations for cocktails was high. It was crazy busy when we were there.
The service was fantastic .

Food was not good but the decorations made up for it.
Also, the Christmas cocktails were not that great but the beer was cold, server/bartender was friendly and that made up for the food and drink.
For reference, I had the Italian hoagie and Grinch cocktail

I am the traveler. Now I do want to tell everyone. This is a must stop. From the moment I walked in I felt like a regular. Nice clean place and atmosphere awesome they go all out with decorating for all seasons. Halloween decor everywhere right now. Their chicken fingers are as big as a pint glass. Prices are good service awesome. And they had karaoke Tuesday night at 8:30. Great time and patrons participation. The locals were fantastic, like I know them my whole life.

My sister and I went to Barry's tonite for the first time...loved the atmosphere. Very welcoming! The bartenders were nice...great drinks for happy hour. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was one of the best burgers I enjoyed in a long time. I definitely plan on stopping by again. 😀

Friendly bartenders, excellent sandwiches, flat bread pizzas and bar food! They decorate like mad for the holidays and events. You'll love it at Barry's!

Stopped in after work for the first time and got a Chicago dog and couple beers. The bartender John was really nice and the food was delicious. Great first impression will definitely be back when I'm in the area!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. It is one of the coolest bar/restaurants to go to!! We stopped in for the first time after seeing an ad for the Halloween pop up bars. I drove 40 min and was not disappointed! The decorations were lit, the walls were covered and the lighting was so cool. Plus you can't miss the huge skelly outside. We went for the karaoke and stayed for the atmosphere!! I haven't had that much fun in a long time. The crowd was full of all kinds of people, all ages, and everyone was so nice and kind and friendly. The vibe was so good! Karaoke was bomb and the whole bar was literally singing along with every song together. DJ Diva was a sweetheart with a wicked personality!!! Loved her so much. The food was so good! It was piping hot and fresh and delicious. Plus, homemade sauces - you cannot miss! I made friends at the bar and even in the bathroom. I swear you won't find a friendlier place. It was also really clean for a bar. The staff was sweet and kind and attentive. I cannot wait to go back. I'm not big on bars at this point in life, but if I was a regular anywhere, it would be at Barry's Pub!!! 100% will make that drive again, soon! And I'll bring more friends. We got the buffalo chicken ranch pizza, hot chicken tendies and our neighbors got garlic Parm wings. Omg it was all so good.

Best local feel, local owners, glfamily run...and Christmas time atmosphere is our favorite. Like "cheers", everyone knows everyone...new or old.

Barry's is a colorful bar and grill with a storied past; it was formerly known as the Fox Trot Inn, an ancient local tavern known for fish sandwiches and turtle soup. Barry's was still decorated for St. Patrick's Day during our visit and I can't blame them...the place was festooned from floor to ceiling with glowing LED and neon lights and decorations...awesome decor. Thick, savory chicken quesadillas, hot, crispy fries, well-crafted cocktails and attentive service made Barry's a great choice. 👍

This place is the best!! Low key, casual, really great staff, food was great, and the Christmas decor was AMAZING!! Wings and beer! Highly recommend!!

I eat lunch here once or twice a week. It's always clean, friendly staff, large portions and a great price. Food is always cooked properly.

Great place. The barmaid is fantastic, she makes sure you always have what you want. Food is terrific. I will definitely go back there again!

Barry’s is the best no-nonsense bar, hands down, in the McCandless-Franklin Park area. It’s a great vibe.

One of my favorite spots ever! I used to call it 'my home pub' living within a mile of it at the time. You should def check it out on Halloween! They really go all out. Friendly staff and regulars. Affordable drinks! Their wings and ranch??😋 Yet to find another favorite cozy, homey spot 😊

I have been to Barry's twice and had a great time. Very relaxed and the bartenders are fun and nice.food was surprisingly good and drinks very very reasonable. Fun atmosphere and young owner stopped to ask us how we were doing. How cool is that!!

Crowded on karaoke night but bartenders are now on the spot. Food was very good, they have an expanded menu now. Young crowd but we had a great time. Cheers again to the hustling bartenders.

Barry's will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤ All my favorite people work here and all my favorite people come here. If you're looking for a good karaoke night, come down on a Thursday! Also, food is delicious and well above bar food quality!
