I recently came here and was treated for high blood pressure during pregnancy. I did not have to wait long before being seen, bathrooms were clean, and I had a much better experience than I did at Magee, which is supposed to be a women’s focused hospital.

They were always the best service when I didn't want to go to mercy anyway had been given several doctors I felt really comfortable with sometimes the er don't listen and if you go alot and they don't find something you have some that can be a little rude or a t like they'd take care but at the time when I first went they was on top of things. I understand not believing people when you run the test and it shows ok and then you keep having the same problem they start to doubt tou

The ER staff was amazing. Incredibly caring and comforting when I was in the worst pain of my life. I didn't have to wait very long either time I was there and felt like I was in good hands the entire time.

I hate hospital stays, but this one was my best experience, the staff was amazing! (10 out of 10) They made the experience bearable and I felt well taken care of and in good hands! Only Hospital I will use from now on.

I was on the orthopedic floor after hip replacement surgery and the nurses and therapy department were amazing. I couldn’t have gotten any better care

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with my trip to the ER for mental health. I was treated with dignity and respect the entire time by all of the staff, and that’s really impressive. Thankfully I was discharged home at the nurse’s recommendation, but all of the staff was truly wonderful. Like I mentioned, I was very pleasantly surprised by this as this was not the case the last time I was here. Good work, Jefferson! Thanks for the care!

Our family could not be thankful enough for the care we received from the staff in Floor 5 Cardiac Care Unit (if I remember right, I believe it was the west wing?) for my brother during his treatment of pneumonia in December/January. He was transferred down there from the ICU and our entire family was treated with nothing but kindness, respect, dignity and attentive care. From the nurses, nursing technicians, nursing assistants, physicians, phlebotomy department personnel, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, cardiac attendings, housekeeping, cafeteria/meal delivery employees- everyone was PHENOMENAL (Apologizes if we missed anyone- so many phenomenal people it was hard to keep track! :) ). My brother has Down syndrome, so we are always cognizant and aware of how medical personnel treat him as a patient- his care team consistently went above and beyond. They always ensured he was included in the treatment plans, explaining every procedure that would be done, how it may feel, if he had questions etc. They always treated him as a "regular" patient, something we are always grateful for.

The staff also always went above and beyond to ensure if my family and I needed anything, consistently checking to see if we needed food, water/coffee, bedding, anything we needed. Above and beyond what any of us expected. We are eternally grateful for the amazing staff in this wing and those that were on his care team- we love you all! <3

Shout out to Dr. Kim, Alyssa, Connie, and TT....So wonderful and FAST! Went to the emergency room. I got a CT scan and an ultrasound. I waited in the waiting room for maybe 2 minutes. I was out of there with peace of mind in less than 2 hours. I love Jefferson hospital and will be recommending them if anyone asks!

I came to have surgery set up through my PCP and the waiting room was pretty crowded upon arrival. I thought the staff was efficient and friendly and it truly amazed me how much has to be done for each patient. Staff worked together like a well-oiled machine. We'd all like to be taken care of immediately, but life isn't always like that so patience is a virtue. Every employee there, regardless of title, has a job and they do it well. I was in and out in under 24 hours and everyone there was pleasant and appeared to genuinely care. Shout outs to Lyda, Dean, Tara, Gina and Surgeon Laura Chanlatte among the many that made this experience a pleasant one.

I took my 6 year old here today… from the moment we used the valet and walked into the ER to the time we left, everyone was amazing!

We were taken back to triage immediately upon registering, the intake was quick and immediately followed by xrays. We didn’t wait for more than 5 minutes for anything to happen and were in and out in under an hour!

Special shout-out to Steve M who took my sons xrays, put a splint on him and personally scheduled for him to have a cast put on in the morning! The staff was all incredible, took care of my son, made myself and my 9 year old feel safe, relaxed and laughing - even when my brave 6 year old had completely broken his arm!

Thank you to Steve M and the rest of the ER staff for making our visit the best it could possibly be!

My dad went in with a stroke needing significant care and rehab. Every day when I visit he tells me about another great nurse such as Desiree, or one of the people that bring his food and cut it up for him because he can only use one arm (I wish I could remember her name), or how good the food is.

He has had nothing but positive things to say.

