Purchased two items during a sale event. When I checked those items out I was told that I could return them (was not made aware of any restrictions to returning). When I realized that the pants that I got didn’t fit me I went to return them and successfully made that return. The other item I got was for my mom and when I was able to get it to her that weekend she made me aware that it did not fit her. When I went to return it, I was told I could not return or exchange and that there was nothing they could do about it because all sales were final.
I was not given an explanation as to why I was told I could return the items when I purchased or why I was able to return one of the items but could not return the other.
I feel like I should have been able to return the item I purchased because I was given the information that I could and would not have made the purchase if I knew that I could not. And also because I already had returned one of the items I purchased that day.

Highly disappointed and dissatisfied
