This restaurant is a member of a dying breed alongside other small, roadside places. The food was perfect for what it was and I just absolutely loved the atmosphere.

Nice little place with lots of outdoor seating. Food was delicious and the ice cream was even better... especially the butter brickle.

This is my favorite ice-cream spot!. The ice creams are delicious and super creamy. This is like, my 3rd time here. The atmosphere is peaceful where you can see ducks swimming at a nice little stream behind the business. There are parking and tables outside where you can enjoy your burger, fries, sandwiches or ice-cream in peace. The workers are nice and patient. I even take pics of trucks here!

I love this place. Every time I went to the state, I will go there. If you have a chance come and stop by. They opened only in spring and summer. Now accepted credit card. Burger, hotdog, fries and ice cream also milk shake : all good food for your memories and their outdoor seat beside the canal, really love it.

Great atmosphere. Everyone inside is friendly and working hard. The banana split was excellent.

Today, i got 2 cheeseburgers, fries, and a rootbeer float. The fries and rootbeer float were excellent. The burger was cooked too long, but the fresh vegetables on it made it better. You can't beat the prices at this place. I'll definitely be back.

5 stars for casual and comfortable hamburgers, hot dogs and sandwiches while sitting at a picnic table next to a creek in July. Having black raspberry and butter brickle ice cream was a perfect end of a summer day.

Great service and vibe. Fun to hang out with the family outside and enjoy the creek. The food is average but affordable so seems fair to me. Ice cream is off the hook and I will be back for more.

Wonderful roadside stop just off Rt. 222 Adamstown PA. Large variety of ice cream flavors & creations along with the "grill" menu fit the bill to satisfy hungry people on the go or just out enjoying the day. Family owned and operated, the staff is a young crew that is very pleasant, works hard to accommodate customers and is happy to serve. (Please tip as many are working their way through school). The building and parking lot are spotless. The grounds, with quaint picnic tables, flowers blooming and a spectacular brook that runs along side the property are the cherry on top! (Too cool watching the duck families while devouring my Butterscotch Sundae!) Enjoy. Spread the word not Covid-19! (Masks were worn following protocol the day I visited.)

This is the quintessential Americana throwback roadside ice cream stand. They have burgers dogs and fries and then everything ice cream from just a cone to milkshakes to sundaes with all the toppings! It can get busy but it's worth the wait. Just grab a table outside by the stream and they call when your order is ready. Everything is good!!! But my most favorite is the chocolate butter fudge ice cream!!! It sounds so decadent but it is the lightest tastiest chocolate ice cream you will eat!!

It has a very relaxing atmosphere, with outside seating and beautiful scenery; not to mention the ducks. It's affordable, friendly staff and great food. I look forward to coming again.

An iconic drive-in that needs to be visited by all! The small building offers two lines for food and ice cream service. The food price is extremely reasonable and has the nostalgic flavor of visiting a fair as a kid. The ice cream flavors are incredible. I had the chocolate butter fudge which has a slight chocolate taste with a hint of butterscotch. There is no indoor seating, so be prepared to eat in the car (if the weather is bad) or of course, eat outside by the creek. Get there soon!

One of my favorite spots. Used to come here often with my family growing up. The food is awesome. The people are super nice. The cost is beyond reasonable. Either sit outside or in your car and watch the ducks go by. The ice cream is amazing and they’ve handled the COVID response well. Make sure you have cash!

Creamy and lots of flavor. The line Saturday night was long but moved quickly. The tables along the creek are a nice place to eat though bring your bug spray if it's dark.

Boy, did I love stopping at Boehringer's Drive-In!!! A step back in time!!! Just like when I was a kid. Fabulous homemade Ice Cream!!! Best Hot Ham & Cheese sandwich ever!!! Fries were terrific, too!!! Great organized service. Youthful workers handled a huge crowd with patience, friendliness and competent service!!! Great family place. Kids love the nearby creek and all the ducks. Picnic benches abound. Don't miss this place!!! Even if you have to go out of your way to get there; you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely divine ice cream, and least expensive (tasty!) burger I saw in the entire state of Pennsylvania. When the weather is nice, there is a large shaded picnic area with lots of ducks to watch play in the nearby stream. An old fashioned gem.

What a fun place for an old fashioned meal of burgers and fries. The fries were especially good. We had no room left for ice cream which looked yummie.Great to eat outside by a creek.

I have been coming here since my parents brought me here as a child. It is an old fashioned drive-in. The food is good. They have excellent birch beer & lots of ice cream choices.
The atmosphere is great, with picnic tables under shade trees by a creek.
What really impressed me on my most recent visit was the employees. The young people were pleasant, smiling when they took my order & delivered my food When they said thank you & have a nice evening, they said it as if they truly meant it.
