Good coffee!

A solid C-Store but could use a redesign as I find the order point here too awkward and cramped to use. Interesting for a store centered around their made to order (as there are no pumps here).

There are no fuel pumps at this location, so this location is supposed to focus on the MTO kitchen and the MTO food is decent. That being said, there's a decent chance whether the kitchen will be open or not every time you go in (this includes pre-COVID) and the kitchen has not been open in the mornings at all for years. The ready-made section also has very limited selection. It feels like this location is really just out to cater to the smokers and the drunks/addicts of South Side that are looking for convenience store munchies.

Update: In the past year or so this location has seen improvements. The MTO kitchen is open the majority of the time, including mornings. They have also expanded the selection in their ready-made section.

I've been to many other GetGos, this one for some reason throttles their prices. A breakfast sandwich costs $2.99 at the McKnight store, here it costs $3.99. Same thing with coffee, it's about ¢80 more expensive- doughnuts are ¢30-50 more expensive. They don't have veggie cups, the general selection of premade food is small. It's weird seeing a GetGo without a fuel station attached, so you'd think they'd have more to offer inside... but no.
The kitchen makes good food, though, and the staff is nice. I have no issue with the people that work the day shift there, my low rating is due to the store, prices, and lack of variety.

Great quality in products and prices. Staff is average. Drunk people are annoying most nights.

I have tried ordering for here 3 times. Twice the order was wrong. Frankly the food is not that good. One of the times it was wrong the staff asked if i wanted to replace the order with the correct one. They just did not want to fix it.

Definitely not as good as sheets service they mess up orders.

SLOOOOOWWWW!!! Don't bother going their on your lunch break if you're trying to order food. I work across the street, less than a 5 minute walk. I get a half hour break and I didn't even make it back in time to eat! I saw the guy in the kitchen just leave several times. I ordered Mac and cheese and waited 15 minutes for it. He seemed in no rush whatsoever and then when I get my food, it's all soupy with cheese and runny. I should have just gotten the frozen stuff!

I bought a personal pizza it was horrible it was under the heat lamp way to long the crust was rock hard and the cheese was cold and reheated to many times the sauce was ketchup and not Heinz

Unbelievably hostile.

I went in for coffee around 9pm or so. There was a worker pretending to clean the coffee station. I mean she just stood there in my way with a spray bottle and a rag, randomly moving stuff around while I got my cup.

So I walk around to the other side and start putting sugar my cup, THEN she starts spraying the counter right next to my cup so I had to hold the cup with one hand and shake the sugar out of the packets with the other hand to avoid getting cleaning solution in my cup. While I was doing that, she moved to block my way to the coffee machine so I had to walk all the way up the aisle and back again to make my coffee.

By that time, she had moved back to the spot between the coffee machines and the sugar and cream counter so that I had to reach past her back to work the machine. I mentioned that the machine needs to be cleaned inside. She told me it's not her job to clean it and they don't pay her enough to carry messages to the manager.

While all this is going on, the cashier and security guard just stood there staring at me like they were about to do something. Said not a word. Some people should just stay home if they don't want to work!

I went here to order breakfast food walk in and find paper over both touch screens that you order on. I’m not surprised because the one has had a out of order sign on it for the last month. So I walk over to ask the cashier how I can order food and she barks back at me. Didn’t you see the sign there is no food today. I look over out of shock to see two employees in the kitchen making food. I ask well if there is no food how come they are making food. And the cashier says out of discuss “that’s their food their making for themselves “. Wow good to know the employees are literally stealing food for themselves and refusing to sell it. There was no “sorry for the inconvenience” just a bunch of people with high school attitudes.
