Flavio's Restaurant

Wonderful experience. Our family has been eating here for 30+ years. We had my grandparents 50th anniversary, our wedding rehearsal dinner, and every time we are in the area we take my parents here. If there was a place like this near where we lived, we would eat there 2x per month.

Please note the photos were from October 22, 2022 (for menu prices, etc). The petite filet remains at 48 dollars for 8oz, cooked to perfection. The photos are of Veal Marsala, Chicken Marsala, Filet Mignon and Cheesecake.

Try it, you will not be disappointed. You must call for a reservation, they can not accommodate walk-ins and be patient, it is a relaxed meal that is not rushed.

Great experience! First, I appreciated that when we made a reservation, the woman on the phone explained the kitchen is short staffed and there is a wait on meals. Everything is made to order, so this is not a problem, but transparency is appreciated to set expectations accordingly!
Devina provided outstanding service. She was so kind and accommodating and attentive to our needs. She made excellent recommendations for food and drinks which we took and we were happy we did! She made this experience memorable. Our food was excellent and our margaritas were delicious and had a perfect tequila to mix ratio. We will definitely return!

The service was spot on, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was very relaxing! Highly recommend.

The food is worth the wait!

Yesterday was Mom and my first visit to Flavio's. We were hungry for a good Italian meal and they didn't disappoint!

We didn't know that reservations were required; the young woman greeted us upon entering explained the policy politely. She offered to speak to her boss to see if they could accommodate us. A couple of minutes later she returned saying that it was no problem because they were slow that night (it was a Sunday evening).

Devina was our waitress. Talk about awesome service and very personable! She made sure we were happy with every aspect of our visit. My Mother has special dietary concerns and she worked with the cook to make sure things were right. Talk about going out on the limb! Flavio's has a true gem with Devina.

The food itself was nothing short of just awesome! You can tell it was homemade. What a difference. It made it feel like you were at home enjoying Grandma's homemade dinner.

Very well worth the trip and Mom and I are looking forward to going back!

RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED! But we got lucky when we stopped because we didn't know. We will definitely be back WITH RESERVATIONS. The food was amazing! And the people ever so nice. It was a perfect local find!

Flavio’s is an amazing restaurant. The chef, Pete, makes everything to perfection and the food is absolutely delicious. We go at least once a week, and my wife has gone every week since she was a kid. We have taken friends there and they always ask when we’re going back. Everything is fresh and homemade. This is an amazing restaurant with amazing staff. You can sit down and enjoy drinks with family and friends. It’s real fine dining and a MUST go to place. Truly one of a kind. The owners take pride in quality food, quality service, and real satisfaction. If you want cheap frozen food and to be rushed out asap, go to Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, etc...if you want amazing, authentic food, go to Flavios!!!

I know Flavio’s has been around for quite some time, but this was our second time in. Both of our visits have been fantastic. The food is absolutely delicious. I can safely say they have the best homemade gnocchi I have found in the Greater Pittsburgh area! The dining room has a classic look and feel. Service wise, they are very open about it likely being a slower dining experience due to staffing issues. I would highly recommend giving this place a shot!

Devina was SUCH An amazing waitress! I absolutely adore her. First time there and will definitely come back again because of her and also the food was hands down the best in the area and surrounding areas. 5 stars! Everything was delicious. Ill see you next month for my birthday. I cannot wait to come back.

An absolute amazing dinner for 4 last night at Flavios for a dear friend’s birthday. The owner went out of her way to make us feel special, the food was outstanding, and our waitress, Devina, was the best! She made the evening so enjoyable with her fun personality! We are still laughing today! 🤣

Our first time visiting this long standing establishment. Family run, "old school" kind of place nestled in the little town of Apollo. Please note that we learned that you must have a reservation, as the restaurant like most everyone is facing staffing issues. When we called for our reservation for 7pm, it was made clear to us (politely) that they would love to have us,
but that the food may take some time to arrive due to staffing issues. I was glad she told us, as this set proper expectations. The restaurant was clean and bustling when we arrived. We were immediately greeted in a friendly fashion. We were immediately seated. The waitress was quirky but in a good way and friendly, warm and attentive. The salad with homemade Italian dressing was simply excellent. We ordered bruschetta, it was good. As expected, the main course did take some time to arrive, but again the waitress was very attentive, getting us drinks and providing status updates. As for the entrees, I had homemade gnocchi with meatballs, very good and a nice sized portion. My wife had Chicken Romano, very tasty. We wish this place all the best and hope that they can resolve the staffing issues soon.

Two south African lobster tails 8oz fillet OMG I have eaten lobster from Main to Florida and hit it every time. The staff....amazing .

or so years. The food is uniformly excellent and served steaming hot, and the staff friendly and helpful. What more could you want?

Jackie our waitress was excellent. Our food was excellent. The veal piccata was so good. The wedge salad was excellent. Our drinks were excellent. The tiramisu was excellent. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back again. If you plan on going make sure you call in advance to make reservations due to the stipulation set by the governor of only 25% of people. It's a smaller place so they cannot really take walk-ins.

Flavois is a wonderful place to go for dinner. I love going there. The food is cooked to perfection!

As I read the one or two average reviews I wonder if people are just haters. I've been coming to Flavios for 30 years and for every experience I've had there,its been nothing but stellar. From the cleanliness of the restrooms,to the incredible staff. The food is incredible from the shrimp,to the veal,to the deserts. One of the few places I can still get polenta.the atmosphere is great. If you want a great dinner/experience, check it out. Love it!

My first visit here was impressive. Decor somewhat dated but very well kept. The food was Excellent ! The atmosphere very pleasant, quiet you could have a conversation without distractions. Services was impeccable. Food came out piping hot. A little pricey but no doubt well worth it. We will definitely be making Flavios one of our favorites.

Amazing food and staff. A family owned restaurant that is a local treasure. Hopefully we will have it for years to come.
