I was taught to chose a funeral home that was of your culture. 9 years ago my family chose Corl. Not our culture. We could not have made a better choice! Unfortunately, we have had to use Jim's services several more times over the years and he remembers us and treats us like family! Will never go anywhere else!

As prepared as we think we are, the loss of a loved one is like getting a left hook. You never quite anticipate the breadth of emotions.

Jim was so kind & patient with my brother and me. He discussed all of our options and was very realistic about the challenges of having a standard funeral during COVID. We ultimately decided to keep it simple, primarily because those were my Dad's wishes. Jim provided guidance to navigate the inquiries we inevitably received from those who loved him & wanted to pay their respects. There was never any pressure to upsell the services we ordered. Jim gave us the information & let us make the ultimate decision.

Corl Funeral Home is traditional & considerate in their approach to one of the most difficult transitions we all face as human beings. Genuine concern for the well-being of the family affected is foremost.

I recently lost my Dad and contacted the Corl Funeral Chapel to help with the process of honoring his life. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were. Jim Atticks helped us every step of the way and my Dad had a send off to be proud of. We also used the Corl Florist Shop. Elsie helped us pick out beautiful Fall flower arrangements and Cheryl did a beautiful job with them . They were compassionate and very competent and made a very difficult time seamless and without flaw. I would highly recommend Corl Funeral Chapel.

Corl Funeral Home did an exceptional job with the funeral of my grandfather. They were able to accomodate us on short notice and make a difficult process as easy as possible. They did an excellent job with flowers. And made sure that my grandfather was properly honored for his service to country. Would highly recommend Corl Funeral Home to any in the Monroeville area.

We buried my Mother today and the entire process working with Jim was painless and comforting. The entire process start to finish was seamless. I would recommend them to anyone needing a funeral home.

I went to Corl on August 1st to get flowers for my wedding on August 2nd. How ironic to go to a funeral home to get flowers for your wedding, right? Regardless, my neighbor said they had the best flowers in Monroeville-- which they absolutely do! Beautiful Gerbera Daisies, beautiful roses, and stunning baby's breath. All the flowers that I need for my big day! My neighbor and I walked into the store, and no one was there to serve us. We walked into the area with the flowers in the cooler, and took out a pre wrapped bunch of Gerbera Daisies to purchase. A few seconds later, a woman with glasses comes running down the steps saying, "Excuse me. What do you think you're doing? Customers don't go in the cooler." She then snatched the flowers from my hand, slammed the cooler, and stared at me. I calmly said, "Okay. I'm sorry. I didn't see a sign or anything. Well, we'd like those pink ones you just put back..." She stared at me again, and didn't respond. I then said, "Are you having a rough day?" and that question typically softens workers, because most ppl want to provide quality customer service. She said, "Yes," but still continued to be very rude. I then thanked her for her time, and told her that we would purchase flowers elsewhere. A few minutes ago, I called the own to suggest that they get a sign to put on the flower cooler so that customers don't just go in and help themselves. I also suggested that her employee's can nicely tell ppl whatever they have to say... there is no reason I should have felt attacked. The manager angrily said, "I have been in business for 57 years. Don't tell me how to run anything. I don't come in your house and go into your refrigerator. So, don't do it in mine." She then hung up on me.

I respect that they don't want ppl going into there cooler. However, when you walk into the store, the cooler is immediately on the back wall. You don't have to go through a set of doors or walk past a cash register... or go up any steps. Any reasonable person would believe that they can access, and are supposed to, get there own flowers and then pay for them. Many other floral shops have this system, as well.

Overall, do NOT go here. They are unreasonable, rude, and not customer oriented.
