The owner James and his two sons are very personable and helpful. I enjoyed talking to him about his farm and thanked him for all their hard work. I told him my father taught us how to grow a garden back in Houston Texas and so I know the dedication and hours to take care of a garden, especially an undertaking as his. It was my first time there and I'm so glad I went. I'll definitely be coming back next year. I don't recall the cashier's name, I apologize, but she was nice, helpful, and friendly.

First time there today and it was unbelievable. If you like hot peppers and tomatoes, you can find pretty much any variety there. Prices are so low too. Friendly people, and there is so much more produce also. They accept credit cards as well which is always convenient. Just an amazing place that I highly recommend. Thank you all for the hard work you all put into this farm.

This place is THE place to get your garden started with literally hundreds of varieties of pepper plants and tomato plants and everything else... multiple large greenhouses. Friendly local business. Don't get your plants at the local Lowe's or Home Depot. Take a short drive out of the city to Meadow View Farms!

Wow...if you can't find it there, you don't need it. The selection of peppers and tomates is mind boggling, the variety is awesome. Flower selection is great too and the price is right! Wow, a great experience even on a grey rainy day!

Visited for the first time this summer and not sure why we haven't before? A great selection of peppers. We bought several pepper varieties and also a variety of eggplants and zuchini. This was the best harvest of vegetables we have had. Still getting tear drop eggplant and finger eggplant harvest. Made 3 batches of homemade pepper sauce from the variety of peppers. We definitely will be back.

Last year we got a ton of peppers and tomato plants for our garden. Getting ready to go again soon. We had a 100% grow rate, not a single plant died and they produced like crazy. The staff was helpful in selecting what was best for our needs and all reasonably priced. I had a tomato plant with 3 leaves about the size of quater and it grew into a huge plant. This was my first large garden and we will be returning for sure. I highly recommend this place for all your plants and seedling needs.

We went for the first time this weekend and look forward to going back often. It’s hard to capture how unique and special this farm is. Even at the end of the season, the selection of peppers was astonishing, not least for this being a small farm in the middle of Berks County that feels like you’re in Thailand, Mexico or the Caribbean. I made some great chili based salsas with the peppers and tomatillos I picked, and can’t wait to figure out new ways of using the extraordinary selection the farm offers.

Been going here for at least 20years to get my garden plants. They have the absolute best selection of peppers anywhere. Also an amazing selection of tomatoes plant and if you are into flowers, they put to shame most nurseries. Just don't go on Sunday because they are closed and in church since they are Mennonite farmers.

The go-to place for hot peppers, seasoning peppers, mild peppers... also eggplants, tomatoes.... They also have a large selection of potted plants/trees like peach, apple, blueberry, and a large flower nursery. I buy a bunch of plants here every year. Prices are very good. I can't grow peppers from seed for the same price as getting healthy plants here.

My birthday is in the spring, so I usually spend my birthday shopping for plants for the garden. They always have a great selection!

The hot pepper festival is always fun. Don't forget to try the soft serve, it's so good!

There is no more wholesome and better place than Meadow View Farm. We've been friends with the wonderful family who owns it since I was a child and come down a few times a year to visit.

Incredible produce and with warm hearts all around. A truly special place made so by beautiful special people.

James Weaver knows his stuff. You will not find a more knowledgeable greenhouse owner around. Whether it's shrubs, fruit trees, or vegetables his thorough knowledge of the various varieties and their distinct properties is really astounding. Oh, and I've never seen more varieties of jalapenos (he must have over a dozen), cayennes, other peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, etc... anywhere else!! Take a drive over and check it out, it's impressive!

Great place to buy sweet corn or plants, especially peppers, as they host the largest chile pepper festival on the East coast every September. Bonus if you get to talk to Miriam, who’s just the best.
