After Doctor Bentz retired, I had no choice other than find a new docror to be my PC. I tried several docs at Genesis Medical and none were as friendly and competent as Dr Scheri. He is a caring Doctor that learns about you and your medical history. He is the medical Director of St Francis Skilled Nursing Facility in Cranberry. He knows how to treat patients and how to treat their medical problems. I would highly recommend Dr Scheri in the AGH facility on Route 19 North in Wexford where he spends the majority of his time. You can also see him at the North Hills office, but only one day per week. If it weren't for Dr Scheri I would not be using Genesis Medical. In my opinion he is their star.

My wife and I both see Dr Scheri and we always have very positive experiences. He is always thorough and takes his time to listen.

Has been a great help to my family of six for 10+ years. Keeps up with his research. Good listener. Willing to try new things. Calm. Office staff is terrific. New urgent-care hours too. Allegheny Health Network.

I am having the worst time getting these people to call in a script for birth control. They keep giving me a 1 or 2 month supply. I was told by a nurse there that if they contacted my ob/gyn they could call in a year's supply. I picked up a month's supply with 1 refill. Today I was told that they need to see me. This is the first that they've mentioned my needing to come in for a yearly physical for birth control. I just generally have my regular doctor call in my birth control and never have I had so many problems with it. I wish the nurse had just told me to contact ob/gyn call originally, as it would have saved me many phone calls to these people.

Were it not for the fact that I'm lazy, getting married and probably getting a new doctor anyways, and that I know the PAs there are nice, I would switch immediately.

If I could post a 0 star I would. Dr. Scheri had treated me when I had pancreatitis. As my lipase numbers were crawling by the hour he cut off my pain meds. When someone goes to a hospital with pancreatitis its to control their pain. When you stop controlling that pain why is that person there. The reason for Dr Scheri cutting my meds is because he thought my pulse was too low but as a doctor you would think he would check what other medications I am on. Now if Dr. Scheri had done this he would realize that I'm on metoprolol and you know what that does? Slows the heart rate. If he looked a little harder he would see I have a lifetime history of a low pulse. So maybe instead of cutting what his patient needs Dr Scheri should do his homework and and find a little more out about his patient.