Amazing hospital. I went here at 4:00 in the morning in agonizing pain. Staff up front was friendly they immediately got me in. Between the nurses the cleaning staff the doctors I cannot say enough great stuff about them. They listened they were kind they were professional they did their tests. I had to go in there with my 10-year-old son because at 4:00 in the morning I couldn't get a hold of his father, they were great with him got him a drink along with warm blankets. Turns out I ended up having an 8 mm kidney stone so they admitted me. My child was allowed to come up with me until his grandmother got there to pick him up. Initially my surgery wasn't until 6: 00pm then they changed it to 5: 00pm, and then at 1:30 in the afternoon they asked me if I would like to go in because they had a cancellation. They got me in placed a stent the doctors and nurses and anesthesiologist all amazing, helped calm my nerves and anxiety...(I only worry about what I said as I was coming out of the Twilight- I have no recollection of it but I'm just hoping I was nice )
I cannot say enough great things about this hospital. I have no idea why they have such a low rating, they are amazing.

My mother was recent a patient at Jefferson. She came in as OP for heart cath. Everyone from the parking Assistant, Registration,
Christine in the surgery center check in, to every nurse and person we encountered was super nice and caring and professional. I'm a nurse, so my standards of care are high. They met all of my expectations! Every nurse used every infection control technique that they should have.... her inpatient nurses Sarah, RN and Bradleigh, RN on the 5th floor cardiac PCU were amazing and so sweet!! And all the staff on the floor are great, especially unit clerk Beth!! Dr. Slemenda, cardiology, was also fabulous and made my mom and all of us feel comfortable. Even shared the pictures of the before and after cath pics. Her cardiologist Dr. Rubin isn't doing caths and we were concerned about getting her the next best.... Dr. Slemenda met and exceeded our expectations! Thank you to everyone at Jefferson my mom's home doing well!!

I was in the hospital for about a week dealing with a infection in my ankle and foot. And I can't say enough about how well I was taking care of during this process. I would like to thank Dr Shaw and Dr Scott you both really made sure that this painful process went as good as it could have. I also need to thank my doctors who did the surgical procedures. Dr. Coopa and Dr Winter from Gateway Foot and Ankle. I was in room 4152. To the nurse's and nurses aids, thank you for showing nothing less than absolute kindness. To the dietary folks, the meals you prepared were as good as anything that I've ever eaten. And last but not least, to the gentleman that came to my room with a new remote for the tv so I could hear the sound thank you also. The tv was the only distraction from my ankle.

I delivered my baby here this weekend and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Brandon did an excellent job with my epidural, I had zero pain and I mean it. The nurses went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I. The midwives were so kind and considerate and very knowledgeable of their trade. I had no doubts about getting the best care possible from them. I would recommend this hospital to anyone wanting to deliver in a safe clean environment. The food is delicious also!

Our beloved mother and M-i-L had to be admitted to Jefferson twice. Both times the ER staff was amazing. Very compassionate, extremely efficient, and cared for a 94 year old woman as if it was their own mom. Throughout her stay, she was cared for with the utmost respect and compassion by everyone. Her stay on the 5th floor was extremely wonderful. The nurses and staff were with her 24/7 were exceptional and caring. She was moved to the 4th floor for hospice where she was cared for diligently, professionally and with compassion. We are forever grateful for the warmth that we felt from everyone in the entire hospital. I would highly recommend the professional staff at Jefferson. They are the BEST!

My mom and dad have raved about this this hospital for procedures they have had in the past. My dad last year had a by-pass and mom has had surgery there as well. Dad just had a hip replacement and I was there for it. To say anything, or rate this hospital is all positive. Very attentive nurses and doctors. Everyone from the check in to the recovery room to the in-room care is incredible. I have never met a more caring bunch of professionals.

Also wanted to throw out a thumbs up to the valet guy and the nice lady at the surgery parking center who gives you the pass to park. Awesome people.

I just want to give a shout out to all of the midwives and the delivery floor here. The nurses and doctors were all so amazing through everything during my pregnancy I don't know how I would have done it without them seriously. They were so nice educational and supportive. They didn't make you feel stupid or worry at anytime. I highly recommend choosing this hospital to care for you and your child if your pregnant.
