I love ❤ Barnes and Noble. It is the best book store ever. There are lots of deals on books by new authors as well as by familiar ones. This is still a must visit place. There are also lots of toys for the youngsters. When my grandchildren are visiting, I always take them there and get them each a book and a toy, hopefully one to share as there are 5 of them visiting at a time. You can find Rubic Cubes there as well which I think are extremely challenging even for us elders!
Also, don't forget Starbucks 😉 which has your favorite coffee and tea drinks to enjoy there, or to go.

A bookstore with a passion for reading for all ages. There are not too many bookstores around today, although this store is my go-to for business, pleasure, and fun for the kids. There is an abundance of children's books. Also, an eatery serving Starbucks and local favorites.

Great store! Clean, very well stocked. You can find a gift for absolutely anyone in this store! Great place to go w your kids, significant other, etc.

A book lovers dream. If they don’t have it in store they can usually order it for you. Besides the great selection of books for all ages they also have gifts, toys, games, and this is the only B&N in the area with the Trend shop. Popular toys and collectibles to graphic novels and manga. Give yourself plenty of time to shop and browse or simply hang out in the cafe.

Staff was attentive, helpful, polite, and fully willing to discuss book recommendations! I tend to get my books online because it's cheaper, but I'm not opposed to returning!

Still the feel of a book store. I know it's a dying breed, but I still enjoy book stores. The feel of the paper. The smell of the books. Near and dear to my growing up many an hour spent browsing and saving up for books that I wanted! It's still there although now mixed with an exceeding ammount of small gift ideas. Clean store, helpful staff and books!

Friendly employees and a large collection of books to browse! They also have a Cafe to drink coffee and tables to browse and socialize with other people.

The best Barnes& Noble I've been to. The staff is very helpful with finding books, and the atmosphere is very peaceful.

Staff is so friendly and helpful. Store is always clean. Almost every item I go there for they have in stock. I hate shopping online and they don't push me to do so like some stores (looking at you Target). I will always give my business to brick and mortar and this location is a shining star.

Miss going to the bookstore to browse and pick out new books. So much easier than online.

Attended the B + N Book Club meeting this evening. Moderator Rebecca kept everything moving. Other attendees all had read the book and a lively and interesting discussion. Returning next month, July 17th for Mrs Everything

Was there shopping for vinyl record. I have bought several from here. They do refresh library but could use a bit more non-trendy selections. If that even makes sense.
I did walk away with a book after all. I give them 5 stars because I've been there a dozen times and have never walked away empty handed.

If you’re local to the Reading, PA and surrounding areas then I’m sure you would agree this is one of our hidden gems. One of the few Barnes & Noble stores open these days. Many people like to enjoy sitting down in the cafe with a coffee and a treat to either work, have meetings or of course enjoy a good book.

The staff have always been friendly and helpful. The book selection is good and if they don’t have what you’re looking for usually they can order it online and you can pick it up for free there.

Heard a familiar clacking sound at B&N a few years ago. They remodeled since then.

Big store and nicely laid out.

There’s a cafe area in the front, kids area in the back, media/pop culture and games section on the right and stationary, journals and calendars in the front. The have a good selection of magazines as well.

As far as books they have a good selection of fiction with some classic fiction, mystery, modern and historical. They have a few shelves of graphic novels too.

There is a good selection of nonfiction and reference books too, with history, politics, technical and language learning books.

Associate was very helpful when I was looking for a specific book.

Dez... assistant manager... is great! She's knowledgeable and super friendly. Best sugar free vanilla latte I've had in years! Thank you! Oh and the Cafe area is large and bright.
