The Bally Hotel

My wife and I stopped in after spending a few hours at Fensty's Indoor Flea Market.
The parking lot was adequate for the time of day we visited, but I imagine it would be tough to find a good spot on a Saturday night.
Tori, our waitress, was an attentive and delightful help with menu selections and the history of her small town and hotel. We started with the butternut squash soup. It was delicious! I had the pulled pork with mac and cheese in a sizzling skillet. Excellent flavor and just the right portion to allow for a take-home lunch the next day. The missus had the chicken flatbread, and she enjoyed every bite!
The bathrooms were clean,and the atmosphere was cozy like an Irish pub, with interesting signs posted throughout.
At the end of our feast, we struck up a conversation with Tori about the hotel. She told us all about the past owners and the annual Irish "wake" celebration, in addition to a friendly gift. All in all, a great afternoon in a little town in Pennsylvania.

Great food at this place. There is a bar that people really seem to like too, and they often have live music here. I really like that they serve poutine here, and their cheesesteaks are really good too.

We went on a Sunday. Great casual atmosphere/decor. Food was great, service was great. Definitely going to go again. Going on Sunday during football to watch a game is not their strong point. Maybe 2 TVs. Otherwise, awesome casual place. Recommend.

The new look is fabulous! The food especially the boxy and black and blue poutine was out of this world. Also, the chicken ceaser flat bread was awesome. I Would highly recommend trying it.

Stopped to walk around Bally and the sign said - best fries in town. They were excellent. But the server (Wright) was really friendly and made the whole experience 5 star. We will be going back - we had the Reuben and mushroom wrap - both were excellent. The house made chips were amazing too and there was plenty. Great place to stop if you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the food while traveling 100!

Open mic night last Saturday. Older crowd. Chill vibe. Good entertainment. Got food to go. The recent renovation make the barcarea feel more open and lighter.

Always a good time at Bally's. The staff work so hard to make sure that you are happy.

Food was really good. We went to listen to the band Tres Hombres and decided to get dinner. We went light and simple because it was late, but it was so fantastic, that we're planning to come again and try a bigger meal.

Loved the charm of this historical beauty! Food is delish. I had the meatloaf with Texas toast. The bartender Tori is an absolute delight!

Excellent food, even better service! Tori was the hostess, waitress, AND cook for the day. Despite the staff shortage, our drinks were filled regularly, our food came out hot and was delicious, and the atmosphere was laid back and fun. Tori did a great job and had a sweet disposition while taking care of us. We will definitely be back soon!

Love the recent menu changes. Awesome drink menu with some original creations. Good place to stop for a drink & snack and possibly catch a dj or live band.

Cool local place, full of nice people, a good time, & yummy food. Buffalo Boneless wings were delicious! Burgers are HUGE!

Great food, great atmosphere, great waitstaff. I’ve been several times and each time they have been spot on. Each time I go I get something different and it’s always been good. Best Chicken Fried Steak I’ve had outside Texas. Definitely recommend!!

Progressive, yummy food. Excellent corn beef and cabbage. Fun atmosphere. Laid back.

My sister and I only had appetizers, but they tasted amazing. We also played some pool and had drinks. The staff was super friendly and we had a good time while there.

Such a great place...A week ago we had a after funeral lunch...Not only did Ian open up for us but we were treated wonderful..His staff was great and the food was great...We live out of town but everytime we visit our in laws we love to go there..I gave them 5 stars on everything....Thank you again Ian for being there for us...Edie and Dennis Buza

Wife and I went for St. Patrick's day and we had a great time! The staff was attentive and kind, despite the large crowd. We ordered some bar food: wings and chicken tenders, and we were very happy with it. Definitely gonna be heading back some time soon!

The owners have really turned things around here, me and my girlfriend were in for a shock. It was a nice atmosphere when we were there on a Friday night, not too loud or crowded. The food was excellent, the burgers and cheese steaks are delicious, the service was great. Much better than the Main Street Pub. The beer selection is decent, they have a few nice beers available in bottles that most bars wouldn't carry.
