Sakana Sushi Asian Fusion Restaurant

Take out was on the menu for the evening and Sakana did not disappoint. We have eaten here many times before and the food was always good. The prices are very reasonable too. We had two orders of Chicken and Broccoli and an order of Orange Chicken. We never had the orange chicken but the entire family said they would order it again. It was similar to General Tso chicken but with a zesty citrus flair. Yummy. We also ordered some chicken noodle soup and it was delicious. It was light, not too salty and jam packed with long noodles. You can't beat warm soup on a cold night for $4.

Lastly, my wife was very pleased with the friendliness and great customer service from the staff upon pick up. We will be back again.

A Holy Grail of Cantonese Mandarin cuisine. I have no interest whatsoever and all the other modern Asian modalities with fruit and bizarre seasoning. Restaurants like Sakana are few and far between out here in PA. I grew up on this stuff. They do have the modalities I don't eat, and their Sushi is Top Notch.

We’ve used Sakana numerous times and love that their dishes actually have flavor unlike many other Asian restaurants which use premade sauces and focus on volume rather than quality.

Super friendly staff. They are very quick to accommodate walk-in orders. I’ve had great experience and great food highly recommended.

Very good food, both Sushi and Chinese. Big portions. Friendly Staff. No dining in at the time of this review. They offer pickup or delivery after 4pm.

Honestly one of the greatest food restaurants ever. Should be on the Mount Rushmore of great restaurants. If you aren’t there what are you doing right now? Hands down best miso soup around.

Wonderful food and friendly staff. My family and I have been coming here for decades. While the ownership has changed, the meals have remained amazing.

The sushi and sashimi is prepared to perfection! 🍣 The wait staff is very attentive also. I give it 5 stars 🌟!

So delicious!! The food was made fresh. We had chicken tempura, pork dumplings, miso soup, crab Rangoon (the best ove had in a long time!), chicken lo mein...the service was so good as well. Definitely have to go back for sushi!

I ordered take out for the first time and loved the food! I got general tso chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce and the flavors were very good. Same with the portions.
Customer service 10/10. The lady who were at the door was so nice and friendly. Hope they will open for dine in soon.

This restaurant is bussing on godddd. Sorry for the “hip” language but I can’t describe the tantalizing service and amazing food. The teriyaki chicken was absolutely scrumptious after my egg roll indulgence. I could palpate the aromas coming from the kitchen and absolutely would recommend this place to every single person I know who consumes food. Honestly amazing. Changed my life for the better. I can’t believe I lived before eating here, life was mundane. Thank you Sakana Sushi. Thank you. Breathtaking.

Starting the 25, May 2023 and finishing 24, June 2023, I completed a 6700 mile road trip from Santa Maria, CA (residence) to Easton, PA and back. It was mainly for my 60th college reunion (Lafayette) and to see friends (maybe for the last time) in the area of my home town of Bethlehem, PA. One of my best buddies lives in Chalfont, PA with his family. I visited them on June 9th after my college reunion. They wanted me to try take-out food from Sakana. They went for Chinese, I opted for Japanese.

My reason for Japanese cuisine is that I have a lot of experience in sampling their food. I worked on a research vessel out of Yokosuka for 4 months in the 60's. I also tried out for the Hanshin (Osaka) Tigers professional baseball team during that period. I have been to Japan twice in the 80's to attend weeklong science conferences. I have been to all 4 of Japan's major islands (Hokkaido, Honshu, Kyushu and Shikoku). Lastly California has a lot of Japanese restaurants and I wanted to compare Sakana's dishes.

My order of sushi (vinegar flavored rice rolls garnished with fish) and sashimi (raw fish) was as good as anything I have eaten in Japan or California. The seaweed salad was the best I have ever had.

As an extra note, I have never encountered a restaurant that had both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Also this take-out restaurant has an extensive and complete menu in both cuisines!

Moving from NY we were worried about finding good Chinese food. We hit the jackpot finding Sakana and all it offers!
Our favorites are the dumplings, chicken pad Thai and sushi!

This place is fabulous! After being sick of the other sushi places in town this was such a great surprise (I went two nights in a row!). I haven't had anything yet that I haven't enjoyed - the sushi is fresh and the portions are huge, the hot & sour soup is great, and the dinner boxes are a great deal, especially when you're in the mood for Chinese and Japanese. The fact that it's BYOB is also way easier on the wallet. Both the in-house dining and takeout are great.

Absolutely delicious! The food is extremely cheap (especially for lunch specials) and it comes with so much food I have to take it home every time. Everyone is very kind and the place is quiet and relaxing. Food makes great leftovers too. This is all time my favorite restaurant.

I accidentally found this place when I was feeling hungry and saw it. I got takeout and had an avocado cucumber roll. It was delicious and high quality, and the woman who took my order was very sweet! I'd definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely visit again!!

The triple Maki is a great deal! The miso soup is delicious and all the rolls are lovingly made and wonderful. My favorite local spot for sushi!

Glad I finally found a decent sushi place close to home. Dreamer roll is absolutely phenomenal... They have a vast specialty rolls selection. Can't wait to try another. Pricing is also on point, most items were cheaper here when compared to Ooka.

Delicious food and fast delivery. We have ordered 2 times since we found this restaurant and especially love the Japanese vegetable gyoza dumplings! Definitely our new Chinese/Sashimi spot!
