Dorido's Restaurant

This place is absolutely amazing! Fresh fish, excellent service and such a hospitable, cozy and friendly atmosphere. The mashed potatoes were to die for. Can’t wait to return.

My Husband & I planned on visiting this restaurant tonight but I fell ill so my husband picked up our order even though I was skeptical of takeout seafood lol.

Well, I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was packaged with care. Everything was separated. The quality of the packaging is top notch. Although I haven’t been able to fully indulge in everything I did try a bite of everything & was not disappointed!! The fish is delicious. The crab cake is full of meat & also delicious. I really love the zucchini fries (I was able to eat more than a bite of those, more like half the serving lol!) My husband really loved the fried clams & said they were the best he’s ever had at a restaurant.

Additionally, the woman who took our order on the phone was so kinda & a pleasure to speak to. Hopefully next time, we will actually be able to sit down & enjoy a meal here but for the time being I can assure you I won’t hesitate to order takeout from here. The prices are amazing for the quality & amount of food you receive.

Excellent choice. First time here and will be back to try other things. 2 teenaged girls can find food to eat and enjoy is a winner! The price range on menu items means something for everyone! Highly recommend! Steak salad baby back ribs and broiled seafood platter is delicious! Update: we have eaten here plenty of times, the food is always wonderful service excellent, we enjoy how they all work together! Will continue to enjoy coming here!

Outstanding food. Ordered stuffed cod and mashed potatoes ,excellent. Open face prime rib was a beautiful slice of prime rib on garlic bread with au jus. Service was great and all of the staff seemed really happy, worked well together, some even singing along to the music . Great atmosphere and overall experience. So glad we stopped by and we're already thinking of bringing friends along next time.

If I could give service a 10, I would! This was a first time meeting between my mom & her biological brothers, my uncles....we sat for 3 hrs & everyone working there was so accommodating. I can't thank everyone enough! The food was out of this world, especially the fish sandwich & fried oysters!

The fish was huge & falling off the plate. I don't think I've ever eaten anywhere that they didn't forget to bring something out...like ranch or mayo, but it didnt happen here. You get a lot of food for a very reasonable price. The place was packed the whole time we were there. All the staff were nice & friendly. Definitely worth a trip to South Hills!

There aren't enough adjectives to describe Doritos. Best food clean best service everyone knows what they're talking about there and they check on you all the time to make sure everything is to your liking best food in that area I've ever had

We've been twice and both times I was impressed with the quality of the food. Portions are large and the prices are reasonable. There's no reason to go to fast casual restaurants when you can have meals this delicious at far better prices!

Had a wonderful meal. The broiled scallops were delicious and stuffed cod had an entire crab cake. Nice portion sizes. Staff was very friendly and provided excellent service.

Even with a crowd service is fast as all waiters and waitress are able to assist you. Food is great. Best fish in Pittsburgh. Friendly atmosphere.

Always a good time and incredible beers to go with the food worth a try if you haven't been here yet!

The gal’s at Doridos rock my world. They all work together and share tables so perfectly. The service is outstanding and everyone who works there (back of the house included) are such sweet and wonderful people. I’ve tried almost everything on their seafood menu and I can’t even pick a favorite. French onion soup, crab cakes, scallops are to DIE FOR. Their sangria is an insane serotonin booster. Looooove their cocktail sauce too. Great rotating local beer selection. This is my go-to place and I take everyone who comes and visits me from out of town here. They’ve been around so long this is where my grandparents’ would go on date nights. Cannot recommend enough!

This place is always packed, and there's a good reason for that. Food is bomb! Best seafood in the area for sure. If you're there during lunch and dinner rush expect a short wait. They cook the broiled scallops perfectly, which is pretty difficult I guess judging by other restaurants. Try the calamari too!

Staff was exceptional, food was delicious. It was busy at lunchtime but our server kept up with us. My scallops were perfectly done and I left a content woman. I went there upon the recommendation of a friend and Dorido's did not disappoint! This will certainly be the place I go when I am craving seafood.

I have been going to this place as long as I can remember and it’s so good every time. Not only that, but we’ve never had a bad staff experience. Or a bad experience at all. I HIGHLY suggest the mini tacos

Awesome place you want a good fish sandwich this is the spot! Just a word of advice to you order the small fish sandwich it's enough to feed 2! I shutter to think what the large looks like! The service was awesome!!!

Lives up to it's reputation of very good food. Not just bar food. Crab cakes were excellent. Party of six--everyone enjoyed their meal.

I love this place! The fish sandwich is excellent! French onion soup is pretty good. A lot of the other food is okay, but not great. The service is always good even when it is busy. Very generous portions. One of my go-to restaurants in the area.
