Sensibly Armed Personal Protection Training and Indoor Pistol Range

Walked in for the first time the other morning because I had some questions for them before I made an online order and used them as the FFL. First impression was that they had a lot of merchandise in the store so for people who want to walk in and find something, they will definitely cater to all. Everyone working was very eager to answer questions and very knowlegdable. I saw negative reviews and it almost stopped me from going. But, after going and having the opportunity to experience it myself I did make the decision to use them as my FFL, now I’m just waiting for my stuff to arrive. I will definitely recommend them to any new shooters for an easy experience.

The training information was really informative and easy to comprehend. My instructor Eric explained everything well and answered all my questions. Once we got into the range, he spotted my errors and helped me correct them. Really great training course!!!!

I have been shooting at Sensibly Armed for the past 2 years and cannot imagine myself shooting at any other indoor range. My experience started over 2 years ago when I felt it was time to add a layer of protection for myself and family, but I had a lot of questions. I walked into the shop on a Sunday morning and was warmly greeted by a gentleman named Andy. He took the time to answer all of my questions and gave me the best advice of my life; take a class and learn how to shoot safely. I took that class at Sensibly Armed and I can see why that advice was given. I learned the proper way to handle a handgun safely and how to fire it safely. The staff there knows what they are talking about and have never even tried to be pushy to make a sale. I purchased my first handgun there and I am glad that I did. I am there once a week, every week and have seen the same staff almost every time. Of course staff changes, it changes at every business but some of the reviews posted are simply ludicrous. I have witnessed their interactions with many other customers and have NEVER EVER witnessed any behavior other than that of professionals who know their business and are first and foremost interested in safety. I would highly recommend Sensibly Armed to anyone interested in taking up shooting or is already a shooter and looking to make a purchase. They may be slightly higher priced than larger stores, Like Cabelas, but you absolutely get what you pay for. I have never regretted walking into Sensibly Armed that Sunday morning. I do not generally post reviews like this, but when I happened to read some of the negative comments, I knew that I had to try to set the record straight.

Honest gun smith's ! Brought in my two AR-15’s these guys went right to work like a nascar pit crew no joke!! Repaired my AR pistol and installed my new sight on AR Rifle ! Best customer service you could ask for!! Thank you for all your help!!!

I’ve been here a few times now. Each time I’ve been everyone working there have been amazing. Very kind and willing to help. Walked out today with a new handgun and I’m very pleased with it. Great prices great firearms and great staff. What more can you ask for….. On yeah they have a sweet indoor range. Thanks again guys!

Hey @divjeet cheema... The shop has video and audio of you pointing a loaded firearm at the employee.
Also... You were asked nicely to stop filming and asked nicely to not point a firearm.

All in all... You violated three rules and were asked to leave. You decided to argue. This is why you are not welcome to return.

My favorite indoor range. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent selection of concealed carry pistols and accessories. Prices are very good on most firearms, and cheap transfers. Membership pays for itself if you go only twice a month. My only complaints would be high ammunition prices and the range clientele showing lackluster respect for the range rules. While I may gripe about ammunition costs, they do allow you to bring outside ammunition including hand loads which is nicety a lot of other ranges will bend you over the table for. I still do tend to buy a box of ammo every now and then if I’m running out of what I brought. As for range rules, please fellow shooters obey them. There’s no need to unholster a weapon in the shop, period. I’ve seen reviews of people complaining about being scolded for drawing their weapons, and this is a lack of judgement on the reviewers part. I’m sure they would be equally unhappy if someone pulled a weapon in their place of business. Common sense folks. Do yourself a favor and at least check them out.

Incredibly impressed with this range, and the staff. I came in from out of state to shoot with some friends who live local to Reading. The range was clean, check in/out process was a breeze and the prices are super fair!! The staff was SUPER friendly and knowledgeable also. The customer service here is excellent. Andy is VERY knowledgeable and isn’t pushy with anything. Andy is very attentive to any questions that you have and will help you make an informed decision that’s right specifically for you and your specific needs. I’ve consigned numerous guns here and have completed numerous transfers here without any issues. They’re very organized and professional. The store is very clean and they don’t require you to wear a mask. They are not judgemental. They have a great variety of all types of firearms. This place is a little bit of a drive for me but it’s well worth it.

Good place. Staff is very nice and knowledgeable of firearms. Only 6 lanes to shoot on but don't have to wait long that is if you have to wait. To the gentleman, Eric Estrada, that said about price gouging for 9mm box of 50 for $50 just so you know shop around that is average price for that caliber and quantity. Overall good place and I've been going there for about 3 years.

My wife and I took the basic handgun class...well worth it. We even met the store owner, great guy. Employees were polite, attentive, and the store was clean. Use of the range was included in the class, and great to have an NRA experienced instructor and trainer walking us through. He alleviated the intimidation of firing a handgun safely and effectively, especially for my wife. We had fun, and will be going back. Thanks!

As a newbie to owning a pistol, I signed up for the beginners hand gun class with Michael. His instruction on safety, gun handling, and shooting basics was top notch. I was extremely impressed. The employees are very friendly, and were more then willing to answer the 50 million questions I had. I highly recommend them!

Qualified personnel who are very helpful. A good supply of shooting and hunting supplies. This store is clean and well laid out with gunsmiths on site (not a bunch of guys playing Army dress-up). The range is nice with good ventilation . I intend to make this my go-to gun shop/range. Good selection of used guns at reasonable prices.

This place is great and the guys are friendly, knowlegeable, and very helpful. Go other places first so you can see the difference for yourself. This small business is worth supporting. Also, good little indoor range at a great hourly rate. Memberships and training available. They will even custombuild an Ar15 for you. I Love this place!
