I had Johnny make my green velvet suit for my wedding. IT WAS AMAZING. It's been almost 2 months and people still haven't stopped talking it. It was a staple. There was some issues with another pair of pants for another suit I got and Johnny took care of it no. It was out of our control and he had the answer and got it ready in no time. The experience from beginning to end was awesome. Johnny was responsive, reliable, informative, and transparent. I never felt like I was being pushed into anything I didn’t want. A consultation to choose fabrics opened my eyes to what a modern custom suit can be. Johnny was super knowledgeable about the materials, production processes, and considered every detail from jacket lining to stitching on buttons. A few weeks later, I was back for a fitting. The final product is incredible. The plant-based bamboo fabric feels premium and is super comfortable. My only worry now is that I won’t get to wear it enough.

Was searching to get a custom suit for my wedding rather than a horrible rental. Came across CMMP and reached out via email. This is when I had my first encounter with Johnny, who was super punctual with responding to emails and was very informative. When we first met, Johnny was so personable and inviting. He had a wide variety of fabrics and patterns to go over based on email conversations. Seeing the layout showed that he paid attention to my requests, and during the face to face he was very informative on the different options. He was able to work with my budget and was upfront when showing me things ahead of time if they were out of budget and if I was still interested in seeing them. Johnny went above and beyond from day one. He kept me updated on the process of the suit making process and timeline estimates and at the end he bent over backwards to ensure my suit was perfect for my big day. My wife and I can never repay Johnny for that. I will never get married again (hopefully) but I am definitely going to upgrade my wardrobe and will be a repeat customer. My experience with Johnny at CMMP Pittsburgh was professional and intricate. He explained to me the quality and type of product I was getting. I was especially surprised at his measuring and tailor skills. I have wide shoulders and he was able to make my clothes fit unlike anything you buy on the shelf. Johnny is the sharpest dresser I know. I’ve been purchasing suits from him since 2018 and have always been taken care of better than any other brand or store in the Pittsburgh area. It’s more than measurements and fitting. It’s about the experience and the “why” the suit is needed. We got into a 20 minutes discussion on how a fabric will “drape” (hang) as I’m wearing it and how selecting the right fabric for the occasion. How to avoid bunching, which is a problem for me cause of my wide shoulders.

Bought a suit from Johnny for a wedding where I was the best man. It was the first time I'd bought a custom suit after having trouble finding one I could get altered appropriately off the rack for my last suit. Great experience from start to finish. I had told him what I was looking for before my appointment, and he had materials ready to go when I got there and made the whole thing very laid back. My brother went with me when I went to pick it up and we just ended up hanging out for a bit in the shop. Afterward, he said if he lived here, he'd want to buy a suit from Johnny too. Got a lot of compliments on the suit and was very happy with how it turned out.

Johnny is the man. I'd gotten suits tailored in the past, but this was my first, from scratch, custom suit. When I was initially presented with the thousands upon thousands of fabric options available, it was a little overwhelming, but Johnny was able to talk me through the options and the tailoring processes such that I could narrow it down to the style I was going for.
