Z-Best Barbeque Chicken & Ribs

True to it’s name, it is Z BEST BARBECUE. Fair prices, and a $2 discount for students. Can’t get enough of their collard greens. A great place to go after a weekend home game.

Z best is the name for it seasoned perfectly I got the wing dinner with greens and mac n cheese I recommend everyone go see the girls they told me I'd be in again and their right!!!!

Tried the pork and ribs here, both were excellent. The Cole slaw was awesome, I didn't dig the Mac and cheese- too cheddary.
Not a lot of room to sit down and eat, so this is best for pickup and go. The people behind the counter were excellent and very customer oriented.
It's pretty good bbq for the price, has a mom and pop shop type of warmth and feel. The picture is of the Z's pork sandwich to go.

Amazing cornbread, macaroni and cheese, and ribs. I ordered a half pan of the Mac and Cheese for a party; and when I came to pick it up they asked if I could wait ten minutes because they wanted to brown it better for the ideal presentation. They even gave me a side to eat while waiting! Great people and great food.

Classic hole in the wall BBQ. Seems like most people walk on pass missing out on this gem. The sauces are great. The portion sizes for the price are as good as it gets. The sides are incredible. I recommend the mac n cheese and sweet potatoes. Best BBQ in the Burgh hands down.

This place is fantastic. Everything from the meat to the cornbread is considerately cooked. If you're like me, you'll want to finish it in one seating but will be stopped because you're full. I highly recommend the combo of the ribs and the chicken and can't commend them enough on their mac n cheese!

Most definitely some of the BEST BBQ in the "Burg". Price points are also some of the BEST in Pittsburgh BBQ. Hot sauce is very good and slightly sweet. Perfect sized chicken wings and not those steroid and hormone laced birds. Potato salad was good but had a lot of dill pickle taste to it. The Mac/cheese is superb BUT it was extremely salty. Grains of salt can be felt while chewing/eating it and although it was salty, I'd chance it and order it again WITHOUT all that salt. It was that good.

My wife and I love their ribs and chicken! And their sweet potato bread pudding is out of this world. I love the collard greens and mac n cheese too!!! My wife goes nuts for their chocolate cake! I highly recommend this restaurant if you love bbq!!!!

My family and I was vacationing in Pittsburg this past weekend and decided to try this place out and needless to say that it was amazing. I had a rib dinner with Mac & Cheese and Sweet Potatoes, Everythi9ng was delicious. The staff was friendly, the food was hot and filling. It is a must try when you go to PA. next time I will be back.

The food was amazing! I'm from Saint Louis and I just knew it would be hard to find good bbq out here and I was definitely mistaken. The people were so nice even though I placed my order close to closing time. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended

Visiting town for a the Pittsburgh Marathon and eating Whole30. BBQ is usually a good thing for me, as long as there is no sauce. This place did NOT disappoint. The 1/2 rack of ribs was deliciously smoked and were whole ribs with the tips and all, not just the bones. The wings were amazing, as well, and fell off the bone. I did get an odd look when I asked for no sauce, though. It was a short walk from my hotel downtown (about a half mile), and the prices were very reasonable for the quantity received. I'll be going back next time I'm in town!!! A++

Z-Best Barbeque have really good food. The ribs are nice and tender as well as the chicken wings and pulled pork. I just love the mac-n-cheese, greens, and sweet potatoes. They give you alot of food to. I definitely recommend all of the above

This is down home cooking with excellent green beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and oh yeah,falling off the bone finger licking good ribs and chicken. Go dry rub or sauce, you can't go wrong. Never too much smoke or seasoning, and all at a great price. Highly recommend and always stop by when at a game or event .

I love them because they always hook me up and portions are hearty!! It takes me two sittings to finish one of their dinners every time!! Yall keep it up!! If you're looking for a bomb soul food plate with mac n cheese on fleek?...Z best bbq is it!! Been eating here since 2016 and they never disappoint!!

Delicious food! The mac and cheese, the candied yams and the dumplings... These were some of my favorite sides. I also had the grilled barbecue chicken and the sauce was delicious. Definitely don't pass this one up!

Wow. I've been down south, I've had BBQ in New Orleans, in Tennessee, Nashville... Z Best was like going to the South without leaving the Burgh. All the staff was smiling and happy and I cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend it!

My first choice for a BBQ in Pittsburgh, closest thing to home cooking on a commercial level I've tasted. In my past 4 years of going here I've never seen consistency or quality and especially. Everyday it's amazing and on some days it's Spectacular!!!
