I like this office a great deal. We're always seen quickly, and the office runs more efficiently than their Natrona Heights location. CCP is a great healthcare provider regardless of the location. I see other reviews mentioning issues, but I've always gotten the papers we need and communication from the front desk is very good.

On a completely nonmedical note, this is the tiniest plunger I've ever seen. In your front restroom 😂 10/10 made me laugh. It's smaller than half that standard sized paper on the door😂

Great experience so far with our 1.5 year old. We have encountered multiple illnesses and the office is always able to get us in quickly and efficiently. I called at 230 on a Friday and had my son in at 3 seeing his normal doctor- amazing! Happy he can see his PCP and avoid trips to urgent care.

I really like this practice for our kids and they're very welcoming. Dr. Gordon was the best and unfortunately, retired. Dr. Tucker is also great, but hard to get appointments with sometimes. The front desk is also really nice and always remembers our kids when they come in. All around, a really good practice and I'm glad they're close by to us.

I'm leaving a review partially to counter the one star review which dealt with non-vax resistance and ethnicity.
We are hispanic and they know this though admittedly, not by appearance. However we are a non-vax household and it is seriously difficult to find doctors who will even see my kids. Some cccp docs will not see non-vax kids and some will, you have to ask.
We like our doc alot, but I know he prefers vax so i wont give him a shout out, but I have to give props to the nurses in the O'hara office. I am a singld parent and appreciate that they are understanding, reliable, reassuring, concerned, patient, and informative. And they DON'T FORCE an exam when you have questions or need school excuse if not necessary.

First, the pediatrician that we see is phenomenal and professional and my child really loves her so we will be back to this location. However, the nurse practitioner that we had today was incredibly unprofessional. She had a trainee with her and they needed to draw blood from my 2 year old’s finger. After more than 2 minutes of the trainee struggling to get the copious amount of blood spewing from my sons finger into the vial the trainer jumps in with no gloves on at first, became visibly frustrated and jammed the vial on my son’s finger causing him more pain and likely trauma. I will leave this feedback on the survey they send, but I was also told the nurses and the pediatrician are not employeed by the same branches of upmc so who knows…

I am beyond pissed, specifically at their RIDC office. This is the 12th time I’ve called them and have been met with hold times of up to an hour. I have never once called and got through in anything under 10 min. They never answer their phone. You can’t get in touch with anyone. When you FINALLY get through after being on hold for 45 min, they tell you they’re full and they can’t take your child for a sick visit. Time to look for another office. Supposed to be a healthcare provider for kids, but what’s the point when you can’t help them?! At least hire staff to answer your phones and pretend you care.

Not welcoming if you are Black, Muslim, or dont vaccinate. In fact, when took my children the White Female doctor came off suspicious of everything and in my opinion became a bit invasive with questions that had nothing to do with a well child check up. My husband came with me and it was very obvious that she was trying to separate us, as well as separate our kids from us to be alone with them. I signed papers declining vaccinations and some other things within our rights as parents. When I was going to have my husband sign as the witness, she tried to be the witness instead of him. Why, would i sign a legally binding document between me and a practice and make the practice the witness? And why would you try to exclude my husband? Recently, my son had a bug bite or something on his eyelid. I took him to emergency to be safe. 3 days later a nurse calls under orders of the doctor which is fine. But shes being very pushy about how many times he took the antibiotics and benadryl. It was more than a normal need to know. It was suspicious AGAIN. So understand, Most of these pediatricians do not support the idea of parents who dont vaccinate. And there are multiple studies that show bias against non white families, religously based families, and families who dont believe you havs to overdrug their children, or give doctors more rights than parents. Find a doctor who supports parents rights to be more homeopathic, one not affected by White prejudice toward other races and religions and youll be good. We have since found a Muslim PCP.

I would like to give zero stars to the office staff. On October 26 th @ 8:30, I called the RIDC office thinking I was calling the Natrona Heights office. I needed to find out what time my child’s appointment was for. Once the lady found out that my child’s appointment was at their sisters office in Natrona Heights. She SCREAMED the time to me and told me that I was calling the wrong office. I could not believe it. It was like I was being scolded by my Mother. I am in my late 40s and refused to be treated this way without saying something. Treat people the way you wanna be treated.

To the person that treated me this way. I have been answering phones also and taking appointments for many years and not once have I ever screamed or treated someone the way that you treated me. Sorry I called the wrong office. The office that you work at is tied in with the one in Natrona Heights. And sometimes we have to use the one in RIDC Park. It was not a problem for you to give me the time of my child’s appointment. Nor did you have to raise your voice the way you did. For future reference. The appropriate way to of handled this would’ve been to say to me (The time of your child’s appointment is and are you aware that you are calling the RIDC office?)
It’s that simple! It is very important to be nice to people. Otherwise you will always be miserable.

On hold right now for 40 min trying to make an appointment for a sick visit. No one’s picking up the phone. Incredibly frustrating.

No one answers the phone regardless of when you call, and while our experience with the nurses are great, the doctor we see leaves much to be desired (including writing things in our baby's chart regarding her treatment, but not informing us, so we let her suffer needlessly for an extra 3 weeks despite seeing said doctor multiple times and bringing up her discomfort each time).
