Great food, even better people from waitresses to owner, all around a wonderful time. The lamb appetizer was superb, and the peanut butter mousse was fantastic. The peanut butter and jelly bacon burger (now don't be alarmed, hear me out) was fantastic, as well, and so worth the try during their Thursday burger night. You've probably heard the flavor of burger before and you're skeptical, but take the plunge without regret.

A seemingly nondescript restaurant in an out of the way location. The exterior doesn't prepare you for what is inside. A combination of dated, dark and funky/classic. Very cool vibes. Great service staff and fantastic 4 star food. I couldn't get over the eclectic mix of music and decor coupled with (under priced) food that you would expect (and often don't receive) in a very expensive venue. A hidden gem!

Really robust menu full of steaks and seafood.

I came here for a special occasion, but the prices aren't too insane. I could definitely see people coming here for their weekly night out (ya know, married couples and whatnot).

Owner was a cool guy. Stopped by to check on us. Very friendly.

Also ran into one of my favorite bartenders ever - Chris! Knew him from back in the day. It was great to catch up and see him doing well.

We really enjoyed eating here. We tried 2 specials but there were many interesting choices on the regular menu. A great experience. Nice, cozy, atmosphere with delicious food and drinks. So glad we tried this place, we'll definitely be back!

We had the best dinner here! Frank and Diannah were phenomenal and so friendly! The food was AMAZING. I am so thrilled about this happy accident! We will be coming back anytime we are visiting.

We ate there for the first time last evening. The owner Frank was very gracious and made it a point to talk to all of the guests, he made people feel welcome, the atmosphere was comfortable, I'd say this is a casual place offering upscale dining options. We ate on the enclosed patio which was nice and toasty warm with propane heaters. They are following social distancing protocols. We actually sat at the bar which is now a socially distanced high top dining table. The menu had a nice variety of choices and most entrees were priced in the mid $20 range and included some PA Dutch foods unique to this area as well as some more diverse choices not found on other menus locally. Everything is homemade on the premises by the owner's wife Diannah including the rolls. I enjoyed the Malaysian shrimp and scallops with rice noodles and my husband had the jerk Rib eye steak. Both entrees were delicious, the portions were plentiful and the presentation was superb. We normally don't do dessert but they had choices that tempted us into trying them so my husband enjoyed the homemade chocolate pudding and I enjoyed the gingerbread ice cream sandwich which is a definite must try. I've never had anything like it and we'll be going back to have it again for sure. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

My girlfriend and I are from NY visiting her two sons. I googled top places to eat in Reading and found Frank & Diannah's Arbor Inn. Excellent food, stupendous service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly Recommend them without question.

Outstanding menu and attention to detail. The owner (Frank) spoke to all diners and made sure we were all satisfied with our experience. Having the owner be as enthused about the food and patrons is refreshing. We noted my wife's celiacs GF allergy and immediately were given menu options and alternate prep items to expand the choices. Our dinner was timely, delicious, and served by a very friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Do yourself the favor and try Frank & Diannah's.

We went on burger night and they were indeed really good burgers, though the fries were underwhelming.
Men's room is RIGHT by the entrance so be careful or you might bump into a guy who just peed and probably didn't wash his hands.
It's very dark wood energy that reminds me of a men's lounge from the movies but over all a decent place to get a bite.
Also they don't do take out at all which really bummed us out cuz someone in our party was sick and couldn't make it so we planned on getting take out for them but couldn't.

Had a great meal with friends. Food spectacular. Dessert delicious. Not a place for young children. Enjoyed the ambiance and great company and our super waitress Molly. And we were checked on regularly by the chef and owner.

This was our New Years Eve feast. Excellent food, staff and hosts. You really need to try this place!

Wonderful experience! Drinks and service exceptional. Food was presented beautifully, vibrant colorful and perfectly cooked. Can't wait to go back and try the duck!

My husband and I drive from Pittsburgh and always make sure we stop at Frank and Diannah’s on Burger Nite to taste test what crazy combination Frank comes up with for their burger!!! I love their burgers but I absolutely crazy about the Jager Schnitzel! See you guys next week!!! ;)

Oh my goodness. Talk about fresh food made with love. I wish I had taken a picture of my fig's stuffed with goat cheese. The figs were HOME GROWN AND PICKED FRESH. Our main meal was utterly amazing. Our server was so kind and sweet. She even asked for Id to match up my credit card with a name . I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Delicious appetizers , entrees and the best hamburgers ! These are not your typical burgers , it is a must try . Desserts all made in house and are delicious. Have tried many of the entrees and always left very happy and satisfied. Reservations are recommended.

I love being at a restaurant where the owner/operator stops at your table to see how everything is. Even if everything is great. This place is a hidden gem. You need to get here.

Excellent execution and delivery. Hannah was incredibly professional as a waitress. Frank's skill at customer service is polished and indicates decades of experience. The flavor profiles build off of time tested basic techniques into complex symphonies of culinary excellence. The bar managers pairing abilities went beyond a knowledge of wine showcasing an atypical ability to pair wine to both the style of the diner and the course ordered. Quite frankly this is a Manhattan level of excellence hidden away in Berks county. Highly recommended!

Excellent food, very friendly wait staff, large portions. I ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel w/Mushroom Cream Sauce, absolutely delicious, reminded me of the same dish that I had while on active duty in W. Germany.

We had a lovely dinner in the bar area, which was perfect since we had our 5 year old along. They have a nice kids menu. We had the special and the steak fries. Everything was great, including the service. Thank you for a nice dinner, we will definitely be back!

Finally made it for the Thursday night burger night. Great burger! So glad we went! Looking forward to visiting again.
