My husband and I are from out of the area and were looking for home cooked pancakes and breakfast, and we were not disappointed! Comfortable, small, quaint little diner with made to order foods with the best bacon and breakfast potatoes I've had in my life - not just im Pittsburgh. Extremely friendly cook and great food.

The food is great, and the staff is friendly and down to earth. The atmosphere made me feel like a valued customer. It was my first time getting steak.
The only problem was there was a lot of fat on my steak, or it would've been 5 stars for food

Food: Very Good. Their food is properly seasoned and homey. One of the best places for breakfast/brunch/dinner in the Hill.

Service: Very Good. Their service is pretty prompt with all workers being respectful. The place is cozy so can easily get packed at times.

Overall: Recommend. Wether it’s for lunch or dinner, if you’re nearby this location, feel free to indulge yourself and let me know what you think.

This place here is FIRE!!! My food just got off the grill, ppl there are friendly and welcoming!! We need more places like this. Highly recommend❣👍🏼

this honestly might be one of the only original and authentic restaurants in the greater pittsburgh area, grandma b's is has the greatest costumer service i've seen. the guy working there will make your day that much better, they bring you in and make you feel at home. the food there is also epic, 5 stars from me

Best breakfast in the city. Please try the loaded breakfast fries. You won't be disappointed. The french toast melts in your mouth. I have no idea what they put in the iced tea but it's amazing!!! I can't wait to go back.

Food is soooo good! Best "hole in the wall" home cooked diner feel. Owner is super nice! I got the big g combo and it was great! The gourmet tea is literally to die for, I'd drink a whole gallon of it! Highly recommend! FYI, cash only here!

This place was great. My son and I sat at the counter, next to an awesome Pittsburgh native named Daniel, who treated us to "the best sweet tea in the world." It certainly was the best I ever had! There were two gentlemen working there, one taking orders and serving the food, the other cooking. Busy as it was, the two kept things running like clockwork. Watching the chef was like watching an artist at work. And the food was delicious! My son had the steak, cheese eggs and home fries and I had the loaded breakfast fries. Upon the counterman's recommendation, we both had the sweet sauce, which was excellent. The chef treated us to some French toast, and although I wouldn't have thought I could eat another bite after my generous meal, I had no problem wolfing down the tasty toast. It's not a fancy place, but it was fresh, friendly and a wonderful experience.

The fam & I stopped in for breakfast on our last morning in Pittsburgh. The food is great and Dorian was so cool to talk with while we were there. We felt very welcomed! We will definitely be back when we are back in town. Steeler Nation!
