Hands On Physical Therapy

I have been going to this facility for about a month now. My first experience was watching Michelle, the lady at the front desk, interact with other clients. She was so personable and lovely. I then was able to see the physical therapist, Rick, and he was absolutely amazing. He took a lot of time assessing my injury, we came up with a game plan and went to work. This facility makes you feel like you’re not just a number, you truly feel like they care. Rick gave me resources that I can use at home, and has always been supportive of my journey. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Office is clean, staff is kind, and Dr. Rick spends time with the patients instead of delegating care to an aide. My family has been to several PT offices in the area and Hands On Physical Therapy is by far the calmest and most therapeutic environment we've experienced. Highly recommend.

I started seeing Rick after injuring my back about 8 weeks ago. I’ve been to the facility twice a week and each time I went I felt a little better each day. He sent me home with multiple stretches to do through the week. During my appointments with Rick he was always thorough and told me additional stretches I could do. I will recommend this facility to all of my family and friends!! Thank you for making me feel better!

Care is very personalized. The office is peaceful and treatment is one on one making sure exercises were done correctly. I had my treatment last year and would highly recommend Hands On PT.

I have had both my knees operated on and I have used Hands on Physical Therapy for both knee surgeries. Rick and his staff are amazing and super nice. My knees feel like they are teenager knees again.

Only great things to say about Hands on Physical Therapy! I’ve been working through severe spinal stenosis and disc herniations and have struggled to find comfort. Rick helped me work through a variety of stretches that have helped to allevate the pain and get my life back. Highly recommend their services. Staff is kind, attentive and always on time.

Before I started going here my left shoulder was frozen extremely painful. I also had limited movement, and was not sleeping threw the night. Dr. Richard and staff care about there patients. Now I have hardly any pain, and 85% of my movement back in my left shoulder. Hands on Physical Therapy is the place to go for all your therapy needs. I am very happy that I went here. My quailty of life is so much better. This is such a blessing Thank you!

Our family have been patients of Rick and Marcia for almost 15 years. They worked with my son when he as a baby through some recent injuries by multiple members of our family. The experience has always been great. I highly recommend Hands-On Physical Therapy!

from my first session at Hands on physical therapy I started noticing the improvement in the pain of my back, and after several sessions it is amazing, after living with pain all the time how well I am now feeling.
The doctor is very patient, kind, listen and he helps you in your whole healing process.I strongly recommend it!

This was the best physical therapy experience I've ever had. One month with Dr Gahman and I can use my knee like a normal person again. Dr Rich and his staff are terrific. I was looking for a small personal experience to help, coach, and encourage me with the rehab of two new knees. I found that and more! I feel the progress I made over three months was what many will tell you to expect after six months. Rich knows his stuff! He started me on an exercise routine and gradually and patiently made it more challenging as he watched me progress. Thank you Rich!

This will be my third body part in the last fifteen years that I've needed physical therapy for and I can't be more pleased from the results after working with Rick. While taking your pain into consideration he will stretch , ice,heat ....whatever your injury is he will make your experience painless as possible while feeling improvement with every visit.... This has been my best experience ever with head neck and jaw pain therapy! Richard is exceptional!! The whole facility and staff make it very conducive to a relaxing environment. Richard is very skilled and taught me many exercises and my pain level is now a 0-1. The therapy he provided was in a very relaxing professional atmosphere and I looked forward to going to every session. I highly recommend Hands On PT!

Dr. Gahman has helped me out a ton after significantly hurting my shoulder at the gym. The treatments and exercises he had me do made my shoulder recover quickly. The staff is very friendly also.

Rick quickly got me up and moving around. The stretches and exercises I still use to keep me flexible. The shoes inserts that were made are great quality and work very well!

Dr. Gahman really helped me last year. I was having neck/scap/trap/shoulder/lat pain on the left side. Dr. Gahman did his initial assessment and determined that PT was not going to help at that point. He immediately referred me to a pain specialist because I couldn’t sleep more than 1-2 hours at a time and only in a recliner. I had an MRI done and they found a disc herniation between C5 & C6. Later I ended up getting an epidural in my neck and I was able to avoid surgery after months of rest, stretching, and PT. I really appreciate his quick action and can’t thank him enough. He could have put me through months of PT but instead directed me to someone in his professional network right away. Not being able to sleep completely horizontal or workout for months, and constantly being in pain is horrible, but because of his actions I got the right care as soon as possible, and after 6 months from the injury I was able to workout without pain. I can’t thank him enough. No surgery and back to a normal active life within 6 months after such a severe injury.

The staff is friendly and helpful...always greeted with a smile. The therapist defines the business name with personal care, attention to details, and excellent professional therapy.

Excellent staff, I had Dr Gahman who I'd recommend to anyone. I've been to other physical therepy offices but this is Berks Counties premier facility in my opinion. Very knowledgeable and thorough about treatment being used. Check them out, they offer mamy services beyond just what's offered in the office.
